Weinig, is iets verouderd.

Een prachtig appartement met nog beter uitzicht. Adriaan en zijn vrouw hebben dit appartement 20 jaar geleden gebouwd, maar dat is er niet aan af te zien. Er wordt duidelijk zorgvuldig mee omgegaan. Het uitzicht is adembenemend. Bijzonder om vanaf je terras te kunnen whalewatchen.

Niets wat echt tegen viel, ze zijn ernaast aan het bouwen momenteel maar daar kan niemand iets aan doen. Wij hebben er overigens ook minimaal last van gehad. Verder zijn er wellicht een paar puntjes die wat aandacht behoeven omdat ze door de tand des tijds toch wat hebben geleden (bijv. Een badkamerdeur die niet heel lekker loopt) maar dat is echt muggenziften en Oals gezegd maakt het uitzicht/ de locatie veel goed

It was perfect. Southern Right Whales from the balcony, stunning sunsets, lovely walks and all from a superb apartment with friendly hosts.

We had an absolutely amazing stay over the past three days! The apartment is truly breathtaking – the view is simply unique and priceless. We could not get enough of it. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home right away. Our kids especially loved the private pool, which was a real highlight for the whole family. The apartment itself is perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the beds were extremely comfortable – we slept wonderfully. We can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special and relaxing stay, and we will definitely be coming back!

No breakfast,but apart from that we had a beautiful view of mountains and sea, fynbos, birds! The apartment was comfortable and everything we needed was available! The swimming pool next to the ocean was a bonus and the stars at night was spectacular!

Lots of steps, but the reward of the beautiful view was great.

Prachtige locatie aan de zee. Zwembadje. Vriendelijke hosts. Airco in de living en slaapkamers. Goed gelegen tov alle activiteiten in de buurt. Er werd ruim op voorhand gecommuniceerd ivm de bouwwerf langs de deur. De werkers hebben ook rekening gehouden met ons op vraag van de eigenaars, waardoor we geen hinder hebben ondervonden.

Great location and views. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and comfortable. The most comfortable bed ever. Pool was an amazing treat at the end of a hot day. Highly recommend the place.

It is a lovely place with an exceptional view and all the other stuff at hand like in your own house. The hosts Adriaan and Marie are friendly and helpful people, and it was just a pleasure to enjoy their beautiful apartment.

what we didn't like was the fact that we had to leave after 4 days.....

Big appartment with 2 bedrooms and each a bathroom. The big terrace has tremendous free view on ocean all the way to Cape of Good Hope. Private parking. Has everything you need. Effective communication with (upstairs) owner. Several good restautants at driving distance. Well located also for shark cage diving.

One day bad smell in and around appartment, might have to do with sectic tanks being emptied that day.

The hosts were friendly. The apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. The view from the apartment was amazing. Restaurant recommendations - The great white house delicious seafood and Afrikanos Croc restaurant great pizza. Places of interest close by is the African penguin and seabird sanctuary, walkerbay nature reserve , de kelders.

Prachtige plek met mooi uitzicht, zwembad is fijn voor verkoeling (zelfs in de winter op een zonnige dag). Langs de kust loopt een lang wandelpad dat je vanuit het appartement in beide richtingen kunt volgen, erg mooi!

De ramen waren vrij vies en dat is wel zonde met het mooie uitzicht…

Such a beautiful place with the kindest hosts. Perfect location and quality linen. More than we could hope for. The view is stunning and we loved our two night stay!

Location was everything, perfect views to wake up to. The apartment had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant, my family and I enjoyed it.

No amenities within walking distance

Exceptional views. Very spacious. Two and a half bathrooms made it very comfortable for a family of 5. Kids enjoyed the splash pool. Swimming towels provided were a bonus. Owners were very kind and courteous. Would definitely book again!

Although it is a self catering, it would be nice to have a helper to clean atleast every second day.we were told that only if you book ten days above can a helper be assigned. We booked 6 nights.The apartment is a bit outdated and the lighting is dull and dark but the views made up for it. When we got there we had to sweep out and remove some cobwebs from the sliding doors and windows Especially in Kids room. I think it needs a better cleaning overall.

This place was comfortable, clean, private, quiet, and best of all, the view was incredible! You can see whales 🐋 and other marine life from the balcony. Mr. Adriaan is very kind and attentive to all your needs.

You can't get better views of the bay and sea than here. The apartment was perfect with everything we needed. There were whales right in front of the house and we had a great time spotting them. You are very close to Gansbaai and everything you need is in close vicinity. We will definitely visit again.

The view was outstanding, and is closer than the photo’s. The hosts were accommodating and such a pleasure to engage with. The beach was a short walk and there was everything you needed.

The property was as advertised, was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our holiday. Parking was provided and the pool was lovely after a day of sight seeing.

The view was excellent. The pool was nice to cool off in during the hot days. The lounge is cosy. The air cons were working well.

While the Weber was fine for braaiing, it would be good if the facilities for a braai on the bench top could be prepared for guests to braai. At the end of the 'passage' where the chairs are stored, the packing space can be hugely improved by providing shelving and/or cupboards. The sliding door to the main-bedroom bathroom is a bit wobbly.

Our stay was magical, the location is magical! The property is right in front of the socean, we could hear the waves all the time and spot whales from our terrace. It is right on top of this beautiful path you can take along the coast. The property is not affected by loadshedding. As a family with three small children we felt welcomed. The owners are really nice people.

The view was simply awesome, prime location. Tranquil and relaxing. The host was excellent and gave helpful tips. My friends and I had an amazing time.

What an amazing apartment. The view is to die for, the owners were brilliant. They had thought of everything you could ever need. Spotless accommodation that felt so homely. Can't recommend it enough.

The only thing we didn't like was nothing to do with the accommodation, but the area of gansbaai itself didn't have much to do. Though we found 2 lovely restaurants, the Great White House and the Blue Goose. We went for the shark cage diving though so it was a perfect spot to get to there and see the penguins sanctuary. Would make a great base for travelling to different bits in the surrounding area

The view is breathtaking and the aircon helped with the hot and humid days and nights. Adriaan was a great host as well.

I absolutely enjoyed the comfort of home and the luxury of a vacation all rolled into one. The space had everything you needed for a home away from home. I also enjoyed the peace and quiet and picturesque views.
