Only spent one of the three nights that I hah booked due to the location and surroundings

no restaurants or other facilities in the nearby surroundings for a solo traveler and the nearby beach in a filthy state

The hosts were extremely friendly and the complementary breakfast was good.

Host was very helpful and caring. I also could keep my big bag and gosightseeingg to other towns. Breakfast was good, too.

Breakfast was nice and fruit plate served by the owner of property was very delicious. My stay was comfortable, it was nice peaceful place to spend couple of days or stay long for working.

Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hat uns in allen Fragen sehr unterstützt. Das Frühstück war lecker mit frischem Obst! Zum Haus gehört ein sehr feines Restaurant, das sehr leckeres, einheimische Essen zubereitet. Das Essen wird auf der Zimmerterrasse serviert. Ein schöner Aufenthalt in einer schönen Umgebung

Sehr herzlicher Empfang auf Sri Lanka. Perfekt für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in der Nähe zum Flughafen. Wir wurden lecker bekocht, haben zahlreiche Tipps für Unternehmungen erhalten und wurden am nächsten Tag nach Colombo zum Bahnhof gefahren. Top! :)

My stay at this villa was truly unforgettable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing – generous, delicious, and beautifully served. But what made this experience truly special was the host. He treated me with the kindness and care of a loving father. He went above and beyond to help me: he offered to do my laundry, accompanied me to a local barbershop and translated for me, and even showed me the easiest way to get to the airport by bus. We had a couple of great conversations that made me feel welcome and at home. On top of everything, he kindly allowed me a late checkout, which made my departure much more comfortable. This has been, without a doubt, the best Booking.com experience I’ve ever had. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and I will definitely be coming back! I was so happy here ❤️

Breakfast was amazing, close to the airport and a great restaurant but in a calm village environment. The host has tons of hospitality experience, including with elders. This would be a great place for elderly travelers to stay.

The road it’s on could be a little noisy, and not direct access to the beach, but still great location, not far from the beach, amazing value

Mac and his wife are exactly the people you want to meet when you arrive to Sri Lanka. They are so nice and helpful and we loved staying with them. We will definetely come back. We highly recommend staying with them. The room has everything you need.

The room was big and nice. Comfortable bed. And close to the airport. Owner was super helpful and he served us a really nice breakfast! 2min walk to the beach. So my kid was super happy with the stay.

Nothing to complain about

Comfortable bed, pillows, shower with warm water and really feiendly family stay in the house. Nice breakfast and dinner when I wanted. AC worked well, also kettle, tea and coffee in the room.

Mac was a wonderful host. He did everything to make the stay comfortable. I enjoyed his company and hospitality.

Nice large room, quiet AC, separate entrance, good wifi, kettle, hot drinks... And a wonderful host, Mr 'Mac' . always friendly and helpful, prepared fresh fish every night, provided good breakfast, was responsive to any requests, arranged a boat tour (Wildlife in the mangroves, best in the morning).

Mack is an excellent host. We have stayed it this spot 3 times over a period of 3 weeks doing a bicycle trip in Sri Lanka. We could store our bike boxes and a bag at Steur Villa for the inbetween period. Steur Villa also provided the airport transfers and when we had a bit extra time a nice tour around Negombo. We had grood breakfasts and an excellent dinner too. The room was spacious.

Although the location is not in the center of Colombo or Negombo, it offers nice views of the lagoon and the sea. Restaurants are a bit further away from Steur Villa but easily reachable by Tuctuc or Taxi.

The hosts were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Details that were thoughtful and well thought out. 2 comfy reading chairs with a small table and lamp, a large room, private and quiet. A welcome drink, freshly squeezed orange juice A light above the mirror in the bathroom Free tea & coffee in the room A TV, the remote control was sterile and covered. A lovely packed breakfast and help onto the bus with my luggage. I couldn't ask for more. It felt safe, very clean, and homely. Ideal for a solo traveller

We felt like home since the 1st moment, the room is big and clean with everything we needed, the hosts are very nice and friendly
