Not e bike friendly. There is no electricity in the shed. This maybe an issue for some people who do not know how to remove rhe battery. It would be great if the put some electrical sockets in the garage. No staff available to help

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The location along the Main Street but away from the main town is fabulous. A beautifully peaceful location. The outlook from my balcony across the road to the paddock was just what my soul needed! The restaurant is fabulous and the staff so warm and friendly. They looked after me very well.
I hadn’t read properly and did not realise at time of booking that my room only had a bath without a shower…but I enjoyed the bath!

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Good accommodation at a reasonable price. Short walk to Ilanz town. Used as a base for doing the various mountain road passes although it is slightly a bit far to the east. Not far to drive to Chur also.
Minor glitch was that the wifi was not constant and regularly went off sometimes in the middle of banking and / or arranging onward travel.

Waterkoker kon je niet gebruiken omdat stekker niet passte. ( Europese stekker waterkoker ) Licht van staanlamp kon je niet doven. Te zacht bed, niet goed voor rugpatiënten.

Das Badezimmer hat nach nassem Hund gerochen. Das restliche Zimmer wurde so einparfümiert, dass man wirklich sehr lange lüften musste, um Luft zu bekommen. Dadurch sind allerdings sehr viele Fliegen in das Zimmer gekommen, da sich auf der anderen Straßenseite ein Pferdehof befindet. Lediglich eines von drei Fenstern hatte ein Fliegengitter. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste und haben das Zimmer direkt zur Straße erhalten. Obwohl Sonntag war, waren extrem viele LKWs unterwegs, wodurch man keine Ruhe hatte.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026ES ist schon gewöhnungsbedürftig dass kein Personal vor Ort ist, beim Ein- und Auschecken war niemand persönlich anwesend, Stellplätze für Fahrräder sind vorhanden aber nicht verschließbar, es wurde kein Frühstück angeboten.

Nessuna colazione. Nessuna reception. Istruzioni da SMS. Prelevato la chiave da un piccolo box con codice numerico ed ivi riposta al mattino. La porta del bagno sbatte contro i piedi del letto: andrebbe sostituita con una scorrevole.

Lack of air conditioning and when you open the windows for cooling and ventilation the noise from the road was too much at times and woke us. Sadly we were notified only having started our european tour that breakfast and dinner on the day of our arrival was not possible. A little late to notify us.

Leider ist kein Frühstück erhältlich, es hat aber einen Wasserkocher und Tee und Kaffee auf dem Zimmer.

Reviewed May 11, 2026Home to William Tell!! Dreamy bed, just right mattress & pillows, we like them soft. Great room size on third floor, could swing a cat! No kettle but we asked and got a thermos & teas. Toilet on same level- the shared shower on level 2. Basin in room. Parking around the corner free 45 mins plus 7am-7pm. Very quiet room. Looked at all on the 3rd floor & best would be 33, we stayed in 36. Very good breakfast and helpful waitress who helped us to no end. Beautifully laid out & decorated village, some walking only at the end of the lake, William Tell’s home town so museum and statue to explore! Lovely boutiques as well!

Our room was spacious, well equipped and beautifully decorated in a traditional style. The self check-in worked seemlessly and our hosts were super helpful.

Reviewed Apr 27, 2026Der Gasthof liegt kurz vor Ilanz im Grünen, an einer ruhigen Strasse. Und wenigen Gehminuten ist man am Bahnhof und im Dorf, und auch am Fluss beim Naturschutzgebiet. Wir hatten Blick auf Berge, Wiesen, die Pferdekoppel und Schafe. Sehr idyllisch. Das Zimmer ist gemütlich in Holz gehalten, stilvoll schlicht zwischen nostalgisch und modern. Das Bett war ausserordentlich bequem und das Bad auch sehr komfortabel und sauber. Im Zimmer hat es einen Wasserkocher, Tees und etwas Kaffee. Abends ist die Pizzeria geöffnet inkl. Terrasse mit Abendsonne, dennoch war der Betrieb nicht zu hören. Wir hatten einen sehr ruhigen Aufenthalt. Aufgrund der Self-Check-In Box hatten wir bei unserer Übernachtung kaum Kontakt zum Personal, fühlten uns aber gut aufgehoben.

It is right on a hiway, so was some traffic noise all night.

Der Strahler ans Haus sollte nach Gasthaus-Schluss ausgeschaltet werden, leuchtet leider die ganze Nacht über ins Zimmer. Badezimmertür klemmt und lässt sich schwer schliessen. Kein WLAN verfügbar, entgegen der erhaltenen Info.

Reviewed Mar 25, 2026Myslím, že na Švýcarsko dobrý poměr cena/výkon. Ubytování bylo kousek od obchodu, kam se dalo dojít během ani ne 5 minut pěšky, zároveň to bylo kousek například od Laax, kam jsme jezdili lyžovat. Velké parkoviště, takže nebyl problém zaparkovat. Když jsme měli problém s připojením na wifi, majitelé hned reagovali a problém vyřešili.
Do pokoje bych umístila stropní světlo, byly tam spíš lampy a v pokoji bylo hodně šero.

Badezimmer Tür lässt sich nicht komplett schließen, weil sie unten abgeschliffen werden muss.

Reviewed Mar 5, 2026Charming small hotel that at the moment acts more like an AirBnB. The check in process was easy, with clear instructions and easy to locate key boxes. The rooms where clean and cozy.
We booked three rooms. They all cost the same but their size and amenities varied. The smallest one was half the size of the biggest one. The bathroom door of the big room could not close, which caused some privacy issues.

In Ca. 20 min . per Auto Skigebiete Seilbahn, Sesselbahn erreichbar. Grosser Parkplatz ausreichend für ca 10 Fahrzeuge. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Betreiber, familiäre Atmosphäre. Schade, dass die Pizzeria im Untergeschoss geschlossen hatte. Die Wiedereröffnung ist auf Mitte März ausgerichtet.
