The shower is in need of an upgrade, even if it’s just a larger shower curtain to avoid water going everywhere, 20 minutes by bus from the main Interlaken Ost station where many of our transfers were from

Manque de four micro onde c'est dommage. Et la salle de bain assez petite la baignoire prend toute la place et il ne faut pas être grand pour s'y doucher. Ça reste des details💪

The location is hard to beat, spacious, fairly well equipped. Access to washing machine and tumble dryer. The staff are helpful.

Only commenting on 1st floor apartment, It’s just a bit tired and past its best. Expected a little more for the cost. It’s 99% about the location. Noise from above is very noticeable. Kitchen is very small, no dishwasher. Beds weren’t great.

My daughter and I stayed in Chalet Seehus for four days. Check in was very easy and the host was very welcoming and kind. We were in the top apartment and just loved the place. It was a perfect for our mid vacation stay. Even though there is no air con (which is common in Switzerland,) we opened the windows and got a wonderful cross breeze off the lake and there were fans for every room. It was very comfortable for sleeping at night and it provided more space than any of our hotel rooms. The toilet and shower a separate which is convenient and the shower had really nice water pressure. We also appreciated the opportunity to do laundry mid trip which was located in the basement and kept very tidy. The kitchen has all the basics and we did a little cooking in too. (Please note that there is no dishwasher.) LOVED THE LOCATION It's located in an adorable village with really easy bus or ferry access into Interlaken. Plus, they offered us a free local bus pass which saved us $! (We'd bus 20 minutes to Interlaken- then you can train nearly anywhere.) There is a small grocery store right nearby where we bought laundry detergent and some basic cooking supplies. There is a great restaurant near the local hostel right on the water. (Beware many restaurants close either on Tuesday on Wednesday and we missed dining out on our last night.) There is ez paddle board/kayak rental within walking distance and a swim spot right across the street! The lake is a beautiful glacial blue and was so clean and refreshingly cool - it was just perfect for beating in the heatwave hitting Europe right now. There is also a beautiful hike with the trailhead right from the village. It is nice and shady walk that goes along the lake toward Brienz. From the hike, we took the train up to the historic hotel and waterfall. The food was pricey but yummy, the views stunning and this spot is very popular with tourists.

TOP APARTMENT The Seehus space was perfect for the 2 of us. It would be tight with 5 people and 5 suitcases. The finishes are pretty basic but were fine for us. If you have a problem with stairs- there are several flights up to the top apartment and you have to haul your luggage up and down too. (Plus there are more stairs down to the laundry in the basement.) The tourists tend to arrive with the first ferry around 9 am and they use the swim spot right out front. (We would have preferred to have this village and swim spot all to ourselves. For privacy- swim in the early morning or late evening. However, it is tourist HIGH season and the money these visitors bring, helps the locals thrive so it didn't bother us that much.

Very clean and of course it’s location, location. Wonderful staff and Irene was very courteous and explained everything that made the stay enjoyable. The town people are friendly and cozy surrounding.

Having only one bathroom for five people was a bit challenging at times, but we still managed well and enjoyed our stay 😊 Limited buses at night. We once missed the last bus 103 from interlaken ost which was at 8pm.

The view and area were stunning, rooms were big and so was the sitting room.

Needed more towels and bed sheets.

Staying here you are treated to some of the most beautiful views you can imagine. We were looking for a weekend of peace and quiet and that is exactly what we found. Truly a place to really unwind and relax.

Some maintenance needed on the overall property. Bathroom is very date but apart from that the rest of the property is really comfortable and ensure a good overall experience.

Emplacement exceptionnel face au lac de Brienz. Ils nous ont aimablement fourni, sur demande, un appareil à raclette et un toaster.

L'appareil à raclette n'avait pas été nettoyé par l'ancien utilisateur. Les équipements, la propreté et le confort sont juste bien mais on ne peut pas les qualifier d'exceptionnel. Difficile de juger le rapport qualité-prix de cet hébergement car il semble que tout soit plutôt cher dans cette région de l'Oberland bernois, en comparaison avec le Valais.

Beds were terribly uncomfortable. Place felt like a youth hostel but it was supposed to be a family apartment. There was no comfort at all. Although the host was very friendly and helpful, we will not stay again.

das Chalet lag direkt am See, toller Ausblick aus dem Wohnzimmer, gut war die Möglichkeit, im Keller zu waschen, insgesamt war das Haus aber schon sehr alt und es gab wenig Gemütlichkeit in den Räumen. Sehr karg eingerichtet. Es war jedoch sauber. Die Dame, von der wir den Schlüssel holten, war sehr nett und hilfsbereit

Preis- Leistung stimmte nicht.

A kilátás az erkélyről nagyon pazar, egész végig amikor otthon voltunk kint ültünk, és nem tudtunk vele betelni .

Amazing view and just a couple of meters for swim. We lived on ground floor with an own garden, it was amazing.

it could be better if there is a microwave and a toaster. There was an issue with the hot water system in the middle of winter during our stay. It may be an isolated thing.

I love the location of the property and the view was fabulous

The place was clean don’t get me wrong, but it needs a bit more cleaning from the outside. We saw multiple spiderwebs on the outside of the windows.

Amazing view of the lake and very close to the port, grocery and bus station. A free-enrty strandbad is just a few minutes walk. The kitchen has basic equipment for cooking. The washing machine and dryer are in the basement. The staff are great and very helpful. Choose the apartment on the 1st floor which has a balcony.

It's a bit pricey but definitely worth it!

Great location overlooking the lake. Close proximity to the pier, minimart. Check in team was great, helpful, and accommodated our requests.

This is an old building, we were on the ground floor apartment. The apartment is spacious but cleanliness was somewhat of an issue. We wore clean white socks around the apartment and the socks would be very dirty before end of each day. Sofa in the TV room had crumbs on it, we didn’t use the TV room except to store luggages. We could hear upstairs apartment/ people walking, running, moving tables, chairs etc, sometimes late into the night. Two of the 3 bedrooms were below the ground floor and these 2 rooms had a very strong “stuffy old” smell which is hard to ignore. And whilst the location is great (right by the lake), we get tourists looking into the apartment whenever we had the windows open during the day hence not as private as we had hoped. Some of the cooking utensils were dirty and very worn out. The toilet also had a slight stench and needs to be aired.

The property was clean and spacious. The view was spectacular. Each morning and evening we enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in the view of the lake and mountains. The town of Isetwald is very small but very cute.

Everything starting from location facing the lake, surrounding, the house, the facilities, the cleanliness, the classics style, the kitchen, the verandah, dedicated car parking, etc.

I wish to get a twin or king bed for the master bedroom.

Only one bathroom in the apartment, we were five, and also noisy if kids are on the apartment above

The location was perfect. The view from our window was the stunning lake and snow capped mountains. There was a shop in the village where we could buy freshly baked warm bread which tasted so good. Less than ten minutes walk from our accomodation was a shop and a local dairyman. They sell the most natural , authentic tasting fresh milk, expressed, churned, pasteurised on site for the customer's delight. One of the delights of a small village life.

The rooms were tiny. The beds were uncomfortable, causing some back pain. With the price they ask from customers, they should invest on better mattresses and pillows. We rented 2 apartments, one of the apartments' bathroom was so small that it was difficult to get into the bath. I suggest they refurbish their bathrooms and bedrooms to make them more comfortable for their customers.
