Clean modern accommodation close to the city centre

Location was amazing. Cleanliness was great. Professional communication and customer service when needed. Kitchen has all necessary utensils and equipments. Well insulated apartment.

No lift the flats are on second floor. Additonal pillows could be provided. Internet was slightly slow during our stay.

In most ways a great place to stay in Bergen. Flat was a perfect size for a single traveler, really good central location. Quiet street etc. Not really any complaints about the flat itself.

This review would easily be a 9 or 10 but the key collection/return method just isn’t fair/right. You have to collect keys from a separate location which thankfully was not a major pain for me as I was walking from the train station and it’s on the way from there to the flat. However if I had an early flight back, or mobility issues, carrying lots of baggage so needed to take an uber/taxi I could see this being a complete pain. Clearly a decent sized company runs this and multiple other apartments in Bergen so I don’t understand why having key collection on site is beyond them.

Non adeguato numero di asciugamani e carta igienica x 6 gg, assenza di un tappetino per uscire dalla doccia, continui messaggi automatici che ripetevano le stesse indicazioni di come lasciare l’appartamento al check out (addirittura di piegare gli asciugamani usati e di farli trovare sul letto). Inoltre abbiamo richiesto di poter lasciare le chiavi nell’appartamento visto che avevamo un taxi per aeroporto alle 4.30 del mattino e ci è stata rifiutata la cortesia. Assenza di ascensore, oltre al tragitto in salita con valigie è necessario trasportarle al 3 piano

Sehr gemütliche Wohnung in toller Lage.

Appartamento nuovo e confortevole, posizione centralissima a 2 passi da Briggen. Silenziosissimo e dotato di tutto (con cucina/forno/lavasciuga ecc). Quartiere molto bello e tranquillo, caratteristico e pieno di case colorate e stradine

Chiavi un po' scomode da ritirare a 10 min in salita/discesa dall'appartamento. Per chi arriva in stazione con valigie, l'appartamento è a 15/20 min a piedi ma considerate strade in salita e ciottolate. Per il resto consigliatissimo

Appartement très agréable : joliment décoré, fonctionnel, très bien équipé (cuisine, lave linge, sèche linge...), bien situé, à 10min du port, dans un quartier résidentiel donc calme et adorable. Supermarché et boulangerie à proximité.

We hadden problemen met de inductie kookplaat, dit werd pas na 2 dagen gemaakt en bleek een heel klein dingetje. Voor ons betekende het uit eten ( duur duur) en eten weggooien welke niet gekookt kon worden.

Monolocale completo di cucina e lavatrice, molto comodo per una persona. Posizione centrale non distante dal porto turistico e dal mercato del pesce. Le chiavi vanno ritirate in un punto poco distante presso una macchinetta automatica, e riconsegnate lì. Molto pulito e confortevole.

Un emplacement centre-ville excellent, très proche des lieux intéressants, tel le port, le parking est à 5mn , pas besoin de la voiture pdt le séjour. L'appartement bien équipé, il manque simplement un porte savon dans la douche. Nous recommandons cet appartement.

Gute Lage für ein paar Tage Urlaub in Bergen

Ein Zweitschlüssel war nicht verfügbar. Der Boden war klebrig und nicht ausreichend gereinigt.

Apartment was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Kitchen well-equipped. Washing machine great. Everything was nearby. Generally, clear and good instructions.

Automated responses are not as good as a personal touch. Hadn't expected the steep roads, when also had to climb four floors, but nice views over the rooftops. Door for lockbox and key withdrawal took a few goes but it worked.

La limpieza del apartamento y aseo, la ropa de cama y la cocina muy completa . Te sientes como en casa. Muy recomendable si valoras la higiene y los detalles de TV, wifi, microondas , buenas camas y buen sofá. Sin pegas!

Por destacar algo, se agradecería una sarten pequeña y no sólo la grande..

Comfortable studio apartment. Quiet area. The view from the top floor flat was great.

No elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage. Key pick up was not so close to the apartment, but it was ok because I was heading in that direction anyway. Most of the flats in the building are owned by Forenom.

¿Por dónde empiezo? La recogido de llaves es en otra ubicación al apartamento (y tienes que esperar sí o sí hasta las 16:00). No hay ascensor. Si vas a alojarte allí, hazlo con mochila, son 4 pisos. No hay canal por cable y solo puedes ver YouTube, el Wifi falla constantemente. La cocina (vitro) se apaga todo el rato/sensor de calor muy sensible. Las toallas (casi transparentes) del uso. No hay nada de enseres. Considero que es un precio alto por lo básico del apartamento. No repetiría ni lo recomiendo para más allá de 2 días.

Komfortabelt rom, sentralt, dimbart lys, stor kjøkkenplass, rent.

Stekeovnen funket ikke, og dette ble det ikke opplyst om. Det var også veldig tungvint å dra med seg tung bagasje fra bybanestasjonen til stedet der jeg hentet nøklene, og så derfra til rommet. En del bråk i bygget og utenfor fredag natt.

Centrally located in Bergen. Beautiful furniture and good amenities. Great view.

It's a bit inconvenient that you have to pick up the key at a different location, and the key box isn't located directly in the apartment building. You then have to return the key there as well. Regular check-in time could also start as early as 3:00 PM. There is also no elevator in the building, which is something to keep in mind.

Cosy and very comfortable

I think the apartment kitchen could use some basics like cooking oil, salt and pepper but not a deal breaker at all.

The apartment is absolutely beautiful! All looks new, clean, the kitchen is great and well equipped. Have hot shower, nice bed (although 2 singles), comfortable sofa.

Checkout bit late compared to other places, No baggage storage, have to get and leave the key at other location and come single traveller without the option to keep my luggage somewhere it's been a real nightmare. Also on the 3rd floor without a lift.

The location was really nice. It was quiet as well.

A few items to make the apartment more usable; it had pepper but no salt; coffee filters but not even a starter coffee pack. I didn’t like it required a trip to the store after a long day of travel just to have apartment basics. I compare them to Sonder, which is the exact same concept and they offer free locked storage on day of arrival, coffee packets and other basics which travelers appreciate.

Location was good and property clean and welcoming

Collecting the keys from a 10 minute walk away with luggage . No lifts, on the fourth floor, not stated in the details. We had 2 large suitcases for a three week stay in Norway. Cooker malfunction that meant unable to cook evening meals. The host was easy to contact and very helpful.

Schön eingerichtet und sauber. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Die Lage ist hervorragend, der Weg ins Zentrum ist kurz. Es gibt naheliegend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Avremmo gradito trovare del sale, dell'olio e delle bustine di thé. Inoltre, avendo il volo di sera, ci sarebbe stato d'aiuto lasciare le valigie almeno fino alle 13,30 ma ciò era possibile solo pagando.

Good position close to the harbour and to the main interesting points. Good comunication with the staff.

Poor cleanliness. We found a lot of dog hair. Probably the previous guest had a pet, but it could be cleaned better. It was not good for out 1 years old baby. Uncomfortable beds.

I had a wonderful stay at this spacious apartment in Bergen. It was a good size and had everything you needed, including dishwasher tablets and a washing machine. The apartment is just across from a beautiful street with gorgeous storybook houses that tour guides take people to see. It's a very cute location, and close to the harbour area with Fisherman's wharf and the old town.

It was a little annoying having to get keys from one location and then go to the apartment (although I did arrive at 11pm at night when it was raining, as my train broke down so that likely impacted my experience). I also found it hard to find using Google maps, I think it was struggling with the narrow, irregular streets. It was easier with a paper map. It's also up 4 flights of stairs with no lift. That being said this was a very comfortable and well equipped apartment and I would recommend it.

Uncomfortable bed with only one bad sleeping pillow, only one towel per person for 6 nights.

La struttura è molto accogliente, spaziosa e molto pulita. Ha tutto il necessario sia per un breve soggiorno che lungo. L’host è stato molto gentile.

Purtroppo bisogna fare tante scale a piedi e non è presente un ascensore. Una nota negativa è la consegna delle chiavi: bisogna ritirarle in un’altra struttura a 8 minuti di distanza a piedi e con le valigie non è stato comodo né ritirarle né restituirle alle 5 di mattina. Un’altra pecca che non danno flessibilità del check in, noi siamo arrivati alle 14.20 e abbiamo dovuto aspettare fino alle 16 che si sbloccassero le chiavi, nonostante le ripetute richieste di anticiparlo anche a pagamento. Potrebbe essere molto più semplice il check in.

Great location and had everything we needed for a few nights.

Our apartment was the 8th floor but the lift only went to 7th floor. Whilst walking one set of stairs wasn’t a problem the directions could be improved to clarify you need to catch the lift to 7th floor and then walk up one flight.

We couldn't get oven to heat up. Scourers for cleaning saucepans more easily would have helped.

Great location on pretty street near the centre.

We had a issue with no hot water in kitchen and bathroom when we arrived, but managed to get this turned on ourselves thanks to helpful telephone instructions from the young woman in your office.

A very nice and quiet apartment equipped with the essentials and very clean. The location is just 6 minutes from the city center. With public transportation very close. The only objection I would have would be that at check out the key must be handed over from where it was picked up upon arrival, which is not the same location as the accommodation. Although it is not far from the accommodation for very early check outs it can be a bit inconvenient. But all in all we felt very good here and if in the future we come here or to Sweden or to Oslo we will definitely use Forenom services again and we will recommend them to our acquaintances with the greatest confidence.

The location is incredible, but be warned that the this part of Bergen has a lot of steep hills so if you are a bit older or have poor mobility/fitness you might find it tough getting around.

The location and that’s where it begins and ends.

There was an incredibly strong smell of spices when we first arrived and the smell remained for all 4 days. The smell was so bad that we could not sleep and our clothes smelt terrible. The host was incredibly slow to respond to my messages and despite sending a cleaner, where I also had to continuously follow-up, the smell remained. This stay was a disaster.

We were advised to pick up the keys from another site. Despite requests for information on the proximity of the other site and the process I received very little response. When people arrive in a strange city from abroad they don't want to be messed about with finding some place other than the one they book. We were fortunate to meet a young lady who was a tennant in the same building and she assisted us getting the key. There is no lift in the property and climbing up to the fourth floor took some of the gloss off the experience. Then when we left and had to return the key to the other property we couldn't get the lock box to open for us to deposit the key. A phone call to Support got to someone in Finland who had to speak to someone else then ring back and open the box remotely.

Very good apartment. We got a last minute upgrade the day before arrival and the property was brilliant. The location was excellent.

It is situated at a convenient location, you're able to get to most places by foot and if not, the train stop is nearby.

There's a smell of public restroom smell in our bathroom. The utensils are not clean with a gulp of food stuck on the spoon, forks & cups have stains on them as well. The listing does not state that it is in a walk up only building, you will have to carry your luggage up and down. You will pass by a steep uphill/downhill road to the apartment if it matters for people with heavy luggages. It has a washing machine but no laundry pods.

Lovely and clean

Bed was not very good, they could put a 3/4 in there, they have space for that. And I got what can only be discribed as half a pillow. But these are minor issues compared to the positives.

When I got a problem with the hotplates and I called for help, the woman who answered was quick to respond and very helpful.

The lights are difficult to turn off and the hotplates had some ringing problem.

Location

You should know that if you have an early flight, it can be inconvenient to drop the keys at a location different from the apartment. Even though it's only a few minutes' walk, it's not ideal to do this with your luggage when you're heading to the airport. Also, make sure to leave the apartment as clean as you found it; otherwise, they might charge you for cleaning. This isn’t always obvious, but the place is popular with students who sometimes have gatherings and drink in the rooms, so it can get noisy before midnight. Fortunately, it quiets down after midnight.

30 minutes after the check in time I was called and informed that they changed our reservation, lying it is similar apartment and in the same location. I booked a modern apartment in the city center Bergen and got an apartment far away - 20 minutes walk from the location I have booked. The location was awful in unsafe scratchy neighborhood - when we arrived the street was surrounded by police. Groups of weird people were mingling around, making a lot of noise and a scandal. This situation continued during our 2 nights stay. It seemed like a social housing area, dirty and unsafe. I was shocked - this was the only place I felt unsafe during our 3 weeks trip in Norway. Avoid booking this apartment - they post a nice photos of apartment in the city center, and alocate whatever they have available - old mold smelling apartment. Is not the same like in the photos on booking. Support was not helpful - no solution offered for this scam. They did not reply our messages.

Excellent spacious apartment, located well in Bergen. Fresh and clean, good sized kitchen, washing machine a huge bonus! Comfortable (but separate) single beds. Openable windows for breeze. Close to several supermarkets. A couch to relax on and a table to eat at, which makes a difference after staying in hotels.

The entry hall (outside the apartment) was a little dingy and smelt. We had to pick up the keys in a separate location, however as we were walking from the train station it was on the way. There were also stairs to the accom - which didn't really bother us however, I'd imagine this would be more of a pain with suitcases (we had backpack).

The location was very convenient, but it didn't seem to be the best area of town, although I felt safe anyway. The apartment was very nice and clean.

I tried to contact the property to ask for support and never received a reply. I’ve received extensive messages of how to pick up keys, how to clean the apartment, etc. with threatening fines in case of non compliance. However, when asking support, nobody replied. The towel they gave me was probably bad quality and was loosing white pieces which ended up on my body and clothes. When I did my laundry, all my black clothes - washed separately- were full of white hairs, and I could not wear them anymore. they had probably washed the towel there beforehand. They provide only one small pillow so if you have any need for pillows, they won’t reply.

Well appointed

Key retrieval was extremely poor. Codes didn’t work on some rooms so keys weren’t delivered. Help had to be contacted for manual key retrieval. Accomodation was considerable distance from where the key box was. We booked a place with a lift and were allocated a place without a lift. As 70 year olds lugging suitcases up 3 flights of stairs is not ideal.

I liked the apartment - it was just getting the keys and being able to contact someone was difficult.

The stairs between the 7th and the 8th floor were tortuous for a 74 year old female who had two new knees.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, clean and very comfortable apartment. Everything was good and it was very nice to have all the amenities in the apartment. It is spacious and very modern. All arrangements with the pick up address of the key as well as the key codes were communicated in advance. Definately recommended for fellow travellers. All and all a perfect place to stay for a few days in Bergen.

The key pickup is at a different appartment which is difficult by car in a city. After the booking you are directed to another platform “Forenom” and they have other rules than Booking, for example there suddenly was a different time for the check in and check out. This platform will also ask you to send private documents such as your passport.

Has pretty much all you need.

I'm a light sleeper so I would prefer better sealing windows, which let quite a bit of noise from the street in. Also maybe windows could have blinds or atleast curtains along with the drapes.

Very convenient to shops, easy walk to core of Bergen and extremely convenient to board Havila cruises.

Instructions to collect keys were easy but a bit out of our way, cost us $120 for a taxi from airport because needed to go get keys (my wife couldn't walk far at the time).
