The property is just as it looks in the pictures. It was a dream stay. Location is close to everything in Canggu but also back from the crazy busy streets. Staff are attentive and Wipa looked after us, he was great if any issue arose. We got scooters delivered straight to our rooms on check in for a fair price which was appreciated.

De villa zelf was mooi ingericht. De hoge ceiling in de slaapkamer oogt luxe. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk!

De regendouche is niet handig, de airco die gericht is op het bed en het zou beter geweest moesten er gordijnen zijn boven.

Jeri and Resma were absolutely wonderful! They were both very kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel so welcome and truly made our experience even better. Thank you both for the amazing hospitality! 🤍

Exactly as pictured, staff and service is truly above and beyond. Almost wanted to cancel the rest of our trip and stay here !

Loved it, such a great location and spot. The only issue we found was that our pool and courtyard area had very little sun due to the trees for privacy so we understand why.

The staff were genuinely exceptional and went so far out of their way to be helpful to us. The villa itself was absolutely beautiful and exactly like the photos online. Canggu is quite a loud town and this villa was in a really nice little pocket where you couldn’t hear all of hustle and bustle but still really close to everything you could need. I would go back there in a heartbeat, I’ve never had a better experience.

ACHTUNG BRANDGEFAHR!! Während unseres Aufenthalts hat plötzlich die Steckdose direkt neben unserem Bett angefangen zu funken. Innerhalb weniger Sekunden hat der Nachttisch gebrannt. Zum Glück hat mein Freund sofort reagiert und das Feuer mit einem Schlauch aus dem Badezimmer gelöscht. Ich möchte ehrlich gesagt gar nicht daran denken, was passiert wäre, wenn wir zu dem Zeitpunkt geschlafen hätten oder niemand im Zimmer gewesen wäre. Besonders erschreckend fanden wir, dass kein Brandalarm ausgelöst wurde. Nach diesem Erlebnis hatten wir einfach nur noch Angst, dort weiter zu übernachten. Als wir das Personal gefragt haben, ob wir die restlichen Nächte stornieren und unser Geld zurückbekommen können, wurde das kategorisch abgelehnt. Stattdessen wollte man uns einfach in die direkt danebenliegende, baugleiche Unterkunft umquartieren. Nach so einem Vorfall hatten wir dafür natürlich überhaupt kein Vertrauen mehr und haben uns auf eigene Kosten eine neue Unterkunft gesucht. Noch enttäuschender war, dass später sogar versucht wurde, uns die Schuld für den Brand zu geben, obwohl wir ganz genau gesehen haben, dass die Funken aus der Steckdose kamen. Meine Powerbank lag auf dem Nachttisch und hat sich durch das Feuer ebenfalls entzündet – sie war jedoch nicht der Auslöser des Brandes, sondern wurde erst durch die Flammen erfasst. Wir sind einfach nur froh, dass niemand verletzt wurde. Nach so einem Erlebnis hätten wir uns deutlich mehr Verständnis und Entgegenkommen vom Personal gewünscht. Stattdessen wurden wir mit unseren Sorgen allein gelassen und mussten die Kosten für eine neue Unterkunft selbst tragen. Für uns war das eine wirklich beängstigende Erfahrung und wir können diese Unterkunft leider überhaupt nicht empfehlen.

The hot water was on a water tank and couldn’t have a hot shower properly.

The state of the villa was quite poor and not the cleanest. The stairs are actually pretty dangerous and there are plenty of spaces where bugs and mosquitoes can come in. Bedsheets were so thin I could see through them. Left after checking out and am still waiting on a partial refund.

La villa est super jolie et très bien placés mais malheureusement mal entretenue, Cela manque clairement de finitions … Porte de la salle de bain complètement rouiller, pas de volets dans la chambre donc le réveil a 6h30 est comme obligatoire … La villa reste néanmoins bien placer par rapport au marchés et au restaurant ! Je trouve ça trop cher pour la qualité de la villa !

We had a fantastic stay! The facility was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday. Great amenities, a relaxing atmosphere, and an excellent location. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Mr Jerii, the manager is an incredible human being! We’ve stayed at both of the Black Sand Villas in Canggu. We came back for a second stay largely due to his exceptionally attentive and kind hospitality. This time around my wife & I was ere celebrating our honeymoon, he recognised us from a year ago from our stay at the Echo Beach location - he then proceeded to congratulate us on our marriage & organised a beautiful floral arrangement for us! Stunning villas, excellent location with warm & welcoming staff that keep the place in great order. Speedy & efficient villa maintenance, they even come in late afternoon to do a final sweep, set the bed, draw the blinds & do a mosquito treatment. No issues whatsoever with cleanliness, pests or bugs. Not even a single mosquito. Highly recommend! Be sure to say hi to the legend, Mr Jerii! 👏

We had an amazing time at the Blacksand Villas, thanks to the lovely staff! The location is very central, but quiet and we didn’t have any issues with mosquitos etc. as someone came daily to spray, take out trash etc. Overall, the apartments are very well taken care of! We liked the open / stylish architecture a lot

We had a very pleasant stay at Basacksamd Villas in Canggu. The villa was very clean, beautifully designed, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. The location is also excellent — there are many great restaurants within walking distance, and with a scooter you can easily reach everywhere in Canggu. The villa can also arrange scooter rentals directly, which was very convenient for us. The only thing to keep in mind is the pool size. It’s more like a small cooling or decorative pool rather than a proper swimming pool, so it’s better not to expect too much from it. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Everything is wonderful. The location is incredibly central, and the staff are very helpful. Most importantly, there are no bugs. Maybe that’s because of the season, but we were really surprised and impressed.

The property was perfect, Had a little problem on check in but it was resolved quickly and effectively by Jerry. Staff here was super friendly and helpful. The sunken seating area was very comfortable. I really liked opening all the windows and getting a good breeze going through the place. You ootta go to Tucker for breakfast, it’s right around the corner. Glad we had Widi to take us to our next location as it was hard to find as well.

This was my first trip to Bali and as such we had a hard time finding the location. A sign at the last turn would be helpful.

The service and housekeeping were great. Risma made sure that our rooms were always cleaned and cool for when we got back after a long day out. She even took the time to fold little towel animals that were placed on our bed each evening to greet us when we got back. Lovely girl, always with a smile on her face. Our driver Widi was very kind and friendly and always made sure to point out good restaurants or must-visit places along the way. All in all, wonderful staff at Blacksand Villas.

Tiles look a little old and worn out so it could be mistaken for uncleanliness. However, staff were very proactive with the housekeeping.

Отличное место, стильная, просторная вилла. Очень чисто. Персонал очень заботливый. Если что то нужно, то моментально реагируют в ватсапе и делают всё возможное. Расположение супер, в самом центре чангу, но на тихой улочке, всё рядом.

Если вам дадут самую первую виллу и будет сильный ветер, то на втором этаже жалюзи будут постоянно летать. Мы подкладывали подушки ночью, что бы они не бились об окно. Плюс в других виллах солнце светит прям на бассейн и от этого он нагревается. + можно загорать. Но в первой вилле из за зелени это невозможно. И бассейн холодный, так как солнце не попадает. Но это только в передней вилле. Так всё было супер😍

Me and my partner absolutely loved our stay at Blacksand Villa. The place is honestly wonderful. It is super clean, very comfortable, and easily one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in. The location is also perfect since everything is close by, which made getting around really easy and convenient. Communication with the staff was smooth the whole time, which we really appreciated. Jeri was amazing and super friendly. He made everything so easy for us, gave great recommendations on where to go, and was just genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it’s a solid 10/10. Can’t recommend it enough 🤍

We loved the location it was walking distance to cafes bars and restaurants . Comfortable bed and pillows,villa clean. Staff that greeted us were friendly . Big and spacious room. The staff were so helpful and friendly, Jerry managed our stay perfectly, he made sure we had everything we needed and always checked in with a smile. Absolutely no issues, the place was so clean, very modern earthy lay out. The air conditioning worked so well. Stocked up constantly with fresh towels and linen.

We were so lucky that we had an entire month in Bali in which we started at Blacksand Villas and then finished our time there. The location is fantastic, close to everything relevant but still quiet and local out their front door. The villas (we experienced 2 different properties ) were immaculate and lavish. Everything from start to finish feels 100% First Class. Now the most important part of our experience was the staff. In total we spent 2 weeks here separated by two weeks in between. Every person on staff were exceptional . The professionalism and attentiveness was consistent and constant. We want to express our deepest appreciation for all of the staff with a special individual recognition of an incredible young woman called Risma. What a shining star!

Had a lovely stay here at these villas! Jerry is a legend! Super nice. Will be back soon :))

Nice property in Canggu, good location and walkable to nearby restaurants.

The pool is SMALL! Much smaller than anticipated and doesn’t clearly show this in the pictures. Be warned, there is very little actually pool space.

Was a modern villa with a nice "modern bali villa" design. I loved the conversation pit lounge and the ensuite bathroom was cool! It was also like a 2 minutes gojek to all the amazing restaurants in Canggu.

#1 thing i disliked is the beds. They are rock hard. I woke up every morning with lower back spasms and im 22 years old...there were also alot of mosquitos so be sure to use the provided insect spray, we didn't and we copped it bad.

Lovely villa! Great location. Only a short walk to the main road for restaurants, cafes and shops. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

Can get very noisy at night time. Our villa was right next to the driveway so could hear scooters coming all night. The pavers on the driveway were loose so this made extra noise when they were driven over. Wifi in the villa was terrible. Had to use my phone data majority of the time because it kept cutting out.

Villa was new and clean, comfortable to stay. Check in was easy and we arrived by taxi, address on google maps is accurate and the taxi can stop at the doorstep where staff can meet you for check in. Location is central and near to shops.

The villa was noisy at times, especially if neighbours are talking loudly. Cleanliness of the shower was generally good but can be improved.

I adored absolutely everything, from the moment I checked in, the villa to checking out. Such a great value for money, really what a catch. Thank you Jari for the hospitality!
