⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent stay at Woodland Vista! We stayed here as a group of 6 and had a really great experience. The property has 5 bedrooms — 3 on the top floor and 2 on the ground floor. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the bathrooms were excellent. The kitchen was amazing and well equipped, which was perfect for our group. The property is in a calm and peaceful location, just around 50 metres from the main road. Stores and shops are also conveniently located nearby. The complimentary breakfast was a lovely addition, and they also prepare food if you need it, which was very convenient. Overall, it was a comfortable, peaceful, and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended for families and groups! We would definitely love to stay here again. ❤️

Nice place & facility alot, everyth was good, place clean, comfortable place to stay, tv, wifi all good. bfast is good but can improve by providing tea/coffee to the guest. other than that all was good, very very lovely place, surely will visit next year again and choose this place again . highly reccomended

The location is extremely convenient—situated right near the highway and just a 15-minute drive from Kumily town, making it easily accessible while still offering a peaceful atmosphere. What truly stood out was the service; the staff were exceptionally cooperative and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Our stay at Woodland Vista Homestay was absolutely wonderful. It offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle while still being conveniently close to all the main attractions in Thekkady. ​The rooms were spotlessly clean, incredibly spacious.What truly made our stay memorable, however, was the exceptional hospitality. The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, helping us with local recommendations. ​It’s quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to the town center. It was an exceptionally beautiful, well maintained Villa. From the moment I booked the Villa, Mr.Manoj kept in touch and gave us all the details about the best way to enjoy the local attractions and was ready to help with booking tickets for various events. He personally welcomed us when we arrived. Each time we called him with any queries ,he always answered our calls and helped us with whatever we needed . It was really such a nice experience to have Mr Manoj who took care of all our needs like a family member. Usually there is no personal touch in most villas. Coming to the villa, I never expected such a beautiful, well maintained, new villa. So artistically decorated. Beautiful ambience . Large bedrooms ,clean toilets , beautiful balconies and sit outs. Beautiful dining room ,kitchen and a large sitting room with a TV and channels of all languages. Good wi-fi , inveter incase of power cuts . This villa is a steal for the rate we were charged. Too good to be true. I have travelled many places in India and abroad but for this rate ,such a beautiful Villa , unbelievable. Enough car parking space . Nisha ,the maid was always with a smile. Prepared our sumptous breakfast . A very good place for families and friends to have a pleasant get together. I would surely recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Thekkady . Mr. Manoj sir supported us by sharing all the required details well in advance via WhatsApp. This helped us to plan our stay hassle-free. He was reachable for all kinds of assistance. We booked the entire villa for a day. This property was outstanding in terms of luxury, cleanliness, and budget friendliness—a spacious property with a large parking lot. The kids liked it very much and enjoyed it a lot. The 24-hour hot water supply, aesthetic sofa, kitchen, balcony, Wi-Fi, and TV made our stay very comfortable. The interior decoration was very attractive, with spacious bedrooms and attached restrooms being the best feature of this property.

He guided us on what can be done in the timeline over there , when to arrive and where all to go.The jeep driver that he arranged was very helpful and friendly.We can park nearly 5 to 6 cars in the property safely.This property is suitable for people who are looking to travel with family at an affordable cost especially a group up to 5 families and stay together and explore Thekkady.

It is 20 mins away from Kumali town. So PPL who want to stay very close to town ,this property is not advised.

Place, environment, owner of the property

Everything was just perfect.

Property location was very nice. Nearby no hotels available. And manoj provided breakfast And mr.manoj so co operative. Kind person. I feel bed and bedsheet not comfortable for me i have informed to him change bedsheet white colour . property managed by his parents only. And the washbasin in the attached bathroom no hot water coming only cool water.

We were group of 6 with 2 kids as well. Everyone liked the stay The house was clean and beautiful and we felt like home. All small small things were arranged and in place. Parents of the host stay nearby and were there to arrange for cleaning and provide us breakfast etc. They were very helpful. The host Mr.Manoj also provided us with all To-Do things and activities in and around Thekkady, restaurant contacts for food delivery. Overall super experience as this was a combination of superb property and wonderful hosts - Highly recommended for all.

Went to thekkady for a 2 day trip. Stayed at Woodland vista and felt like home. Very neat and luxury feel. They provided complementary homely breakfast ( 1st day : Appam and stew, 2nd day idli with sambhar and chutney) . The food was tasty and felt like home. They povided towels, slippers in front of all bathrooms. Bathrooms had heaters. The kitchen had plates and basic utensils. The best part of the stay was the co-operation of Mr Manoj and his family. Guided us with all the necessary informations ( recommendations on places to visit, good hotels nearby, hotel menus, Good road routes Jeef safari contacts etc) without hestitation. We highly recommend this property.

The house was very clean and big enough for 5 people. Each room had attached bathroom and the beddings were comfortable. Had a nice stay.

Hot water was coming only for few seconds and used to get cold water after some time. Would have been nice if we knew where tea coffee sachets were kept.
