The sound of motor boats , ferries etc inspite of the balcony doors being totally closed was really annoying and disturbing during nights especially when I was trying to sleep

We had a wonderful four-night stay in August 2026 at Barceló in Malé. Our panoramic sea-view room was absolutely amazing, with breathtaking views across the Indian Ocean and the surrounding islands. Loved the shower and hygiene and daily cleaning of our room. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with so many attractions nearby, including the National Museum, Republic Square and Sultan Park, to name just a few. We loved being able to explore, shop, discover local sights and enjoy the many restaurants close by. It was a great base for experiencing Malé and everything this vibrant city has to offer. The rooftop swimming pool was fantastic, as was the bar, where we relaxed in the evenings and enjoyed delicious cuisine and a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were excellent, warm and hospitable throughout our stay. I would like to thank everyone at Barceló for making our stay so special and memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Malé and would be delighted to return.

1) Влажность в номерах очень сильная, постель очень влажная а дети спать не смогли нормально. Не знаю местные стандарты но показалось что не тянет на 5 звезд отель за свои деньги, но к сожалению альтернатив нет (5 звезд). 2) В одной из комнат пол был полностью мокрый (протекала вода) 3) На просьбу поменять чайник, так и никто не пришел

Отель выделяется на фоне грязи столицы. Отличные панорамные балконы. На 15 этаже есть открытый бассейн. Ничего особенного, но время скоротать можно. Хороший завтрак. До аэропорта 10 минут на такси.

The front desk and customer service team and its leadership is outstanding. This property stands out as a real top performer in Male. The rooms are excellent, location is great and the food in the restaurants and coffee shop is fantastic!

I had a great time at the hotel..this is my third time, and I got a free upgrade, and the suit was amazing.i had the most beautiful view of the sea. All the staff were kind and helpful. The receptionist Nazar was amazing. He got me upgraded twice from a superior room to a suit. The buffet breakfast was my favourite part. Thank you for everything 😊 ❤️ ♥️

The entire staff is superbly professional and very accommodating. On our first night, there was noise from a nearby construction site that was working during the night. We requested a room change, and the supervisor immediately showed us alternative rooms - and facilitated our move. This, amongst several other thoughtful touches, made our stay exceptional. We are definitely returning for our next stay, and we will consider their residences for any longer term work-related visits. Breakfast is excellent, the roof-top is one-of-a-kind, the spa is incredible! You will not find a hotel near this quality in Male!

Great location, ocean front views, new property & well designed, tried the roof top restaurant which was very nice but the highlight was the dinner at Don’s the Chinese restaurant which was high quality authentic Chinese food.

Nothing in particular except that the road right in front of the property is under construction hence there is a short walk along with luggage.

Building works at front of property noisy day and night

Shampoo, body soap, hand soap were good. Shower facility was good. Bed was comfortable. View was good.

Air conditioner was too noisy. Window glass was not clean enough. Hair dryer was not provided in default. Outside was noisy from early morning. One of the staff always made me confused.

Modernes Hotel, sehr gute Ausstattung und schmackhaftes Buffett.

Was sehr schlecht war, dass vor dem Hotel eine grosse Baustelle war, auf der Tag und Nacht mit sehr grossem Lärm gearbeitet wurde. Am Hauspool war es unerträglich laut, im Hotelrestaurant ebenfalls. Schade, denn ohne diesen Lärm wäre das Hotel wirklich sehr gut gewesen.

Kurze fahrt zum Flughafen und auch um das Zentrum von Malè zu Fuss zu besuchen. Sehr schöne Roof-Top Bar mit toller Live-Musik und Blick auf Male und das Meer!

I den første værelse , er der væggelus over det hele. Så blev vi flyttet til øverst etage samme værelse , den er meget bedre , men vi har brugt hele dagen for at få en ny værelse , personalerne gør ikke meget for at hjælpe os.

Nazar was amazing with us, he is a very hard worker and tries his best to make sure you're happy and comfortable, he gave us a free upgrade due to our room not being ready yet and let us have a free massage. The breakfast was really nice, lots or variety, very efficient and consistent. Very clean room, spacious room and bathroom.

Quite expensive When you had a shower you would never have any hot water. During breakfast, staff gave me a cup of tea but it had lots of bits floating around and the table clothes were dirty from previous people who had sat there before, I thought they would change and reset the table for the next person given that this hotel is 5 star. Swimming pool is always at capacity, don't expect to get a lounger if you haven't claimed one very early morning, there's also less loungers than there appears to be in the pictures which doesn't help either, so unfortunately over 3 days I was never able to use the pool.

The hotel was bright and modern. The staff all pleasant and friendly and the breakfast buffet excellent!

The hotel doesn’t have a licenced bar and soft drinks and mock tails are really expensive.

Es war auch in der Nacht sehr laut & die sauberkeit des Badezimmer hat noch Potenzial

Die Angestellten waren außergewöhnlich engagiert, besonders Nazar, der uns mit seinem Privathandy sogar einen Hotspot für schnelles Internet öffnete - das ist nicht selbstverständlich. Damit konnten wir letzlich dann während der Irankrise neue Flüge buchen. Das Zimmer war sauber, modern, renoviert , die Lage des Hotels direkt am Fährterminal in Male, ca. 5 Taximinuten vom Flughafen entfernt

Obsługa to nieporozumienie. Długie kolejki do recepcji, długi czas oczekiwania. Dodatkowo zapłaciliśmy za pokój rodzinny a dostaliśmy zwykły. Obsługa wciskała nam kit że pokój jest droższy z pięknym widokiem.. widok ciężko nazwać pięknym.. był to widok na port rozładunkowy czyli non stop hałas .. przy zameldowaniu nikt nie poinformował nas gdzie w ogóle możemy zjeść śniadanie oraz o której godzinie. W sumie nie poinformowano nas o niczym.. Zameldowanie miało być o 14 a pokój otrzymaliśmy około 15 po zrobieniu awantury.
