The property wasn’t clean, the bedsheets had stains and when I asked for a clean one the care taker said he cleaned it this morning itself which indirectly made us feel he didn’t want us to change the sheets. Despite of it I still asked for the bedsheets. We booked a non AC room, the room was clean but just next to the doom there’s a small sitting area, the inmates and some people who looks like had been staying there for quite a long period had been continuously smoking and playing loud music, making it difficult for the inmates unable to sleep. Thereafter we decided to shift to AC room thinking it’s sound proof, yes after shifting we didn’t get the smell of cigarettes and continuous sound of music but the room wasn’t clean. I requested the care taker to clean it but he just clean it for name sake which was visible. There were dust and used tissues under the bed. Decided to clean it by myself. Be it daytime or at night there’s music playing continuously and smell of cigarettes. We also had a long tiring journey and brought food to eat it in the small hall in the hostel we didn’t wanted to disturb the inmates since we reach late around 10:30pm but on the table where we should we sitting and eating I found dirty socks laying under the table mat. It was extremely disgusting.

Have stayed there before also, this was my second stay. Stay was comfortable. Recommended.

Cleanliness is the major issue i have seen there, Everywhere it was smelling cigaratte, they should assign a specific location to smoke not everywhere. For female it is gonna be little bit challenging because there was no changing room and curtain in bunk bed.

As a solo woman traveler, I truly appreciate the sense of safety and comfort during my stay. The hostel is in a convenient, easily accessible, and peaceful location. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always helpful. I also appreciate the excellent drinking water facility, the unexpected convenience of having access to a shared kitchen, and the bedside charging points, which made the stay even more comfortable.

This is purely a suggestion from the perspective of a solo woman traveler. I felt the women's dormitory would offer greater privacy and a stronger sense of security if it were located inside the main building, similar to the mixed and men's dormitories. I also found the designated smoking area near the entrance, close to the women's dormitory, a little uncomfortable, as cigarette smoke often drifted into the room. Having the smoking zone a little farther away from the women's dorm would make the stay more comfortable for guests who prefer a smoke-free environment.

Bed was clean, bathroom spotless

Booked for a night got the cheapest 8 bed dormitory, room is big beds are nice bathroom clean, the Air conditioning wasn't working well i didn't expect air conditioning at that price, now the reason for one star would be I was assigned a bed right behind the wall of their hangout area where they sit and have fun, when you book a room for the night you expect at the least peaceful sleep which in my case was no where in sight the constant chattering laughing shifting, accidentally banging on the glass window doesn't let one sleep easily so there I was wide awake till 5 when they finally decided to call it a night, what I found most rhetorical was they had a notice on their bathroom door mentioning to be mindful of others as this is a shared space, I only hope they take the sentence seriously a bit, also I just remembered the cheapest room bathroom is a I guess a common bathroom because everyone was using it.

This hostel is amazing. The best in Guwahati. Everything about this place is beautiful and peaceful. Worth it

Girls dorm doesn’t have separate bathroom or changing room. 1 common bathroom and 1 in mixed dorm. So much cigarettes and very much dirty

Ich bin in dem hostel für 3 Tage eingekehrt und wäre gerne länger geblieben! Ich wurde herzlich empfangen, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr bemüht und aufmerksam. Es wird jeden Tag geputzt. Man kann die Küche (sehr gut ausgestattet) mitbenutzen. Am Tage und Abend kann man im Wohnzimmer oder draußen auf der Terrasse chilln. Als ich da war haben wir eine kleine Bihu - Jamsession gemacht mit den Freunden des Besitzers. Ein ziemlich guter Ort für Alleinreisende, da mal super schnell in Kontakt mit den locals und weiteren Backpackern kommt. Der Besitzer ist Super freundlich und hilfsbereit und gibt einen gute Tips für die weitere Reise! Danke für diesen tollen Aufenthalt! Ich komme wieder
