Gute Lage, Frühstück hatten wir im beschaulichen Ort Waterville

L'appartamento di Nikki è gestito da Marta che è molto precisa nel fornire le indicazioni e risponde velocemente ai messaggi. Al nostro arrivo ci ha accolto con il necessario per una colazione e spiegato il funzionamento del riscaldamento da parte di un boiler per avere l'acqua calda. La casa è molto grande: 8 posti letto, 3 bagni completi, un'ampia sala da pranzo e un comodo salotto, oltre che un bel giardino che a causa della pioggia non abbiamo potuto sfruttare. E' una casa molto bella, arredata in modo molto confortevole e con letti particolarmente comodi. In casa abbiamo trovato il necessario per la prima colazione e la dotazione di cucina era più che sufficiente.

In cucina la cappa di aspirazione era molto sporca e abbiamo avuto un piccolo disagio. Il costo del consumo elettrico è stato calcolato a parte (ho speso 17 euro per 4 giorni/4 notti, avendo dovuto utilizzare la lavatrice e l'asciugatrice e l'acqua calda per la doccia).

Everything worked very well. It took us a little while to figure out to plan the water heater but after that all good

The property was very homely, everything worked well and the living room, the sofa and the open fire made the stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

I can’t think of anything important to be honest. I thought the property was of a good standard throughout .

The beds and the duvets are amazing. Loved the layout and the decor, very nicely done out. Short walking distance but nice a quiet (well apart from the wind lol!)

Bit of a shame small things like washing up liquid, cooking oil etc weren't supplied.

Fan house in brilliant location. Very clean and comfortable beds!

The flexibility and communication with hosts and overall cleanliness and style of home was amazing! The backyard picnic table and clothesline were also great!

We ran out of TP and 2 dish towels wasn’t sufficient for a family of 6 for 2 nights (more cloth or paper towels would have been nice).

We stayed at 1 Carrigeanna for five nights in July 2025. One of our group of five adults completed the Hardman Waterville Triathalon. The location was perfect for the event, just a few minutes from Waterville Beach. For the rest of the time we enjoyed walking, sightseeing, sea swimming and great local food. The house location was ideal, just ten minutes walk from the village and a well stocked Centra. There is lots of space indoors to relax if it rains and the garden has seating for the sunshine. Everything was well maintained and comfortable. The owner and local caretaker were very communicative and helpful. We would highly recommend the house for a stay in beautiful Waterville.

Electric heaters

The house was very family friendly, cosy and in a pretty good location for beaches and town centre. Nothing was more than a 10-15 minute walk. Very comfortable beds and decent family lounge area infront of a very appealing open fire.

The only issue for us as it was a winter stay was the lack of central heating. We relied on the fire place and plug in heaters supplied by the house. There was underfloor heating in the house down stairs but we never used it
