L emplacement ( le tuktuk nous a demandé plus pour y arriver ) Les 2 ventilateurs pour 5. Nous avons eu chaud. Les moustiques. Rien ne séchait.

Me encantó el sitio, los animales, estar como en tu pequeña jungla particular..una fantasía para los amantes de la naturaleza y los animales. Todo el personal super cercano y agradable viajaba sola y me sentí como en casa.

Perfekt läge med bara en kort promenad längs vattnet till de mer myllrande delarna. Lugnt och lummigt med en stor terrass. Charmigt med getter och höns utanför, det var även apor som kom för att äta av mango som ramlat från träden. God och bra frukost. Mycket trevlig personal!

Great place 5 minutes walk from El Nido and super quiet and relaxing. Amazing site, very green and with friendly and funny farm animals. Team is super friendly helpful and welcoming. Definitely the best place to be so close to El Nido and still away from the noise of the night life noise. Just like being in the countryside.

Occorre una premessa: o ami il resort o lo odi, senza vie di mezzo. È fuori mano dal centro di El Nido a cui si arriva da una stradina non asfaltata, di cui il tratto finale è di fatto una stretta lingua di spiaggia: quando piove e c'è alta marea si passa solo a piedi ma è un disastro. Il resort è come una fattoria, piena di animali come capre, galline, faraone, ecc.. Vivono anche cani, gatti e una mucca. Quando piove si allaga una parte e sbucano tante rane. Purtroppo gli animali sono il bello e il brutto perchè, per es., le galline entrano spesso in cucina. Dale foto sembra sulla spiaggia ma non è affatto così. WiFi molto,.molto, molto scarso: quasi inutile.

Sale et Inconfortable. Mauvaise gestion de la propriétaire . A notre arrivée , nous apprenons que le logement réservé n est pas disponible. Nous attendons un retour en vain de Booking. Car la propriétaire ne validera jamais le problème auprès du site. Finalement la propriétaire nous propose un logement .. les draps sont marqués de caca d oiseau.. nous refusons la chambre . Toujours pas de solution de booking. Nous cherchons un autre logement par nos propres moyens . Rien est disponible. L hôte propose une chambre de 3 lits pour 4 personnes! Aucune réduction accordée et 28€ de compensation par booking!

Nikko and Eileen were the best! They made us feel at home right away, and the animals on the property made the whole stay feel really special. The location is ideal if you want to stay near El Nido without dealing with the crowds and mass tourism.

The facilities and the room are quite basic and not modern (which was fine for us, but it’s good to know in advance).

Tout était nickel, l’endroit est magnifique et très bien entretenu, l’accueil des hôtes parfaits, les chambres sont grandes et très propres et seulement à 5/7min à pied du centre (donc plus au calme que dans le centre) et la balade est agréable pour rejoindre le centre. Les petits déjs sont disponibles simples mais très bons.

Die Unterkunft liegt 7 min Strandspaziergang vom Zentrum El Nidos entfernt. Optimal. Die Cottages liegen im Grünen, Ziegen, Hennen und 1 Kuh laufen herum, richtig idyllisch. Das Personal ist superfreundlich und ehrlich mit den Preisen, haben günstige Mopeds ausgeliehen😍

- The whole place is dirty (sorry to say): in the room there is Gekko (?) poop on the floor and even once on my mattress, outside there is a lot of poop from the other animals, in the kitchen there are chicken and cats on the table,… - No internet connection at all: the WiFi does not work (even when connected), no mobile data connection - we had a lot of mosquitos and 2 (!) frogs in our room - the road to downtown El Nido is flooded during high tide (no taxi) - in the morning it is very noisy because of the roosters

Zeer behulpzame en sympathieke verantwoordelijke. Ontspannen sfeer. Mooie grote kamer met ramen die voorzien zijn van horren tegen de muggen. Goede verluchting mogelijk. Prachtige tuin. Uitgebeid ontbijt met vers fruit. Een oase van rust op wandelafstand van El Nido.

We did receive an upgrade to an air-conditioned room, and the staff on-site is friendly, although they do not speak English.

Unfortunately, our stay at High Chapel Cottages was quite disappointing and did not meet expectations. Communication with the owner was extremely poor—despite sending around five messages via Booking.com and WhatsApp, we received no reply at all. We later learned that the owner has been abroad since August due to personal circumstances, which seems to explain the lack of response and the decline in management. The property itself shows clear signs of damage from recent typhoons. There is a large swamp-like area on the grounds that attracts many mosquitoes, and parts of the resort have not yet been cleaned up or maintained. Animals walk freely across the property, which could create a charming atmosphere, but unfortunately the droppings are not cleaned, making the area feel neglected. The eating and breakfast area also looks quite run-down, and we didn’t feel comfortable dining there. The Wi-Fi barely works. Overall, the price-quality ratio was far below what we expected, and it resulted in a rather negative experience.

Did not like anything. Left after 1st night.

Not in a good location. Very dated. No fridge or bottled water. Had to ask for a kettle. Bedding didn't match and looked really old and worn. Woke up to a power cut as there was no generator. Found a nice hotel, good location and moved.

Nitz and the staff here were so friendly and helpful. It felt like a home away from home. I loved the animals, the breakfast was good, the location was nice in that there were lots trees and felt like an oasis in the craziness and concrete of El Nido and it was only a short walk around the bluff from the main part of El Nido. I walked alone at night and felt completely safe. The ensuite bathroom was huge in my room and it was nice to have flushing toilets. The AC worked really well. They did my washing, had great restaurant recommendations and even let me try cashew fruit.

My room wasn't massively sound proofed from the people next door who were VERY inconsiderate noise wise. Nitz then spoke to them and they were more normal and quieter after that, which helped, but just in case you get bad neighbours, I'd bring ear plugs.

Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Big room, no air con but the fans were plenty good enough. Love the location just around the corner from town. Lots of goats and farm animals added to the experience.

Great location - just far enough from the hustle and bustle but still walkable. Niz was great, very approachable and we were very happy with the tours/bike we rented. Our laundry was the cleanest we've ever had it - the girls did a great job.

The shower was awful - the pressure was very poor and I ended up having to rinse out the conditioner under the bathroom tap!

Great location, within walking distance to town. Nits and her hubby were super friendly and hospitable. Kids loved the goats. Room had everything we needed.

We had a lovely stay at High Chaparral Cottages! Very peaceful place surrounded by beautiful nature, conveniently located 10 min away from the hustle and bustle of El Nido. The bungalow was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious! There was a little farm, which we especially enjoyed as animal lovers. Made friends with an adorable baby goat! However my most favourite part were the lovely owners - they were super welcoming and helped us book activities. It was very nice to sit down at breakfast and have a little chat about life with Nitz and Hans. Felt like visiting family! Thank you for the amazing time. Hopefully, we will be back!

Very nice location, in a quiet part of El Nido but only 5 minutes walking from the main centre. The hosts are welcoming and serve a tasty breakfast. Good restaurants close by as well.

Had an excellent stay. Nitz and Antz are great hosts with good local knowledge, and were helpful in booking scooters/tours etc. Extended stay by two nights

The owners and all stuff are very kind! But the room was just ok.

We had an amazing time at High Chaparral Cottages coz it feels like home away from home. We were treated like family and were very well looked after. We love that the place is like a farm with the animals just casually roaming around the property. We arrived way too early for check in and since our room is not available yet, they made sure we’ll get some rest at one of their private places with the view of the beach.. we appreciated the recommendations and good conversations with the couple who own the place!

Great location, very large room. Hot water shower. Though chalet not air conditioned, the fans kept the room at very pleasant temperature. Large verandah outside, with comfortable seats to enjoy the garden view..

Had understood there was direct access to the beach which is not the case but not a great beach to stay at anyway. Also be aware of the presence of animals across the property (cow, goats, dogs, cats and many chickens). I love animals but just was not expecting a farm hence our disappointment. Recommendation to the hosts to fence the eating area and to prevent the cats to stay on the dining table when they are injured. Other recommendation to put a fan in the dining area to keep mosquitoes away. Final point is to make sure you have ear plugs unless you enjoy a nice 4am wake up call by the roosters!!

This is such a unique and wonderful property. Hosts were so welcoming, attentive and helpful. There were so many friendly animals roaming the property, if you are an animal lover, this is a very fun place! Breakfast was amazing and reasonably priced as well as very flexible (especially for those who like to sleep in a little bit on holiday.) Scooter rental, tricycle booking, island hopping tours etc can also be booked through hosts who were very helpful with making your stay as convenient and enjoyable as possible. Location was close to town but far enough that it was quiet. Less than 10 min walk (however, depending on the time of year, the tide can be high enough that you need to walk through the waves to get there. This isn’t bad though if you time it correctly) Nita and Hans were exceptional hosts. They even organized a surprise birthday breakfast with decorations and pancakes for my partner which was so special. We hope to come back one day!

Excellent location- right next to town but very quiet and lots of space. Staff were so helpful and friendly, and helped us book everything from boat trips to ferry tickets to scooters. Highly recommend

The location was close to the Town Square (about 5 mins walk). If you want to go to the beach, the shore was just across the street. It was relaxing seating on the front patio watching the animals.

No A/C and fridge. I would recommend an outdoor bug zapper and mosquito net for beds.

The wifi was very weak and intermittent... not reliable and not up to standard for the price. No aircon. The 2 fans provided did the job quite well.

Good location, in 5 minutes you are in El Nido Beach where all the restaurants, bars, etc. are. The hotel itself is situated in a quiet, large garden. Breakfast is good with lots of fresh fruit. You are surrounded by lots of animals. Hans and Nit are very helpfull and have a lot of good tips.

Internet just dont work there.. mobile coverage is also absent. Not possible to work online. But soon they will have starlink and things should improve. And in hot season AC is recommended, was hard with only fans.

Loved pretty much everything about High Chaparral. The owners, Nita and Hanz, are lovely and they have loads of animals around. The location is perfect, because you can get to town by 5 minute walk, there's a beach by the door of the property and it's quiet at night to get some good rest. I really would've loved to spend more time in this place, and enjoy more of their company and the beautiful baby goats they have around. They offer a great breakfast in the mornings, which they will accommodate to your needs (I'm vegetarian). I definitely recommend this place <3

Highly recommended...out of the ordinary...large piece of land...lots of trees...small animal farm with goats, all sorts of chicken, cow, cats and dogs, squirrels running up and down the trees, monkeys early morning on mango hunt...only 5-8 min walk form the huzzle and buzzle of downtown el nido...and the hosts r very, very friendly and hospitable...we had a wonderfull time!

Far enough from the hustle and bustle to feel super relaxed, close enough to access the town with a short waterfront stroll. Being on a mini farm keeps the kids entertained interacting with the animals. Rooms are a good size. The hosts are very hospitable, felt like being welcomed in by family - they take great care of you to even notice the small things like noticing which tea/bits of breakfast you prefer to tailor it more to your taste the next day.

Bathroom is functional but dated.

Amazing hospitality in a vast space, just a few minutes walk away from El Nido, yet far away from the tourist hubbub for peace and quiet. Rarely have we felt so warmly looked after as a family, we were sad to say good buy. The multiple free ranging animals were a huge bonus and joy to the kids, we were provided much assistance with arranging tours and other travel needs. We had an amazing time there! Also important to note was their supply of water as the property includes a well, tested yearly for drinking water quality, so where the rest of El Nido, even famed bars at prime locations was struggling with providing clean water to wash hands, we had no such concerns. I truly recommend this place, especially if looking for a simpler, quiet and enjoyable time with family

Breakfast, the hosts, how quiet it was, it was great to actually get some rest.

Internet was just so so, but from what I noticed, it was like that pretty much everywhere in El Nido.

We loved everything regarding the property but the staff was absolutely phenomenal! Everyone from Nita, Hans to Arleen and Boisy were incredible. From the minute we walked in we were treated like family. I loved the fact that they had the animals roaming around certain times of the day and my two year old was able to interact with them. Also loved their take on continental breakfast! Everything was great, just a 5 minute walk and you’re right by the beach.

Staff is very friendly and was super accommodating for us with checking at 5am even when booked only for next night. There is a lot of space and the baby goat is very cute.

The animals in the garden are very loud in the night - imagine roosters competing on who can cry louder at 3am, then again at 4am. Bring ear plugs. Water from the tap smells off. Taking a shower with this water is not so pleasant. No AC in most rooms.

Just on the edge of El Nido city center. You can enjoy all what El Nido has to offer without suffering form the down side of it. Nita and Hans, the owners, are extremely friendly and accessible making the stay even more enjoyable. It felt more like an air B and B than a cold hotel

My 4 year old loved it there! She had the best time roaming free around the property and playing with the animals! The location is great, 5’ walk from the city, the breakfast is also very good and the people are very friendly and accommodating!
