Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Tommaso was quick to communicate when needed, and didn't give us a hard time when we made a mess of being in the wrong apartment (which was entirely our fault). The apartment was in a good location in relation to the city centre and the bus/train stations, and included spacious rooms with the expected amenities. We found the WiFi and AirCon both worked well, with the latter being essential for a hot day, and the bathroom provided a shower with good water pressure and temperature. Important to note also is that the check-in and check-out procedures were easy, helped by Tommaso's communication. Overall, we felt it was an excellent value stay, and would be keen to return in the future if/when we visit Trieste again.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026I really liked the location of the apartment, very close to the train station and with easy access to the city’s main tourist attractions. The apartment was beautiful and comfortable, with all the rooms perfectly equipped. It was especially important to have air conditioning, as we had some very hot days. The host was attentive and helpful from the very first contact, and everything went exactly as I expected.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Die Lage der Unterkunft ist wirklich gut. Die Innenstadt ist schnell und bequem zu erreichen, was besonders für einen Aufenthalt in Triest praktisch ist. Positiv hervorzuheben ist auch die Möglichkeit, direkt am Bahnhof zu parken. Der Parkplatz kostet zwar 18 € am Tag, ist aber aufgrund der sehr begrenzten und teilweise schwer zu findenden Parkmöglichkeiten in Triest eine durchaus praktische Option. Gerade wer mit dem Auto anreist, weiß diese Möglichkeit zu schätzen.
Wir waren leider sehr enttäuscht von unserem Aufenthalt, insbesondere von der Sauberkeit und dem hygienischen Zustand der Unterkunft. Die Küchenzeile war bei unserer Ankunft extrem verschmutzt und machte nicht den Eindruck, gründlich gereinigt worden zu sein. In der Toilette herrschte zudem ein unangenehmer Geruch. Auch der vorhandene Reinigungsschwamm war offensichtlich noch vom vorherigen Gast benutzt worden. Einen neuen Schwamm haben wir erst auf Nachfrage erhalten. Besonders problematisch fanden wir, dass sich an mehreren Stellen im Schlafzimmer und im Badezimmer Schimmelstellen an den Wänden befanden. Das hat bei uns ein sehr ungutes Gefühl hinterlassen und entspricht aus unserer Sicht nicht dem Standard, den man von einer Unterkunft erwarten kann. Auch der Hinweis auf einen „Safe“ hat uns sehr enttäuscht. Bei dem sogenannten Safe handelte es sich lediglich um eine einfache Geldkassette, die nicht fest verankert war und die man problemlos hätte mitnehmen können. Für uns ist es daher irreführend, dies als Safe zu bezeichnen, da eine solche Geldkassette keinen wirklichen Schutz für Wertsachen bietet. Insgesamt hatten wir uns von der Unterkunft deutlich mehr erwartet. Die mangelnde Sauberkeit, die Schimmelstellen und die aus unserer Sicht irreführende Angabe zum „Safe“ haben unseren Aufenthalt leider sehr negativ beeinflusst. Wir würden die Unterkunft aufgrund unserer Erfahrungen nicht weiterempfehlen.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Das Zimmer wurde aufgrund der Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof/Busbahnhof gewählt, von der Station zur Unterkunft sind es ca. 5 Minuten und von der Unterkunft in die Altstadt ist es ein Katzensprung - günstig gelegen also für Reisende mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln.
Die Ankunft war problemlos, das Gebäude vom Hauptbahnhof aus rasch zu finden und der Schlüssel wurde an einem leicht zu findenden Ort hinterlegt, der vom Vermieter am Anreisetag per Mail bekanntgegeben wurde. Die Zimmer (4. Stock mit Lift, 2 mit Verbindungstür getrennte Räume) waren nicht groß, aber groß genug für 3 Personen, einfach eingerichtet, das Wesentliche vorhanden. Es gibt dann doch einige Abzüge, die dem Titel "Perfect Stay" nicht ganz gerecht werden: Die (ausziehbare) Schlafcouch im Wohnraum ist in die Jahre gekommen, quietscht bei jedem Umdrehen, auch der laut surrende Kühlschrank trugt dazu bei, dass das Kind nicht gut schlief. Da es sich um eine DG-Wohnung handelt, sind nur Dachlukenfenster vorhanden - natürlich bei Regen, aber auch bei bevorstehendem Regen nicht zu öffnen (bzw. schlossen sie sich, wohl aufgrund einer Regenwächter-Funktion, gleich wieder), was zu einer unangenehm stickigen Luft im Raum führt (funktionierende Klimaanlage ist vorhanden). Im Schlafzimmer 2 Nachtlampen, deren Funktion sich uns nicht erschlossen hat, da der Stecker der einen zu keiner Steckdose führt (nicht vorhanden) und die andere eingesteckt werden kann, aber durch die Steckdose direkt hinter der Matratze nicht einzuschalten ist (es sei denn, die Matratze bleibt angehoben). Der Teppich in der Küche ungustiös fleckig, das muss einfach nicht sein. Praktisch: Die Espressomaschine in der Küche und genügend Stauraum. Fazit: Gute Lage für Bahn/Busreisende, aber Luft nach oben.

Noi ci muovevamo con un van a 9 posti e l'entrata al parcheggio era un po' stretta, ma fattibile con qualche manovra. L'appartamento è ben tenuto e pulito. La separazione della doccia dalla toliette è comoda per un gruppo da 6 persone. Grazie al check-in autonomo siamo riusciti ad arrivare anche a tarda notte.
La comodità del divano letto non era il massimo.

Die tourist-tax betrug pro Person 3€ pro Nacht statt wie auf Booking angekündigt 2€. Die Schlafcouch war sehr unbequem und hat bei jeder Bewegung laut geknarzt.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026Heel gezellig appartement in het centrum van Triëste. In de keuken was alles aanwezig qua keukengerei. Er was 1 aparte kamer met een goed bed. In de woonkamer was : de keuken + sofabed en tafel+stoelen. Het is gevestigd in een mooi gebouw met lift. We hebben op voorhand alle info doorgekregen van de host, die zeer vriendelijk waren. Tof ingericht en modern.
Op 15 min wandelen heb je een openbare garage. De inrit + parkeerplekken in bijna al deze openbare garages zijn echter zoooooo krap !!!! Je moet echt een fantastische chauffeur zijn of een kleine auto hebben om hierin te parkeren. Met een grote auto is het rampzalig. Het appartement was gezellig, maar voor de prijs van 140 euro voor 1 nacht vonden we het veel te klein ( 12 euro toeristenbelasting was ter plaatse nog cash te betalen). We hebben ook moeten slapen in 30 graden aangezien de airco niet konden worden aangezet (de remotecontroller was verdwenen en de host deed spijtig genoeg niet de moeite om een reserve te komen brengen).

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026Die Nähe zum Bahnhof war für uns perfekt, weil wir nach unserer Radtour von Salzburg nach Grado bzw. Triest um 5.40 Uhr morgens zurück nach Salzburg fuhren. Das Appartment ist sehr groß, sehr sauber und mit Klimaanlage, was im heißen Sommer 2026 perfect war. Matteo war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Aufzug war super!
Die Duschwände gingen nicht richtig zu und die Silikonfugen sollten erneuert werden.

The apartment was spacious, spotless, and had everything listed in the description in excellent condition. We love that there are AC in bedroom and living room, spacious bathroom with easy to use washing machine, and cleaning supplies. We felt very safe during our stay. Piazza Unita is about a 15-minute walk away, and the nearest beach is around 15 minutes by bus. The host was easy to communicate with on WhatsApp and always responded quickly. The building has a lift, and the apartment's residents that we met were very friendly. Of all the places we've traveled to, I feel that Trieste has the nicest people in the world.

Richiede un po’ di ristrutturazione perché i condizionatori perdevano acqua e i muri e le porte ne hanno risentito. Inoltre bisogna cambiare la spugna dei piatti a ogni cambio di cliente (le spugne usate non sono igieniche). Sarebbe anche utile avere biancheria da cucina (canovacci e presine).

Reviewed May 20, 2026The apartment is big and furniture is quite new, nice bathroom, 2 TVs - for 3 people it was ideal. It is near the central bus station, the whole center can be reached by foot. The host reacted quickly in case of questions, everything easy. Parking is possible nearby - I used the garage at the bus station for 14,- per day. The host allowed early check-in - highly appreciated - thanks!!!
The window blinds of one room were closed and a sign showed that they are broken. So it was dark there. The park very close to the building (in front of the central bus station) was used as accomodation for homeless and in the evening there was a police operation with 4 police cars and plenty of police. Still I did not feel unsafe - I guess this was just bad luck.

Reviewed May 20, 2026Die Einrichtung des Apartments war gut, viel Platz für zwei Personen und für uns wichtig sehr ruhig. Die zentrale Lage ermöglicht jeden Stadtbesuch zu Fuß.
Was wir vermisst haben waren Infos, z.B. wo ist der nächste größere Supermarkt, welche Pads werden benötigt, um die Waschmaschine zu aktivieren und wie TV u. Alle diese Fragen die wir über whatsap mehrmals gestellt haben wurden nie befriedigend beant-wortet. Deshalb wird die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer als schlecht bewertet. Auch unsere Bitte die Termine (18.-20.04.+20.04.-23.04.) Rechnungsmäßig als eine Buchung zu behandeln, wurde ignoriert. Obwohl wir mehrmals den Besitzer gebeten haben uns die 5 Nächte zusammen in Rechnung zu stellen, mussten wir 1x die zwei Nächte bezahlen und separat die drei folgenden Nächte. Vermutlich war es so für den Besitzer finanziell günstiger. Alles zusammen bewertet ergibt eine 5
