Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Nos quedamos por 4 noches en el hotel, los desayunos y la atención del personas del hotel son excelentes. Hacen que la experiencia sea muy buena. Además de la tranquilidad del lugar, perfecto para poder descansar. La casa es hermosa, queda ubicada en un lugar con una vista inmejorable del pueblo.
El único detalle es que algunas habitaciones quedan al lado de una calle donde todas las personas van a tomarse fotos entonces en el día se escucha mucha gente. Pero en la noche es muy tranquilo y muy silencioso.

Reviewed Dec 3, 2025Las vistas desde la terraza del hotel son maravillosas. Buen desayuno servido en la terraza. Tiene parking privado, cerrado. Habitación grande y confortable. Cama muy cómoda. Baño amplio.
Aunque para nosotros no fue negativo, hay una cuesta muy pronunciada para subir al hotel desde el centro de Barichara. Es difícil de localizar porque no tiene ninguna cartel que indique que ese es el hotel (creo que estaban en renovación y lo iban a poner). Tuvimos que llamar para preguntar cuál era la puerta del hotel.

Reviewed Nov 4, 2025Hermoso lugar, con zonas comunes muy especiales y una vista increíble de las montañas y la cúpula de la iglesia principal. Una piscina pequeña pero perfecta para asolearse y refrescarse. Hacen El pan integral mas delicioso y fresco de todo Barichara para sus huéspedes.
El aire acondicionado suena mucho, o no logramos entender si era el aire o sus ductos. Colchón 8/10. Necesitan un blackout ya que la ventana da directamente a la cama, el enrrollable que hay deja pasar toda la luz. La atención es normal y las personas que atienden se limitan a lo básico, excepto si eres extranjero.

Las toallas podrían ser de mejor calidad. Por ser una ubicación turística, en las calles se oye ruido de personas.

The breakfast was quite poor compared to the price and amenities. You have only eggs and bread to eat which was strange for such a nice hotel. It would have been great to have en a la carte menu to choose from or at least a small buffet.

The owner is super friendly and speaks English very well which made things a bit easier since my Spanish is only OK. My room was super pleasant and clean. The breakfast was great.

The hammocks were lovely, the beds were very comfortable. The staff was so accommodating, gracious and helpful. The cheeseboard was superb, the chicken sandwich was excellent. The mock tails and cocktail’s were delicious

The only thing I didn't like was the checkout time as it was set really early (11am)

Reviewed Dec 14, 2022We spent 2 nights at Casa Barichara. It was never so easy for us to say: everything was great at this boutique hotel, todo excelente. Large rooms with comfortable beds, central location on a higher spot with beautiful views over Barichara, terrace with large open- air spaces and hammocks, small pool. And everyone of the female staff so friendly and always with a smile. Certainly we will stay here again, and more nights, when coming back to Barichara.
There is nothing we could complain about.
