The property was breathtaking! Lorna and Pete were very accommodating to some very exhausted travellers! Who gets to see a new born calf take its first steps?! Would highly recommend!

It was so nice to be somewhere away from the hustle and bustle. It was super quiet at night and every no and again a bunch of cows would go by. Our host, Lorna, took on a walk to meet all the cows that they had and we enjoyed this time immensely

Ruim huis, mooie tuin, van alle gemakken voorzien. Vooral de speelkamer was een grote plus voor onze kinderen.

Un accueil chaleureux de la part des propriétaires Peter et Lorna qui vous font le tour de la ferme et vous montrent leur vaches et la traite. Lait, crème et scones offerts à votre arrivée, un vrai délice ! La salle de jeu de la maison est top et le reste très bien équipé, moderne et très propre. Des gens passionnés et une maison en pleine nature, n’hésitez pas si vous êtes de passage dans ce coin.

Logement propre et fonctionnel, idéal avec des enfants (il y a des jeux partout 😁). Le cadre est vraiment super, surtout si on apprécie la compagnie des vaches. Enfin, Lorna est très gentille et accueillante. Un grand merci à elle!

A fantastic house especially for young families, a great games room, lovely outdoor area and safe off the road. A lovely welcome with delicious scones!

So well equipped. Everything you could possibly need. The pool table etc were great for my teenagers. Also v thoughtful that coffee, milk and other basics such as shampoo were left as well as the lovely scones. Very clean and though we didn’t meet the owners it is clear a lot of care goes into every detail of running this accommodation.

This is a real working farm so stock up before you go as it’s a good drive even to find a takeaway or supermarket. We had to keep windows closed as due to heat and proximity of the farm there were flies coming in. One other thing to be aware off is there is no wall upstairs between the double and single beds. Not a problem for us but just to note if privacy is important to you.

This was the perfect introduction to the Irish countryside. We loved our stay. As we wrap up a two week trip around Ireland, we are confident that Lorna’s scones and jam were the best we’ve had (we’ve had a lot of scones). Lorna was so kind to take us around the property to see the cows. She was very patient with our wary five year old. Our kids loved the game room, while I treasured the quiet mornings on the back patio. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

Herzlicher Empfang mit leckeren, selbstgemachten Scones. Sehr gut ausgestattete, saubere und geräumige Wohnung mit Hobbyraum (z.B. Tischtennis, Billardtisch). Stabiles WLAN. Bequeme Betten. Wir waren leider nur auf Durchreise. Die Wohnung eignet sich auf jeden Fall auch für einen längeren Bauernhof-Urlaub. Und wenn man schon einmal da ist, sollte man unbedingt die selbstgemachten Marmeladen und ein Glas frische Milch probieren.

Ein absolutes Highlight während unseres Irland Roadtrips, wir wären gerne länger als eine Nacht geblieben. Wir wurden außerordentlich herzlich mit selbstgemachten Scones und Marmelade begrüßt und haben eine ausführliche Führung über den Bauernhof bekommen, bei der wir sogar die Kühe streicheln und das Pferd füttern durften. Es wurde sich sehr viel Zeit für uns genommen, das wissen wir sehr zu schätzen! Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und die Tischtennisplatte war super. Auch geschlafen haben wir sehr gut. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft zu 100% weiter!

Das Wasser in der Dusche wurde kaum warm, ansonsten war alles top!

Ci è piaciuto tantissimo il giro della fattoria con i proprietari, abbiamo visto il cavallo, i vitellini e le mucche. La veranda con la vista sul campo con le mucche è bellissima e anche la luminosa stanza privata con il ping pong, il biliardo, air hockey e il biliardino. C'è la lavatrice e la lavastoglie.

La camera è nel sottotetto anche se per noi non è stato un problema.

The property, the owners, and the fact that it is located on a farm. We were offered to have the kids visit the farm and help milk the cows but unfortunately our travel plans required us to leave early. It would have been quite an experience. This property is really cool and worth staying in for a real Irish experience.

Peter and lorna were so helpful,lorna showed the kids the calfs and a horse,they loved it.even though they were busy,they made time for us.would highly recommend this place to stay.

Almost perfect but had I known that the bathroom was downstairs, I would not have booked the property. Not great to be going downstairs in the middle of the night, particularly for elderly and disabled people; which we both were. Also freezing cold in bathroom. No heating provided in there. One of rings on cooker not working. Very inadequate lighting in main living area ... 1 main hanging light and 1 cooker hood light. A few more kitchen utensils wouldn't go amiss ... struggled to get fried eggs out of your pan!

The location is amazing, the morning views to the mountains are a plus. The host made us fresh scones for breakfast and jam. Really good.

Wow! Un réel coup de cœur pour nous. J’ai rarement connu des hôtes aussi accueillants! Ils nous ont fait faire le tour des environs en arrivant puis nous avons eu droit à plusieurs petites attentions. (Fleurs fraîches sur la table, scones et confiture maison, puis du bon lait frais. Pour ceux qui ont de jeunes enfants, tout est bien pensé. Barrière pour les escaliers, jouets, serviettes supplémentaires, etc. Avec les animaux qui dorment tout près, c’est une activité en soi d’être là. Notre seul regret est de ne pas être restés plus longtemps!

The photos on booking.com mislead me as it appeared to have at least two bedrooms but it is actually just one bedroom with one double bed and few single bed. Otherwise I like the games and kept us entertained. Thank you 😊

This was the highlight of our entire trip to Ireland. Lorna, Peter, and their daughters couldn't have been more welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. Upon arrival, Lorna immediately took us around their dairy farm and within 20 minutes, we were milking cows. If folks want to truly experience the warmth and beauty of the Irish people, this is the place for you. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The next day after exploring Kilkenny, we got back and helped the daughters herd calves to a different field. We drank the freshest milk, got nuzzled by cows, got grrrr'd at by a bull, pet a horse, laid in the tall grass, and played table tennis. Words cannot express how lovely this family and their beautiful home are.

Es gab zwar kein Frühstück, aber wir wurden hervorragend mit Scones und Marmelade versorgt. There was no breakfast, but we were excellently provided with scones and jam.

Bad ist etwas klein, für längere Aufenthalte wäre das für uns (drei Personen) nicht so toll. The bathroom is a bit small, which wouldn't be great for us (3 persons) for longer stays.

Lorna a pris de son temps pour nous faire visiter la ferme familiale, nous parler de leur vie en Irelande et même caresser leurs vaux et génisses. je recommande vivement

La maison d'hôtes est charmante, bien équipée, confortable et le cadre est génial, en pleine campagne. Peter et Lorna sont très aimables et donnent de bons conseils pour les visites. Les biscuits offerts à notre arrivée étaient très bons! Les chats et chiens de la famille sont également très sympathiques! Bref, tout était parfait. Notre seul regret, ne pas être restés plus longtemps !

My family truly enjoyed our time at this property. The farm is absolutely beautiful, and the house is clean, spacious and has everything you could need. The house is very close to Rock of Cashel and Kilkenny, both gorgeous locations to visit. The hosts are very warm, receptive, friendly and supportive. They were quick to provide assistance to our family and answer any questions we had. I highly recommend this location to anyone in Ireland.

We had an awesome one-night stay at the farmhouse and really wish we could’ve stayed longer. The location was great, and the hosts were super friendly. Lorna even gave us a tour of the farm, which we weren’t expecting but ended up being one of the best parts of our trip! My daughter loved seeing all the animals, especially the cows. We also got to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Big thanks to the hosts for their amazing hospitality!

Everything was amazing, the view from the apartment, the equipment in the house. Also the owner was super and helpful. And we enjoyed the most games in the livingroom.

Everything was perfect - Lorna and Peter were so lovely - we had fresh scones and cream on arrival and there was Fresh Farm Eggs at a small cost. Mum and my sister got a little tour of their lovely farm and got to meet some new arrivals there too! Overall it was a wonderful weekend - the sunsets are very beautiful too!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this rural house near to Kilkenny! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly comfortable and welcome. The hosts were always there to help us with anything we needed and went above and beyond in their generosity. The facilities were excellent—clean, spacious, and well-maintained. What really stood out was how kind and attentive the hosts were. They provided us with everything, including food and transportation, without charging us anything extra. Their hospitality truly made the experience unforgettable. They are genuinely lovely people, and I highly recommend this place to anyone. Staying here is more than just accommodation; it's a unique and delightful experience. Thank you for everything!

The hosts were gracious enough to give us some milk, cream and scones home made on the farm! They were very flexible with check in time. Overall would highly recommend the stay!
