The room was spacious

They provided plastic utensils in the room which I felt was disrespectful of me as a guest. When asked, the housekeeper said we steal and the owner re-iterated the same. I stayed the second day because it was raining and I couldn’t inconvenience myself The housekeeper touched me and my daughter inappropriately

The decor is great, Very well equipped with a comfortable bed. Stunning views, in a great location, close to the N2 and shops.

I will stay there again. I will recommend this to all my friends and family. Lovely and friendly staff.

This was my second stay at this place, 1st time just after covid, the restaurant wasn't operating then. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. Very quiet area, rooms were clean and comfortable bed.

What a great discovery, while travelling down the Garden Route! Wish we'd discovered it earlier, as we would've stayed longer (rather than just overnight). Excellent location; quiet and restful boutique hotel; spacious and very clean rooms; easy checkin/checkout; very responsive hosts (we needed advice on places to eat on a Sunday night. can highly recommend TransKaroo nearby) (We only stayed overnight so didn't make use of the outdoor area, plunge pool, bar, or breakfast on offer)

Beautiful location. Sleeping with the sound of the sea in your ears. Owners and staff super friendly and helpful. Rooms are huge with everything you need. Lovely breakfast included. So worth the stay.

We had an amazing stay at BergWood Inn. The owners were incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home. Communication was excellent before and throughout our stay, especially when they reached out earlier in the day to check if we’d like dinner. It was so easy to arrange, and the homemade meal they prepared was absolutely delicious—better than any restaurant we tried during our stay in South Africa! Our room was cozy and well-equipped for winter, with both heating and electric blankets that made a big difference on the chilly nights. I highly recommend BergWood Inn to anyone visiting the area. It’s a warm, welcoming place with outstanding hospitality and food.

Absolute "WOW" this place exceeded all our expectations . Huge room and bathroom . Bed was big and comfy with all the bedding . Room was really big and enough space . Everything was super clean and room was cleaned everyday . Huge corner bath and shower . Enough towels . Tea , cofee and sugar milk was provided and top up . We stayed 4 days and not once could we fault the place . Breakfast was nice and staff was super nice . Although they do not have a evening menu the hosts was super accommodating and would provided us with what we wanted for supper . The patio provided a super beautiful view . There was no noise or any disturbances during our stay . What ever you needed they provided . Neighborhood is peaceful and about 15 min drive from Hartenbos . Will recommend this place to anyone .
