It was a beautifully decorated room and garden. Lovely decor set in a quiet alley not far to walk to the beach . The owner is a kind and friendly man happy to help . He has his heart in the creation of this lovely guest house and his enjoyment of meeting his guests. Highly recommend this place.

Wir waren eine Woche hier und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist super! Sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der sehr an der Zufriedenheit der Gäste interessiert ist! In der Unterkunft stehen kostenlose Fahrräder zur Verfügung. Die Zimmer sind individuell und liebevoll eingerichtet und der Garten läd zum Entspannen ein. Durch die Nähe zum Fluss kann man viele Tiere sehen (zahlreich Vögel, Mungos, Palmhörnchen, Warane).

Der Host war super nett. Man merkt, dass er mit Herz dabei ist. Um die Zimmer ist ein sehr schöner Garten, der auch Tiere wie Geckos oder ähnliches anlockt. Ich würde gerne wiederkommen :)

Sehr herzliche Aufnahme und toller Aufenthalt (leider nur am Morgen und Abend, da wir unterwegs waren). Die Straße war nicht zu hören, wir haben gut geschlafen. Prima Frühstück gab's und sehr gute Informationen zur Umgebung.

Nur die Fahrräder benötigen etwas fachkundige Wartung (aus unserer Sicht als auch Radfahrer).

Eine tolle Unterkunft in einem schönen Garten mit vielen Pflanzen und Tieren. Der Gastgeber ist total lieb und kümmert sich um alles. Er hat mit uns sogar einen Ausflug unternommen und uns die Region gezeigt ( kostenlos). Morgens haben wir das Frühstück auf die Terasse serviert bekommen und es war lecker und ausreichend. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder hingehen.

Tolle Villa, liegt in einem wunderschönen Garten. Hier findet man Ruhe und Entspannung. Zum Strand führt eine kleine Straße entlang von Häusern und Gärten. Es ist ein sehr gemütlicher Weg, der ein bisschen Schatten spendet. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam besonders hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist lecker und abwechslungsreich. Alles in allem: ein perfekter Ort für alle die etwas besonderes, individuelles und doch einfaches möchten.

Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hat uns einige Tipps gegeben. Die Unterkunft war sauber. Die Air Condition hat super funktioniert. Der Garten ist sehr idyllischen und ruhig. Das Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen wurde von seiner Frau zubereitet und liebevoll serviert. War sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und würden gerne wieder kommen.

De gastheer is geweldig. Hij staat altijd voor je klaar en brengt je overal heen. De regelneef die weet hoe hij zijn gasten moeten ontvangen.

The property has nice green area in front of the house. Friendly owner. It was ok with the sound from road -I could hear it, but not extremely loud. My favourite beautiful beach is 15 mins by feet, possible to swim-no waves( which is rare on SriLanka)

The main thing is that the owner has 2 houses and they are different. One ( which we got) is extremely small and not what we supposed to get according to pictures and description from booking. But we had only one night booked (we were lucky:) so that we stayed. Owner was pretending that he isn’t aware of that mistake on booking. The other guests from the house we “booked“ told us that it’s regular story -because they had long term stay and could observe each arrival drama about “ mistaken reservation “. So get ready to be cheated SriLankan way :) I think it was the worst stay during all our one month trip around Sri Lanka. Awful, crazy uncomfortable bed-metal springs dig into the body-impossible to sleep. Next to the house is the river-so that get ready to mosquitoes. Next to the house is some massage table storage -dusty, dirty. Fridge was dirty. Oh! It was also impressive loud and noisy run competition of squirrels and cat trying to catch them-next morning some dust, stones were all around the floor fallen from the roof at night.

We stayed 4 night in this villa and our stay was more than fantastic!!! The host Shameera is such a great and wonderful guy. The villa is located in a very green garden with a lot of space around the building. You can sit on the veranda and look for hours only in the garden and you will see real nature with different flowers, trees, animals etc. It was so relaxing!! :-) The breakfast is served by the host every morning on the veranda outside and it contains day by day different local specialties with a wonderful taste. Also his hints, what to to in the surroundings and possible activities are great and useful. Thank you once again for hosting us in your small escape from normal life, Shameera. Located close to the beach, the homestay is very welcoming and has a beautiful garden where one can sit and relax. The rooms were clear, equipped with kettle and fridge and very comfortable. Would highly recommend the place. The host is very helpful and prepared a very good breakfast for.us.

Good sized room close proximity to beach. Wonderful, serene gardens, beautifully planted, alongside the river. Natural, sympathetic decor felt really comfortable. Very welcoming, relaxed, laid-back host. Fan in room. Excellent breakfast. Kettle in the kitchen. Really comfortable bed and bed linen made for a good night's sleep.

Property was quite dirty, particularly small kitchen area and bathroom. Dirty floor in kitchen, we had to clean the fridge before we could put our water etc in there. Grubby door and handles. There was a little hob in the kitchen but no pans, I looked in cupboards in kitchen and closed them again quickly - very dirty! Out of date and empty toiletries left in bathroom by previous guests - all went in the bin. Mosquitoes were the worst! as next to river!

The host and the facilities included were something that exceeded the expectations. the interior of the room felt very homely and comfortable. Highly reccomended for any solo traveller or to a person on business trips.

Srilanka Dinner was arranged. Host Sameer did everything to make us feel comfortable and had a homely feeling.

Kitchen utilities can be improved.

The villa has everything you need - little kitchen, bathroom, king size bed, AC, ... The garden is a little djungle-like paradise with a lot of birds, flying foxes, squirrels, ... Especially the host is awesome. Showed me around to secret spots in this area. Can absolutely recommend to everybody!

Every thing was perfect

A piece of heaven in the countryside of Sri Lanka. The villa is located inside a beautiful garden and just 10 min from the beach. The host will do everything to make you feel at home. I really appreciate that the host took me to visit the surrounding area free of charge. The breakfast was delicious, with a choice of Sri Lankan, Indian or Western food. For a very reasonable price, he also offers an excellent dinner. Thanks again :)

We loved our stay at Sriyan Villa. Shameera is an extremely helpful and friendly host, from preparing us breakfast to giving plenty of tips of places to see in Sri Lanka. The villa itself is a hidden gem by the river and only 10 minutes away from the beautiful Morigalla beach. Villa is tastefully designed with antique-inspired style and has a green and peaceful garden. We will certainly come back :)

Had a perfect and special breakfast. I really liked it. Host is very helpful. Arranged free transport to the beach. And helped to find everything what i want. And there is a kitchen with all the kitchen items you can cook there in your way. City also near to villa.

Sriyan Villa is a beautiful place to stay when visiting the West Coast of Sri Lanka. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, organising local tuk tuk drives, delicious meals (cooked by the hosts themselves) and tours of the local area and much more. The tour we had with them was the highlight of our holiday! The villa itself is a beautiful near 200 year old building with a wonderful green garden and out of the busy streets (which for us was a relief coming from Colombo). Both hosts speak very good English and are more than happy to assist with anything extra you might want. The room we stayed in has good wifi, air con in the bedroom (which was great!), a good kitchen and the rooms were clean. Whether you are coming for a beach experience, relaxing getaway or sightseeing adventure, Sriyan Villa is perfect.

We love everything about Sriyan Villa. A cozy beautiful villa hidden in Beruwala, it was truly a treat to stay there. The lush greens and beautiful atmosphere gave us the much needed relaxation we craved. The owner is a very friendly gentleman who always checked in on us and made sure that we were comfortable and well cared for with exceptional service that goes above and beyond. I would not hesitate to recommend Sriyan Villa for a romantic getaway!

It's a beautiful villa with a big garden. Clean room and comfortable bed. Water with high pressure shower. There is a separate space for yoga. Owner is very friendly and helpful. I really recommend this villa.

Everything is superb.

Unexpectedly found, It is small villa, with mini fridge and kitchen. Room is plenty for 2 of us, with a comfortable bed. Everything was there that we can think of like hot water, A/C, and the internet. Owner of the place was very kind towords us.Beach near it was one of the best. He arrange a village tour for free of charge. Breakfast was also good. The time spent there was very enjoyed.

I had special breakfast and itz actully good.Valuble antique furnitures all over the place with a nice bed. FYI there is shortcut to Moragalla beach Also. Owner is very friendly and helpfull. Great place for value.

This villa is really maintained by the owner and it was newly build place which is located near to the fabulous Bentota Beach. There has your privacy and no one disturbing you while in the property. owner of the property is very helpful and he has great knowledge about the area and activities which we can do within our stay. also he has good connections with around the restaurants if we need to arrange anything with the meals. overall it was great pleasure to stay there as a guest!
