Hotel Midway was an excellent choice for our stay in Milan. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and genuinely soundproof. The AC worked perfectly, which was especially important during the 90°F days. The hotel is family-friendly, and the staff were consistently warm and helpful.

Parking was hard to locate due to its central location

The location was good, only a three minutes walk to Central Station. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel was in an old building. The outside was not so good.

It is not exactly an hotel, but a collection of rooms at the 4th floor of a not friendly building

The staff was exceptional, friendly and professionally efficient. I did enjoy being directly across the street from Centrale Mercato, an amazing collection of eateries, with excellent variety & quality.

No dislikes to report, as you experience the full spectrum of Milano vibrant ethnic diversity.

Location, just steps away from Milan centrale station. Literally few meters from Malpensa shuttle bus. Staff & owner was kind, specially Kim at reception was very polite. We stayed twice during our stay in the property. I was staying with 4 kids, booked 2 rooms and one of the room with 1 queen and 2 twin bed was very helpful. If I come back to Milan, I would definitely consider this place. Overall good value for the money. Despite being a small renovated it’s very well managed. Staff also helped us at midnight with hot water requests when needed for kids

showers can be upgraded. Breakfast option could be better (though I didn’t book with breakfast but while looking at buffet I was happy not booking it).

Great location close to the market and train station!

The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was just what we needed for the night between arrival by train and departure by air. Could not have been more convenient.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent, especially for access to Milano Centrale, and the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working during our stay, which was a significant issue given the very hot weather. We were not informed about this before arrival, despite air conditioning being advertised as one of the room facilities. The staff provided us with a fan, which we appreciated, but it was not an adequate replacement for air conditioning in the summer heat. Had we known beforehand, it may have affected our decision to book.

Hotel normal en el medio de la cuidad y cerca la estacion central lo cual es clave para cortar estadias y si quieres estar cerca para tomar algun tren que fue el caso de nosotros

Creo que la habitcion dejo mucho a deber, sobre todo por que la ducha estaba tapada y se fue la luz durante nuestra estadia (2 veces). Al fina regreso en la noche (por suerte)

There were stains on the comforter. The pillows were so uncomfortable. There was a weird smell in the room. There was a leak on night 2 of our stay from the AC unit. They barely apologized and didn’t do anything to help. It kept us up all night and they could care less. Avoid staying here!

Hôtel situé juste en face de la gare, donc très pratique quand on est en transit. Il est malgré tout très calme car il se trouve dans les hauteurs d'un grand immeuble ancien ( avec ascenseur). Chambre un peu étroite pour 4 mais suffisamment confortable, et, surtout, la climatisation est efficace ! Enfin, le personnel est sympathique.

Great character, close to the station for an overnight stop off. Staff were super nice and we loved the Pokemon decorations.

El baño tenía mal olor, salía olor por el desagüe de la ducha, la taza del inodoro estaba rota.

Everything from beginning to end was wonderful. The staff is so welcoming. The room is clean, comfortable, and the air conditioner works great, which is a plus in summer. Only 4 minutes walk from Milano Centrale train station. Highly recommend!

The towels were not clean we found hair on them, the bathroom was not that clean as it should, the shower needs to be changed. Small room.

Zeer goed naast station gelegen, eenwording hotel. Interieur is erg simpel, ook het was erg schoon. We mochten rond 11:00 al inchecken wat mega vriendelijk was. Top personeel. Bed is perfect. Ontbijt hadden we niet, zal ik ook adviseren naast in de station gebouw bij de foodmarket heerlijk wat eten. Koffie was te koop en super lekker, capsules, water, frisdrank en indien nodig ook wat fruit te koop. Prijs- kwaliteit verhouding is heel goed.

The good points are that the hotel is very close to Milano Centrale, the room was cleaned every day, and the air conditioning worked well. However, those were pretty much the only positives for us.

The hotel is located on the fourth floor of a building that contains several different hotels. The elevator is extremely old and quite rusty. We also did not feel completely comfortable with the security of the building. The main entrance door can be opened simply by pressing a button from outside, and because the hotel is very close to the train station, there are sometimes questionable people around the area at night. When entering the building, we did not feel that there was much control preventing someone from simply following us inside, there is not security at the entrance. The biggest issue, however, was the attitude of one member of staff, an older woman who appeared to be the manager or owner. On one occasion, we politely asked another employee at reception if we could use the microwave to prepare some instant noodles. She kindly told us that we could. A few moments later, this woman came over and started speaking very loudly and rudely to the receptionist in front of us in. She then took over while our food was being heated and handed it back to us in a very unfriendly manner. The whole interaction made us feel extremely uncomfortable. If guests are not allowed to use the microwave, that is completely fine, but the staff should simply communicate that clearly and politely instead of creating such an unpleasant situation. At the end of our stay another staff member tried to make us stay for "free tea" to get a good review from us but we left. Unfortunately, because of the way we were treated, I would not recommend staying here. Location and cleanliness are important, but hospitality and respectful treatment of guests are just as important.

위치가 중앙역 앞이라서 좋았습니다. 에어컨 시원하고 좋았습니다.

중국계 주인아주머니가 많이 깐깐하셔요 잘모르고 안쪽 화장실 이용하다가 벼락호통 들었습니다.. 웃으며 넘어갈수있는걸 굳이 소리칠일인가 싶었네요

인원이 많아서 체크인이 번거로웟을텐데 빠르게 체크인이 되어서 좋았고 에어컨이 시원해서 괜찮

엘레베이터 문에 여러번 찡겼어요ㅋㅋㅋ 꼭 탑승하고 층수를 누르세요ㅋㅋㅋ

My initial reasons for booking this hotel was their ability to accommodate our bed request for a family of 5, price, and the location. It was very simple, not fancy, but felt safe and clean. We ran into a few minor issues and the staff was creative and helpful to resolve them.

The staff were a bit pushy about asking us for a 10 star review. I told them I would be happy to write a review, but they literally wanted to stand over my shoulder and watch me do it. I stayed there two separate times on one trip so I can now take the time to write my thoughts on our stay rather than just click "10" all the way through as they asked.

The hotel is located nearby the Milano station. The room was clean, and the bed and the bathroom were good.

Although the hotel is located exactly nearby the Milan station, the area is not comfortable enough. I did not walk at night. The building is old, and the elevator door did not close tightly. I put a photograph of the door. I can see the inside of the elevator box from outside. The hotel staff asked me to evaluate the hotel just in front of her at the time of checkout, which made me feel uncomfortable, as if I were pressured to give a highly positive review.

The hotel was clean, close to the train station, and an excellent place for an overnight stop before traveling further by train. The room had three beds with firm mattresses that gave us a good night's sleep. The air conditioning and ventilation were also excellent—it was 36°C outside, but you couldn't notice it at all inside.

The bathroom and shower were of low standard, more like a hostel. Considering we were two adults and a teenager and paid €237 for one night, the price was a bit high for the overall standard of the facilities.

Amazing location. More than good enough for a night or two in Milan.

Not amazing value compared to other bookings in Italy, a fair bit of noise from outside but I can safely recommend.

Although fully renovated, the rooms were very small and very expensive.

Bedroom was modern and good air conditioning.

Bathroom was horrible. Dirty shower. Wet floor from leaking toilet upon entry. Sink clogged. Location near station was initially thought to be ideal for frequent use, but area very dangerous. Was warned by taxi drivers and store owners not to walk outside at night or early morning. Was scheduled to stay there again on return leg of trip, but I'll take the non-refundable loss instead of going back.

Gostei somente da localização, pois o hotel é ao lado da estação central de Milão!

Não gostei da entrada, pois a princípio quando chegamos tivemos a impressão que estávamos em um cortiço! Café da manhã péssimo, pois o mesmo é preparado pela dona do hotel em uma pia colada na recepção, e por sinal muito bagunçada e ficamos com muito nojo do café da manhã! Além do mais a máquina de café da manhã fica lá dentro sob os cuidados da dona; eu havia tomado um café e pedi outro e percebi que ela não gostou! E tem mais ainda! A Dona do hotel fica na recepção solicitando e constrangendo os hóspedes para que façam a avaliação do hotel junto com ela! Observei que muitos hóspedes fazem a avaliação junto com ela, pois se sentem constrangidos a fazer!

Het personeel vraagt om een positieve recensie in ruil voor ontbijt. Dat klopt natuurlijk eigenlijk niet.

It had air conditioning and the beds were nice.

The room was tiny; only enough space for 3 twin beds. The shower had a flimsy partition and water got all over the bathroom floor. No Kleenex. Air conditioning shut off in the middle of the night; intentional cost-saving device? Very much like a hostel and should be priced under 100 euros. 45 euros is probably about right.

A very good hotel in a convenient location. It is only about a five-minute walk from the train station and another five minutes from the metro, making it easy to travel around Milan. The Duomo is only around 10 minutes away by metro. The rooms are very basic, but they are clean, comfortable and perfectly fine for a short stay.

There were no real negatives. The lift is quite small, but this was not really an issue for us.

Es un hotel bien para quienes necesitan estar cerca de la estación Milano Centrale y del transporte de buses hacia el aeropuerto de Malpensa, ya que se encuentra justo frente de la parada de esos buses y cerca a esta estación. Además, nos permitieron guardar nuestros equipajes porque llegamos antes de la hora del check-in. Cuando regresamos al hotel, nuestras maletas ya estaban en la habitación, un detalle que hizo nuestra llegada mucho más cómoda.

Como comentario a mejorar, en Booking se indica que el personal habla español; sin embargo, durante nuestra estancia el idioma de su personal fue chino e inglés. Aunque el personal fue muy amable y siempre hizo un gran esfuerzo por entendernos, sería conveniente que la información publicada reflejara con mayor precisión los idiomas disponibles.
