Reviewed Sep 11, 2026It was a convenient place for a family of five. The homestay was clean & well equipped with basic facilities including fridge, kitchen utensils, mugs & plates, rice cooker & frying pan & pot. The shower room & toilet is separated, this more convenient. Dining area is just few metres walk from the homestay and served delicious meals with reasonable price. There are few shops/ stores about 3 km if you need to buy some groceries. The hill view from the balcony during sunrise & sunsets were spectacular.
1. Quite steep to drive to parking area with Alza, but we parked at the lower ground near the dining area. 2. It has some squealing sound when you walk around the homestay

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026La vue est superbe, l'emplacement proche du centre à pied, la taille de la maison, la gentillesse de l'hôte, le calme par rapport à la route.
Le confort était assez sommaire : le canapé était très dur, que des tabourets pour s'asseoir (pas de chaises), pas de draps sous les couvertures des lits et de taille 1 personne, même pour le lit double.

Reviewed May 18, 2026It is near to kundasang town so make it easy to restaurant/market. Very convenient to get all necessities. House was clean. Not far to travel to attraction places like desa dairy farm. Self check in and check out is easy and simple. Host is friendly.
Bedroom 2 with bunk bed was a bit smelly, probably because of the mattress. However we didn’t use that room so just close it and away from that unpleasant smell. Road to the homestay is a bit challenging. Some amenities like brooms/ frying pan is old.

Betten recht hart. Kopfkissen sehr dick und pro Schlafplatz nur eine dünne Decke vorhanden. Zum Glück waren wir nur zu zweit.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Great location, simple accomodation and fantastic views of the mountains. Nice to have two bedrooms and two outside spaces to use. Kitchen well stocked with utensils etc and house was very clean.
Pillows very uncomfortable and only given microfibre towel (hand towel size) and single blanket as bedding. Easy fixes that would considerably improve this house and are expected given the price.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2025the place was clean and well stocked with drinks and kitchen utensils. easy to cook if you want to and the location is at kundasan town with access to supermarket and many restaurants. individual rooms help to keep sleeping children away from the bustle of daily preparation which is useful for families with young children.
the roads to niche attractions in kundasan and to this place is pretty steep so better get a car with higher ground clearance to have ease of mind while driving.

I wish there garden can be revived. There are empty flower pots and dried flower plans.

Reviewed Jan 29, 2025The location is very strategic even though the hill towards the homestay was quite steep. The homestay was cosy and comfortable.The key box was quite hard to open but the host quickly replied to my message. It is very cold at the time we’re there so it is recommended to bring extra blanket or jacket if you’re not used to the cold. It is very muslim friendly since the host strictly forbidden any non-halal food or beverage inside the premise. Also, the view is awesome and you could sit in the balcony.
I was hoping the host could add a vanity for the girls to get ready. The water pressure for the shower is a little weak too. And perhaps add more lock to the front door because my family didn’t feel safe just by locking the door knob.

Reviewed Oct 19, 2024Like the location. nearby the pekan of kundasang. i leisurely walk to the town for a bite but beware the climb back to the homestay a bit challenging for a weakling like me 😅. the place feels homey. love the view and the staff attend the problem that we have with the water heater fast.
the road to climb to the stay its a bit challenging. hope can improve on the roadwork as i saw a bit of it falling apart. but nonetheless 4wd wheels will be okay to climb there.

Reviewed Mar 19, 2024House was built solitary. We are a family of 5 so it just nice fit us. Small but modern and comfortable. The view from balcony was superb, the cold wind and air blew inside the house and make the overall stay so much better. Privacy was definitely there as we are the only unit there. Early morning view was definitely the best!!!
The road going up was a bit challenging, not recommended for novice driver. Someone who is experience in driving uphill is recommended. The mattress was too soft, adequate for those who does not complain much. Water heater not hot enough.
