Kena upgrade kipas tu bagi besar sikit atau guna kipas siling. Siang panas.

Je hebt zeker een goede eigen auto nodig om er te komen, laatste stuk van de weg is hobbelig.

De weg erheen is erg slecht en onverhard. Ligt ver van het dorp af.

Houding van ongeïnteresseerd personeel, keken niet op van hun telefoon bij de sleuteloverdracht. Kamer is aan renovatie toe, geen rookmelders, zeer gehorig, er was geen diner of ontbijt beschikbaar. Er wordt wel geadverteerd dat dit er zou zijn. Toen wij aankwamen was er een groot luidruchtig familiefeest met kleine kinderen. Deze schreewden buiten en sprongen op de bedden en dunne houten vloeren direct boven ons. Dit ging door tot 23.00u, niet wat je wilt na een lange reisdag en de volgende voor de boeg. Totale afrader, voor ons de slechtste geboekte overnachting ooit. Volgende ochtend direct vol gas vertrokken!

1. The only setback is the water pressure. Having a good shower is almost impossible especially in the morning. 2. The road condition heading to the lodge is quite bad. It is best to drive a 4x4.

The kitchen area offers a beautiful view and is a great place to relax and spend quality time with friends or family. It is a cosy hidden gem with a peaceful atmosphere. We booked the family room, which had a simple yet pleasant décor. The room was clean, comfortable, and suitable for a family stay.
The only downside was that there was a noticeable urine smell in the toilet, which affected the overall experience slightly.

Chambre un peu vieillissante et compliqué d'avoir de l'eau chaude (au choix : pression avec eau froide ou peu de pression avec eau chaude)

Even though Mount Kinabalu was not visible, the view was still stunning. The check-in and check-out process was also easy. The staff were very helpful, and the food at the café was delicious.

YOU CAN HEAT YOUR FOOD CAUSE THEY GOT MICROWAVE. ALSO THE OUTSIDE KITCHEN AND CAFE LOOKING NICE WITH VIEW. BTW THE STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFULL.
THE SMELL OF THE TOILET, ACTUALLY IT COMES FROM THE DRAIN I THINK. AND THERE IS NO PLACE TO PUT TOWEL/CLOTHES IN THE TOILET. LIKE WHERE AM GONNA HANGING MY TOWEL RITE? ANOTHER PART IS, THIS CABIN NOT SUIT FOR THOSE WHO USING WHEELCHAIR, OLD PEOPLE WHO NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO USE THE STAIR.

Reviewed May 11, 2026Very convenient location as a base to go to different places. Countryside view with mountain view. Has a balcony to sit outside the room. Sunset was beautiful. There are water points near the rooms. It’s nice to have a cafe that opens for dinner. We were too tired and a little late to drive out on the day we arrived. It’s really nice to have hot food dished out.
Bathroom was small and warm water was slow. If you turn to a larger flow, it becomes cold water. A delicate balance! No lack of ‘friends’ at night so it is advisable to keep the doors closed. Flying insects, moths, etc… the cicada was huge. The bed was too soft for our liking. A firmer mattress would have done so much better for our backs.

Reviewed May 3, 2026If you were to stay here, you will be able to have a majestic view on the surrounding mountains - and in the morning 8-9AM, just walk up and Mount KK will appear in front of you!
The location could be quite hard to find (depends). We have ordered food panda service but the driver was unable to locate us. But we have no trouble navigating the journey and the homestay though. Just a minor point.

Het was een saaie kamer. Wel heel groot, maar weinig sfeer en wat achterstallig onderhoud bijv. dingen niet helemaal geverfd. De badkamer (douche) was in het kleine toilet. Heel onhandig. We kregen de verwarming van het water ook niet aan.
