Hotel Doolin

Most beautiful location, situated in the Burren & the wild Atlantic way. Doolin itself is a very special location, great pubs & traditional music. The hotel & staff were outstanding, so friendly & helpful. On your departure you are presented with traditional Irish bread to take home, lovely gesture.

Fab location, loved you could walk through the hotel to different venues.

The staff were amazing and very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was way beyond what was expected and delicious. The area is very close to the cliffs and several caves to explore in a quiet peaceful town.

The bed was a little hard, but I understand its impossible to make everyone happy in this area.

The hotel is clearly prepared for the comfort of the guests. Large room, extensive sitting areas in the lobby, food options available from breakfast to dinner. Very good breakfast - we really liked that it was a la carte and not a buffet. Very friendly staff. Location perfect for visiting the cliffs.

Bathroom was clean, but the shower was uncomfortable (the head fixed to the wall, with limited option to move it) and the mirror was way too low. Otherwise all was great.

Dining tables for 2 are too small. No room for settings . TV in bedroom tiny. Honestly very expensive.

The accommodations are amazing. Love the fireplace, the separate seating area, and the privacy. The front desk is top notch - extremely helpful. The overnight laundry service was a fantastic service and saved us from having to spend hours at a laundromat on our road trip in Ireland. The restaurant is lively and food is exceptional. Tried many new foods that night and enjoyed everything from the main dishes to the whiskey flights.

Cosy spacious clean suites, very nice staff. The walk-in wardrobe was very practical. I loved the outdoor space with chairs and coffee table. Breakfast at Fitz's was absolutely delicious.

These are just small improvement areas, everything was already amazing: a couple of hooks for towels and robes in the bathroom would have come in handy. And maybe it's slightly pricey for what is actually included.

The staff, from check in, the restaurant staff at breakfast, the bar staff, everyone so polite and friendly. The brown bread at breakfast was delicious and the surprise at check out was a lovely touch, will remember that. Room was very spacious, clean and inviting. Didn’t eat in the restaurant apart from breakfast but the food was lovely. Hopefully will do next time!

No air conditioning in the suites. Wifi was also unavailable for the first day.

Staff were so pleasant, friendly ,and obliging. Breakfast was so fresh and delicious !!! Very high standard. We felt very welcome on arrival 😀.

We loved the different choices for food and the quality of the food was great . Good location and bar offered entertainment in evenings. The breakfast table service was super, and we got brown bread to take home upon check out.

The shower wasnt great it was luke warm and power wasnt good.

Stayed in suites. Everything was beautiful. Large king size bed. Dressing room. Balcony with chairs & table. Quiet. Beer, crisps & snack bars left for guests. Nice touch. Burren soap left in bathroom. Waffle Robes included. Private parking space. Enjoyed food in Fitzies pub. Great music nightly.

It was a bit costly but it was high season & a favorite tourist spot.

Loved the cafe- the size of the room and the staff was very pleasant! Loved the Doolin area.

The breakfast exceeded my expectations! It included a tower of bread and pastry for the table and each person could also order an individual entree. The food and coffee were both amazing!

The hotel was simple but comfortable with excellent breakfast options in the attached restaurant. It is very close to the Cliffs of Moher and on the free shuttle stop to local attractions.

A room with a king bed as an option would have made it a tad more confortable

The property was very clean and quiet.

There wasn’t any shops open late to get snacks close by.

It’s not really set up to deal with warmer temperatures just like all the properties we stayed at in Ireland during the heat wave.

This is a lovely hotel in tiny Doolan. Nice, comfortable rooms and a good size also. We also had dinner there in the restaurant . All good.

This was a stunning hotel. THe location is perfect and the hotel has so much to offer. I proposed on this trip and the hotel and staff make the stay even more special for us ! will be staying here again in the future

Hotel Doolin is in the heart of Doolin. We had a room in a suite with parking right in front of the suite. The room was large with great amenities. Our room had a faux fireplace and refrigerator. It had 2 TV’s and a living room couch etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful in all respects. The location of Hotel Doolin is directly adjacent to a couple of different restaurants you can walk to in 2 minutes. The town of Doolin is a 10 min walk. You can also walk the cliffs of Mohr which is excellent. The food was excellent and there was music every night in Fritz pub at 8:30 which is connected to the property.

Great location for enjoying Doolin and the surrounds. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Breakfast was lovely as well. The bedroom was very quiet and very comfortable. Would highly recommend as a base for exploring the area.

What a gorgeous suite! The staff were amazing. So very nice. We stayed in suite one. Food was great at Fitz pub, music was awesome.

No storage in room to unpack; only one drawer. Decorations nearly non-existent. Suites not in main hotel. The room had a bleak feel.

We were in the suites and one of our rooms was built for handicapped and had very awkward bathroom and set up for able bodied. We did not request this room and they were not able to switch rooms. Also it was Unseasonably hot and with little ventilation it was uncomfortable sleeping.

We stayed in one of the suites. They were a good size and very clean with nice toiletries in the bathroom. The property was an easy walk to get to pubs and restaurants including the pier for day trips to the Aran Islands. The breakfast was average but functional. The checkin staff were excellent and they organised taxis to Homestead which was a bonus. When we left, we were gifted with sodabread which was a great touch. I would stay here again.

The breakfast was ok, lots of choice but wasnt overly tasty in comparison to other accommodations we stayed at.

This place was absolutely fantastic!! We loved Doolin The staff was so friendly. A very good breakfast…. The best I had in my entire stay in Ireland. I would highly recommend this hotel. Great pub restaurants with delicious food.
