Whangamata Harbour Haven

This place was great - had everything we needed plus some.. Lovely collection of books, board games and toys. The view is great - would love to experience it in Summer! Was a little nervous before arriving about the ‘dog on property due to having a one year old with us but Marley was a lovely friendly dog. Owners are in the level above - but we hardly noticed, rarely seen them and when we did had a great conversation and was given some good tips on where to go and what to see on our next leg of the journey, even got a few kiwi friend for breakfast which were super tasty!

The location is STUNNING! We arrived at 4pm, just in time to have a glass of wine looking out on the see as the sun went down. The shower pressure was amazing. Paul and Fleur were both lovely warm welcoming hosts. Then there’s Marley. The big friendly fluff ball! Welcomed us with lots of cuddles! The best doggy!

There was nothing i disliked about property.

Doors were open, lovely and fresh inside. Not too many perfumy smells which can tick off my sinus.

Location absolutley out of this world. Accomadation exemplary. Hosts amazing. It tick all the boxes.

Absolutely prime location! Right across the road from the water. We experienced a bad weather event which prevented us from leaving Whangamata due to slips and the hosts let us stay on without extra cost and made sure we were well looked after and had everything we needed. Fleur even brought us facial supplies, nail polish, colouring in books and board games. They were so caring and accommodating during an uncertain time!

Perfect holiday away - we had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. Lovely owners and sweetheart dog. Property was super clean and location was perfect.

The accommodation was well equipped and very clean. The view of the estuary was lovely. Marley, the dog, was friendly and no problem at all. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

There was nothing not to like

This place is a slice of heaven, watching the boats go by, listening to the wind and birds. Location is great, not far from town but just far enough to enjoy a peaceful drink on the deck. We slept exceptionally well and found everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are outstanding and super friendly. We fell in love with their dog Marley, who is so gentle and friendly. We are already talking about staying again in beautiful Whangamata and the little haven.

We loved the location. Everything was very tidy and clean. Lots of towels, kitchenware and even toys for my son. We felt right at home and were not missing anything.

Comfy beds, wicked shower, plenty of space for activities, easy going and lovely hosts

Lovely apartment, comfy furniture, well appointed, complete kitchen. Amazing view, outdoor deck with shade or sun available. Quiet neighborhood. Lovely hosts.

Perfect location, comfortable & clean. Host extremely helpful, even loaned us their George Forman as we just wanted Toasties for dinner tired of eating out. Great local knowledge.

The house is in front of the harbour. It was clean and the hosts are lovely, as well as their dog Marley. They also had food in the fridge such as butter, jam, bread and milk. It was a lovely stay.
