Geweldige tijd gehad. Huis direct aan de kust. Een paradijsje om heerlijk van te genieten. De gastvrijheid en goed zorgen van mr. Monchirris maken het verblijf compleet. Ook heel goed en lekker gegeten via de accomodatie zelf. De zee kan wat woest en wild zijn wat relaxt zwemmen moeilijk maakt maar het strand is 10x mooier dan het Palomino strand waar de boekjes je naar toe sturen. Palomino ligt vlakbij en heeft een leuke sfeer en vibe. Maar een plek zoals casa Altomar ga je daar niet vinden.

De horren zouden iets beter gemonteerd kunnen worden zodat er geen beestjes binnen kunnen komen snachts. Hoe het nu voor het glas staat heeft niet zoveel nut

The views are nice and it’s a peaceful location.

We experienced cockroaches in the bed, which is unacceptable from a cleanliness standpoint. In addition, the power went out for an entire night, and despite contacting the host, no assistance was provided at the time. Because of these issues, we left early and stayed only 3 of the 7 nights originally booked. The host later promised a partial refund, but has stopped responding and never followed through. I would not recommend staying with this host.

Private beach was great. The old man on the property to very kind and helped us with anything we needed. Rides, beers for the fridge, and getting the grill started. He was there at pretty much all hours.

It’s a little outside of the actual downtown palomino but I knew that before going.

One of the best stays we ever had. We had the best time here, the house is wonderful you can settle down and enjoy the nature and chill in the best way here. The view, the private beach, the sun set is perfect and unbelievable. The family is magic, everyone helped us with all our needs. You can ask for transport or ordering food. The grandpa is really kind, we felt as a part of the family. We felt really welcome and sage. In addition, there is a house dog 🐕 which is really friendly and we lost our heart with him. All in all it can be said one of the best places I have ever visited. Thanks for having us and giving us the opportunity to enjoy the magic place.

Nothing, the only thing which is good to know is that the location is 10-12 mins. away by bus/transport from palomino. Getting to palomino is possible by using the public bus. Getting back in the night is not that easy, but can be organized by the host.

The views are great obviously. That's the only good thing about our experience. The house has a lot of potential as well, if properly managed.

The price point (1,000,000 COP for 2 nights for 2 people, ca. 115€ per night) does in no way reflect what we found. We stayed in another villa around the corner for 70€ per night run by a Frenc/Argentinian couple that was a dream come true. Especially in comparison, we felt downright scammed by this here: - extremely (!) filthy - dirty dishes - glass walls so stained it's a joke (in a house whose main feature are the views onto the sea!) - bathrooms stink - mold everywhere in bathrooms and bed room - ants invading every counter top in the kitchen - before we arrived (not like we left food there for days) - an ant street also in the cupboard in the bedroom invading my backpack and clothes - booked an "entire villa" with 4 beds to choose from - received 1 bedroom and a futon for my colleague to sleep on in the living room - no potable water option (they could at least install a dispenser) - no aircon (3/4 walls are glass, it gets extremely hot in there) - we were told to turn off the fans because there's only limited battery space (solar powered) - no mosquito nets installed to keep doors open (they had installed 1 upon our arrival in only 1 door, with a gap 10cm wide so it was useless and you couldn't open various doors for a draft) - really cheap kitchen utensils - not a single real glass, only plastic cups (and beer pong cups?) - very ugly plastic plates and bowls (I mean come on, this is supposed to be a "luxury" getaway) - the location is right next to the busiest highway in the area.

Everything was amazing, the view, the house, the beach, food, the on-site host who was always there for us. The best accommodation we had in Colombia.

it was like having a whole resort to yourself. Spectacular, beautiful, amazing, heavenly are some of the words I would use to describe the place as well as our host Mr. M. who is the most attentive, kindest, sweetest man you will ever meet. If I could take him home, in a heartbeat. He's like that special grandpapa everyone dreams about. The sounds of the waves are magnificent and there is a little river close by to swim in as well as the ocean right at your door step. I recommend 1000%. The staff as well as Edwin, Mr. M.'s grandson go above and beyond. Communication is stellar and anything you need, you will have within minutes. So responsive, so nice....they enhanced what was already the best experience we have ever had and we have travelled extensively all over the world! It was soooooooooo hard to leave. Thank you so much for your attentiveness, your kindness and sharing your little piece of heaven with us!

The stuff was very kind, helpful and attended. Señor Mochire and his attention and politeness was the reason of comfortable stay in the house.

The owner abuse me and my family. After we make a reservation he wanted to cancel it if we don’t make an agreement to pay more. Finally we pay him 250 dollars more but it wasn’t the end because in the moment of pay when we already reach the place he wanted to add 5% to all transaction. All services are paid additionally. For service of cleaning and laundry you have to pay additionally 50 000 pesos for cleaning and 10 000 pesos for kilo of laundry. You have to know you don’t use the service of cleaning the ants will eat You.

Everything was just perfect - we had a direct access to the beach, where we’ve been basically for ourselves. The view at the ocean is amazing and invites you to relax. Palomino is only 7km away and it’s pretty easy to get there. Which really makes the difference is the warm hearting people who supporting you with every wish and need you might have.

The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking ocean views that made each morning a delight. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space is a highlight, perfect for relaxing with a book or enjoying a sunset cocktail. The sound of the waves was incredibly soothing.
