Hotel Casalina

El lugar es hermoso. Lo más valioso es tener la habitación con vista al mar. Los lugares cercanos tienen los hospedajes más hacia el interior. La piscina es muy bonita, limpia y cálida. Es un lugar pequeño y privado. Hay lugares para cenar en la zona aledaña.

El acceso es lejano, uno de los últimos hoteles del sector. No hay señal en el trayecto y las especificaciones de llegada no eran tan claras.

La tranquilidad del lugar así como la amabilidad del personal siempre presto a cualquier inquietud y siempre solución

Es un lugar perfecto para descansar, para desconectarse, la atención es maravillosa, la comida deliciosa. Además es seguro, para mi es el paraíso.

Las instalaciones son cómodas, tiene acceso a la playa directa, el personal muy amable

No pudimos dormir porque justo al lado había una fiesta y el volumen era extremadamente alto. Por motivos de fuerza mayor teníamos que regresar un día antes de lo reservado, cuando fuimos a solicitar un reembolso o abono para una próxima oportunidad la respuesta fue un rotundo NO. Así que no volveremos.

Cerca a la playa, pero es imposible entrar al mar porque el oleaje es muy fuerte y hace mucho ruido en la habitación

No tienen aire acondicionado las habitaciones y las opciones de desayuno se quedan cortas con lo que ofrecen, se debe ajustar el mismo con adiciones y no me parece que sea así,.

Muy buen alojamiento, frente a la playa, las cabañas muy bien acondicionadas. La atención del personal, especialmente la señora Jhon Aida es excepcional.

Deben cambiar los ventiladores, son muy ruidosos y afectan el descanso.

Fantastiskt läge utanför Palomino. Allt du hörde var havet och fåglarna. Maten var fantastisk! Underbar promenad utefter stranden för att komma in till Palomino med dess restauranger och nattliv. Bara att ta en tuc tuc hem för 15 kr på kvällen,

Enda minuset var att wifi endast fungerade i receptionen.

Niets om je het gevoel te geven welkom te zijn zoals een extra kopje thee, een welkomsdrankje. Je moest voor alles extra betalen en de prijs was al behoorlijk hoog. Ik had ook wel een warme douche verwacht voor die prijs

Es un eco lodge, con baño exterior, mosquitero. Super bonito, muy diferente a hoteles tradicionales. Ideal para ir a desconectarse, leer, estar relajado. Tiene una playa bonita, aun no se la ha comido el mar como en otros sitios en palomino. El personal super querido, amable.

Lo unico que me hizo falta fue una piscina, ya que el mar es muy picado. La presión de la ducha no es tan fuerte, entonces no tienes un baño tan relajante.

Wer hier eincheckt, will nicht mehr weg! Die entspannte Atmosphäre ist einzigartig. Plant euch ein oder zwei Tage mehr ein, als euer erster Gedanke ist. Es lohnt sich!

Das Hotel ist perfekt für Leute die gerne Ruhe haben möchten. Die Anlage ist super ruhig und man hat alles was man braucht. Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und das Personal zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war auch jedes Mal super und es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Die Stadt ist sehr einfach zu erreichen, indem man einen der Busse, die bis 6 Uhr abends fahren, anhält.

Natürlich ist das Hotel etwas abgelegen, wenn man sich dafür aber bewusst entscheidet, ist das kein Problem. Der Wellengang und die Strömung am Strand sind sehr stark. Dafür kann aber das Hotel nichts

It’s very quiet. Nothing but the waves for noise. The beach is beautiful and wild. There are only 6 rooms as far as I could tell so it never gets crowded. Perfect if you want real peace and quiet.

The door to the room should have a key instead of a padlock - it doesn’t close properly from outside as the padlock fitting is loose.

We loved the beach and the room was super adorable with the outdoor area we could hang out in. The location was perfect for us because it was peaceful but close enough to town. We could take a ride there easily.

The bed could definitely be more comfortable, the noise from the street didn’t bother us too much. It would be nice if the property replaced their door latches so they are easier to use. Cold shower only, so we planned ours for hot afternoons.

El hotel está un poco retirado del pueblo,( 10 minutos en moto taxi aproximadamente) situación que se debe tener presente para los desplazamientos, si se planea salir mucho. Pero esto no fue problema para nosotros. Esta situación lo hace más exclusivo.

Tout était parfait ! Très bel hôtel sur une jolie plage avec une cuisine exceptionnelle. Le personnel est très à l écoute et vraiment très serviable Meilleur hôtel que nous ayons fait en Colombie durant notre séjour.

Prachtige locatie, mooie bungalows, heerlijk eten. Mooi verzorgd alles. Hier kun je echt heerlijk ontspannen.

Vriendelijk personeel maar service kan beter. Traag; eten duurt tot 1,5 uur. Foutjes in bestelling en rekening. Had uiteindelijk gevoel dat we teveel betaalden.

L'endroit est absolument magnifique. Plage superbe, jardin bien entretenu, bungalow adorable, avec une terasse donnant sur la plage et un hamac. On s'endort bercé par le bruit des vagues. Belle salle de bain en plein air sous les palmiers, quel plaisir ! On peut commander un repas sur place, délicieux et copieux. Excellent petit déjeuner 'maison' cuisiné frais.

Prinzipiell war es ganz nett, aber man muss wissen, was einen erwartet. Leider war ich eher negativ überrascht nachdem die Bewertungen so gut waren, waren es wohl meine Erwartungen auch. Leider kann ich das nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Nett war die Anlage war sehr gepflegt und das Personal bemüht konnte aber kein Wort Englisch was es schon sehr mühsam gemacht hat.

Die Lage ist schon sehr weit weg vom Schuss. Hier gibt es nichts. Ein tuktuk braucht zwar nur 5 min in die Stadt aber so oft kommt da keines vorbei. Die Hütten sind nett aber null isoliert, man hat das Gefühl man schläft im Freien. Das Meer ist sehr laut aber noch schlimmer sind die Autos und Trucks. Auch wenn man die Hütte hat die am weitesten weg ist, fühlt es sich an als würde man direkt neben der Straße schlafen. Unmöglich ohne ohropax. Das Wasser der duschen geht ausschließlich kalt. Man ist so weit weg, dass man hier kaum Empfang hat. Leider geht das wlan auch nur im Haupthaus. Sehr mühsam. Das Frühstück ist extrem wenig und nicht besonders gut. Man kann zwischen 5 Optionen wählen. Alles aber sehr basic. Wieso alle davon geschwärmt haben können wir leider auch nicht verstehen. Es liegt zwar am Strand aber man kann dort nicht ins Wasser gehen weil die Wellen so unruhig sind. Streunende Hunde gibt es dort auch. Aja und es wurde uns zu viel verrechnet, was wir dann mit Hand und Fuß und Google Translate richtig stellen mussten. War sicher keine Absicht, aber trotzdem sollte das nicht passieren bzw. könnte man es dann eleganter für den Gast lösen.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht, obwohl wir nicht viel spanisch sprechen. Das Essen war immer hervorragend und die Lage ist sehr entspannend am Meer, man schläft abends mit dem Meerrauschen ein. Restaurants gibt es nur in Palomino, dort kommt man mit dem Bus oder Tuk Tuk hin. Zum entspannen war es für uns für 3 Nächte genau das richtige.

Die Privatsphäre war toll, und die Lage mit dem privaten Strand war sehr schön.

In den Bungalows gab es offenbar Milben in den Betten, und wir wurden an den Beinen stark gebissen.

It’s a beautiful property with amazing beachfront and amazing staff. Food was also delicious.

Perfect for tranquility vacation. Calm and beautiful place. But if you looking something fun you need to take taxi.

Like of AC. Very hot at night. Lack of pool. You cannot really enter the sea. Waves are to strong.

De lokatie direct aan het strand, de stilte en rust, de afwezigheid van muziek waardoor het een genoegen is om de zee te kunnen horen, en daarbij toe te komen aan het lezen van een boek. De comfortabele huisjes zijn mooi vormgegeven met aandacht voor een natuurlijke, eenvoudige stijl.

De WiFi werkt niet voldoende betrouwbaar. Het zou een grote verbetering kunnen zijn als daar technisch aandacht aan wordt besteed.

Les falta mejorar la operación y el ambiente. El horario del restaurante es muy limitado, ya que cierra a las 8:00 p.m., lo cual es demasiado temprano. Sería recomendable contar con un bar o punto de bebidas en la playa, así como ampliar la cobertura de Wi-Fi a toda la zona del hotel, ya que actualmente solo funciona en el comedor y la recepción.

Nos gustó mucho la playa privada y la limpieza de los espacios. Hay buena privacidad entre las áreas. La cabaña estaba limpia y bien equipada: contaba con toallas para secarse después del mar y para los pies, jabones, shampoo, ganchos para la ropa, y todo lo necesario para una estadía cómoda. Incluso tenía un área exterior para enjuagarse la arena de la playa, lo cual fue muy práctico. En general, la experiencia fue muy agradable.

Los precios del restaurante son elevados, lo que genera una gran expectativa. Sin embargo, los platos fuertes, como la cazuela y el pescado en salsa de coco, no tenían buen sabor y la presentación fue bastante simple.

Excelente ubicación , la atención impecable

Staff/Owners are super friendly and helpful. Facilities are superb, it is beautifully built. Food is delicious. It is 5 minutes away by car from Palomino.

There is no air conditioning. Not sure if a big problem since the rooms are built in a way that interiors are not super hot, however, for this humid / hot weather conditions, AC would great.

This was a very relaxing place to stay we loved our individual cabin under the palm trees with a view of the sea. The staff were super nice and friendly and we enjoyed our breakfast and had some nice salads for lunch. In the evening we went into Palomino, which although small has a few nice bars and restaurants. During our stay the sea was always rough so we didn't risk going in too deep. We had a lovely chilled week here which was just what we were looking for.

It’s quiet and relaxing, close to the beach. The bungalow was clean and comfortable. The beach isn’t crowded because it’s located away from Palomino’s main and more active areas.

The breakfast didn't meet my expectations, it felt kind of simple. We went out to Palomino for dinner, and when we returned at midnight, we called the person in charge of opening the door to let him know we were coming back to the hotel. However, he responded rudely and complained about having to wait for us. We found this disrespectful and had a bad experience, especially considering that we are paying guests.

Diego and has team are absolutely amazing. It's a great place with a private beach. The resort is very private and hidden in the palm trees. We had everything what's needed, the bungalows are very eco and natural build with wood with nice white walls and floors. It has a nice restaurant and various choices of breakfast. 6min by tuk tuk to Palomino (you can also walk around 1h by the beach), 1h to Tayrona park and 2h to Santa Marta airport. We used both taxi and bus and both ways are okay, you can catch the bus right in front of the resort.

Good location, very charming, confortable beds

We didn’t know that the bungalows were not equipped with AC which made it somehow uncomfortable to sleep otherwise that were very nice and neat . Make sure you bring your repellent lots of it.The staff could be a little more flexible no complaints overall but there is a certain lack of flexibility.

It’s perfect. There aren’t many bungalows and it’s very spacious. Right on the best bit of beach along all of Palomino.

This place is perfect. The huts are beautiful and you’re on your own private beach. This whole stretch of beach is cut off from Palomino by river mouth and is empty and also much more beautiful. Just take a tuk tuk into town for 15k, it’s so worth it.

Absolutely nothing

Everything was wonderful! The place is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and quite.. perfect to relax and recharge your energies on a beautiful and basically private beach! Still you have good transportation if you wish to go to Palomino (5m) and have a bit more of movement and party. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable (I loved the open air WC) right in front of the beach. Food was delicious and all staff super friendly and paying attention to any needs. It was my favourite place in Colombia and I will definitely come back!! Thank you Casalina for the good energies 🍀

I loved everything!

We liked almost everything. Nice 6 cabañas at the beach within palm trees. Long beach to walk and watch the sunrises and sunsets. Restaurant opened from 7 am till 9 pm with the last order at 8 pm. The food is really tasty. They have the best colombian cook and other helping ladies. Outside bathroom was a nice experience. Communication with the reception lady via WhatsApp and ordering food via WhatsApp so all is on time. We would stay again without any hesitation.

The property itself is beautiful! Location is perfect, very peaceful, the beach is one step away. The sound of the ocean is just amazing. Food in the restaurant (a la carte) is delicious.

They could be more creative with the breakfast.

Amazing location. Beautiful and comfortable bungalow. Deli food. We have been here many times over the past few years and we always love it. Francis was lovely and helpful and took great care of us.

It would be nice to have a kiddies menu available. A small pool for kids will also be great due to the fact that the ocean is so wild. We missed the hammocks and the security boxes in the rooms that were there before.

Just a stunning place, beautiful cabins only metres from the sea. Lots of tree cover. A hammock and two long sofa-type cushions in each outdoor area. Private, open-air shower and toilet area. And a weird and lovely soft foggy light too thanks to the humidity.

One small, tiny gripe - there's no night porter so the gate is closed and locked at 10pm. If you drive into town and come back after 10pm you'll have to leave the car outside and clamber over the fence to get in.

You can hear the sea at night (nice!) but also lot of trucks coming by as the lies by the road. I would consider installing windows in the cabana as the noise of the traffic was loud. But it would still still stay there!

Nothing, everything was great!

Staff was very friendly, it was a bit of a shame that nobody spoke a word of English, or tried to talk a little bit slower Spanish. Breakfast was super, rooms were very good, nice beds at the beach. Distance to the town was a bit long, only transport was a tuc tuc, which was over the busy road a bit scary. Diner was okay, perhaps some more little bites for during the day would be nice.

Beautifully located with a remote and super calm beautiful beach. The fresh crepes for breakfast were out of this world. The bungalow is super nice and to hear the ocean at night was special.

A very nice resort with a super team

It is between a very noisy road and a dangerous beach we could only sleep a few short slots per night Fortunately we found a local driver for activities and diners in Palomino but it is distant from the fun. If this place would have a pool and a active bar it would be so much better

Location is great. Very peaceful place. Although they were full we only saw the other guests at the restaurant.

Mosquito net in one of the beds was not properly installed and it was very uncomfortable to sleep
