An incredible week at Jaydy Hostel! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. The entire team is genuinely kind, always smiling, helpful, and available whenever we needed anything. They gave us great advice, organized trips for us, and even helped with scooter rentals, making our stay completely stress-free. A special mention to Jaydy, who was truly the heart and soul of this place. He is an amazing host always present, attentive, and ready to help. More than that, he creates unforgettable memories for his guests. We shared incredible moments together, from fun nights out to inspiring conversations about travel, business, and life, with plenty of laughs along the way. What makes this hostel special is not just the facilities, but the people. You don’t feel like a customer here you feel at home. Leaving was difficult because of the genuine connections and beautiful memories we made, but that’s exactly what makes a place unforgettable. I recommend Jaydy Hostel 100% to anyone looking for more than just a bed. J’ai passé un séjour incroyable, grâce à Jaydy et sa famille je me suis sentie comme à la maison. Toujours disponible pour donner des recommandations, que ce soit sur les activités, les restaurants ou encore les sorties. Le logement était simple mais idéal, le dortoir est toujours silencieux pour ceux qui souhaitent se reposer et le lit confortable. À proximité de nombreux restaurants et bar festifs. Merci Jaydy pour ton hospitalité et pour les soirées qu’on a passé ensemble !

Brilliant location, and the host Jaydy was super friendly, he really made the trip for me!

Super friendly host who will do anything he can to help you, offering great advice and locations. Hostel itself is super clean and comfortable, couldn't fault it! Stayed here fot a few nights before heading North of the island, would have been happy to stay longer otherwise :). Recommend staying here if you want to be to be slightly out of town but still close enough to walk into it. (10-15 minutes) (Great coffee shop opposite for the mornings)

We stayed about five nights at the Jaydy Hostel and it was amazing. The young owner of the hostel even took my friend and me to a family celebration. Such an awesome experience – I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Creo que es el mejor hostel en el que he estado hasta ahora en Filipinas. Los colchones son maravillosos, hay un silencio absoluto y el baño es de los mejores. La habitación está oscura y fresca. Jaydy, el anfitrión es maravilloso. Está atento y te va a ayudar en lo que necesites. El hostel tiene una zona exterior con una mesita y un banco y tiene cuerda para tender la ropa. También tiene una zona de estar con pufs y buena conexión a internet. La localización es perfecta porque está al lado de General Luna pero lo suficientemente apartado para que no te moleste el bullicio.

Jaydy is amazing! And the hostel is in a perfect position, close to general luna but far from all the noise! They were simply amazing!

There is not hot water, but is not a big problem with the temperature of Philippines

The place is very cozy and its near to intergrated terminal if you want to go in Dapa or Airport

There’s a mosquitoes in the lounge area but I think its manageable.

Best sleep I’ve ever had in a hostel. Super dark and quite inside the dorm. Everyone very respectful and nice vibe. Very close to the town and amazing thrift shopping spot just 1 min walking distance. And Jaydy the owner is super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend

Jaydy owner kind and friendly. He helped me for everything. Bed sheet was clean smell. He was clean washroom everymorning and free water in enterance. Best thing is locker for money

Room is not fresh smell because they dont open window and door. Thats why need some fresh sprey for smell. Also some guest come inside with shoes or slippers. Floor was not clean. Should give penalty for this

La ubicación es genial, super cerca de las calles principales pero a la vez es una zona tranquila, sin mucho ruido. El chico que lo lleva es muy amable, el aire funciona oki y las camas comodas y limpias :)

Como casi en todas partes en Filipinas no hay agua caliente, pero con el calor que hace no se lleva tan mal 🤟🏼

Muy cerca del centro, a dos calles y tranquilo. Las camas eran cómodas y los lavabos estaban en buenas condiciones.

Best value for money hostel for solo travellers. Location was near the center but far enough from the noise. Jaydy was also very accomodating. Highly recommended budget stay in the island

Jaydy Hostel is a nice an comfortable hostel with a nice, clean and quiet dorm. The showers and toilets were clean and the location is good from the Main Street.

The room was comfortable and the bathroom was pretty nice- it was cleaned every day and the staff were really lovely

The AC went off for a couple hours each day which is understandable but it makes it hard to sleep during the day if you’re wanting to rest.

Nice small hostel with only one room (with 8 or 10 beds). Clean, comfortable beds, sockets and light to each bed, very dark room good for sleep with AC. Common area to chat with others. Separate generator for wifi, so even in power outage, the wifi worked very well.

Some walking time from the town and restaurants, but most of the people have scooter anyway. They can help you to rent a scooter from neighbors but they dont have many. I just walked little further on the street and rented directly. There is water dispenser in the common room but half of the time it was empty. Even when we asked for water, it took about two days to get the new barrel. Very small parking space in front of the gate.

Good value for the money, the dorm was quiet and the bed comfortable, nice for a few nights. The hostel is not the most social but there is a small common room which is nice to make friends.

Cold water, bathroom and shower could be cleaned more often since we are sharing them with many people; but they are okay :)

The hosts were super nice! Thank you for the hospitality 😊 I’m a female solo traveler and i felt super safe! There are CCTV everywhere so no worries about your stuff too. Location wise, it’s perfect. You can park your scooter in front of the hostel. 100% recommend and will be back for sure !

I had a great stay at Jaydy hostel. Jaydy is such a great host and person, welcoming, caring and helpful. He gives really good advices. The place is cosy, with family vibes. He also has some cool books. And I love his auntie's kittens, they are so cute and playful. I also liked the fact that the hostel is walking distance to the city center. I love the bunk beds, the air-conditioned room, the personal light and power outlet, the provided vault for the belongings, the comfort room and shower room that were clean, the clean and aesthetic design of everything, the sala area, the guitar and ukelele and of course the host, Sir Jaydy.

Great hostel, quiet, human-sized, clean and well-equipped. You are 10 minutes walk from General Luna and everything you are looking for. I renewed for an additional week because I liked it so much. And the host is just as great! One of the best value for money on the island.

I love staying at Jaydy! Kuya Jaydy, the owner was very accommodating. We initially stay for a week only and I ended up extending more. Location was perfect, few minutes away from the main area. Easy to hire a tuktuk or even rent a motorbike from the owner. The hostel is very secure, each bunk bed has own security box, 2 pillows and a comfy mattress. Toilet are always clean. Lots of books you can choose at the lounge area.

The price for extending stay was a bit pricey but it's worth it anyway. I mean, I've been traveling in asia, The Philippines isn't really that cheap country lol

Had the privacy I want even if I’m on a bunkbeds. Hope sooner the place will be installed with a full size mirror

The hostel is perfect to take a rest in Siargao and also is in a good place, easy to get tours and to go to a Party. The staff person was very friendly and helpful.

The place is cozy and the neighborhood is friendly. Quite a walk to the main Poblacion district but public vehicles are readily available and walking was a better option to enjoy roaming around Siargao

Location was good for someone like me who did not want to stay close the party strip. This hostel is very quiet. The bunk beds are bigger than regular single beds. The AC in the room worked well. Internet was fast too. Place was always clean and well maintained. Owner replied promptly to any concerns.

Nothing. I liked everything here. It’s like a homestay with local insights of the island. If you want a party hostel, go somewhere else. If you want to have a good comfortable sleep after a full day of island activities, stay here.

Jaydy is a wonderful host with a great talent for hospitality and has fantastic plans for the future of his place. Beds were very comfortable, I liked that the room was very dark all the time (not much light needed tho). If there were problems, Jaydy was quick and highly interested of finding a good solution. And big bonus point, I too felt very safe.

Loved everything about this hostel, I was suppose to stay 1 week and ending up staying 1 month. It’s perfect for solo travelers looking for a calm and friendly vibe. The hostel manager Jaydy is the friendliest, he is very accommodating and is making sure you feel at home. The hostel is brand new and made of 1 room of 10 bunk beds. The beds are comfy, the AC works well, and it’s very quiet at night and well situated. I was sad to leave and will be back there for sure!

Jaydy was super nice and helpful. He put us in contact with the surf instructor, booked the shuttle to the airport, recommended places and was always there if you needed anything. The hostel is very neat, beds super comfortable, ac works amazingly and it's close to the main streets

There's not that much storage space as the shelves are narrow and there's no lockers, but the corridor is wide so the backpacks won't be blocking the way

Jaydy is a great host! Before I arrived, he sent a message to let me know costs and how to get there from the airport. As soon as I arrived, he recommended places to visit and told me how much tuk tuks are, so I could negotiate prices 🙂 he arranged tours, you could hire a scooter and he helped me find somewhere to fix my phone. He booked a transfer to the airport for me. It was clean everywhere. There was hot water for the shower and he provided free water refills. The WiFi and air conditioning worked perfectly. It's within walking distance of restaurants, shops and ATMs. I really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it

It’s a new hostel so everything is nice and tidy. It’s been a long time since I haven’t slept that well in a hostel.

The patio in front of the hostel is not finish, but I am sure it will look super nice !

The place is incredible and really cheap. I didn't spect I was going to have such a nice week. I stayed there 6 nights. The owner Jady is incredibly friendly and helpfull, also his wife Abigail and their two daughters. You also have a kitchen for preparing your own food and coffee all the mornings. The wifi is fast and they have also motorbikes for renting. I will repeat next time I go there for sure. I met a lot of people too. It was the best experience in the phillipines.

Curtains blocked out light and gave privacy; small lockbox and outlet conveniently next to each bed, and quiet part of town yet walking distance/5 min motorbike away from the main road; the kindest host; nice aircon in the rooms were perfect for the painfully hot summer season.

Jaydy the owner is so friendly, kind, helpful, respectful, social. He’s very organised and replys very fast if you have a question. We had an AC in our room :).

Maybe some hooks to hang our towels in the shower.

The beds are very confortable and the host Jaydy is very nice ! He gives good tips and is always there when you need him ! There is air conditioning, so at least you cool down during the night. I really recommend this place ! It’s also well located !

It’s a brand new hostel and everything is so clean! The mattresses are comfy, the softest blankets, good water pressure (shower) but most important: Jayde is the best host and he makes sure you’re having a good time staying here. Highly recommend.

My stay at Jaydy Hostel was amazing. The owner is really nice. The location is good and the showers are clean and well kept.

I really liked the way Jayde welcomed me. He's someone who listens to his customers. He gives you excellent advices and his very helpful for all. (Exemples: scooter rentals, activities, evening outings and airport transfers). The cleanliness of the rooms and the quality of the mattresses were perfect. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe. In the evenings, Jayde came with a friend to play guitar and sing with us. He's an incredible singer. The atmosphere were perfect and this memories will stay with me forever. Thanks you for everything.
