Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Owner of the property went above and beyond to make sure we had all that we needed.
The weather could have been kinder.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Large house with all the facilities we required. 4 double bedrooms and one had an en-suite, bathroom had bath and shower and downstairs toilet as well. Private parking, with nice garden.
Was too much of a walk to the town centre.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2025The living room had a beautiful fireplace with coal which was a real treat in the evening and allowed my husband to be in his element burning some turf

Reviewed Aug 4, 2025The location for us was great. The size of the property was also excellent for a family
A little more attention to detail would be great. For example the bulb in the en-suite bathroom wasn’t working - which meant not being able to use the loo at night. There was no frying pan (but we did ask for one). There wasn’t really enough cutlery for us as a family of 5. Not enough forks and only 2 tea spoons. The dish sponge left was old and dirty. The TV also only worked for Netflix. We missed being able to just have normal TV on in the mornings.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2024Such a friendly host. Nothing was any bother. Left logs and coal for the fire and helped with all the kids channels getting set up. Lovely welcome basket on arrival full of treats. Warm, clean, hot water, plenty of blankets and towels. Close to cafes and shops within walking distance and everything else is a short drive away. Our 3 kids loved their stay and the beautiful garden full of flowers. Private parking and dog friendly too which was a huge bonus for us. Would definitely stay here again.
