Ubicación y personal

Las instalaciones están regulares, las camas y sus accesorios son antiguos y poco como cómodas

The hotel is located on a quiet street, so you can be sure to get some rest. We were there for just one night and appreciated having a mini-fridge to keep breakfast. On this visit (we booked two separate stays), our room had a little enclosed patio, and we enjoyed having our breakfast there. From the patio, we had natural light and fresh air.

The room was a bit dated and the mattress was saggy and a bit uncomfortable.

Quiet neighborhood. We had a cooked-to-order breakfast at the hotel for only 16,000 COP per person. Great water pressure in the shower.

The room faced the interior of the hotel, so the only natural light was from the roof skylight. The room was a bit warm, but we just used the fan. The furnishings were a bit dated.

Confort

Everthing was ok

Clean and convinient. Quiet area

Moved from room F to G. Internet signal on G was very weak.

Nice small hotel Good rooms Good breakfast

Not much

Friendly, helpful staff. Good, quiet location

The room was rather tiny, with not much space or comfort. I expected a little more for this price.

The property was clean, the staff was super friendly even they called me to ask if I wanted the room of my family to be cleaned because they forgot to put the signal in the door! That never happened to me and I appreciate it a lot

The shower door was difficult to open, and also the soap dispenser was broken

Friendly staff like Dary,Lina,Ana, Margot, laura,Santiago and most especially to Carlos Molina ( Manager).

No nearby convience stores

Location... Was excellent.. same as accommodation and staff... Friendly bilingual

The breakfast was ample. Eggs (any style), solo or mixed with one choice of tomato/onion; ham; sausage. Choice of fruit; pineapple or papaya. Mini croissants, arepa, butter, jam. Orange juice (not fresh-squeezed). Unlimited self-serve coffee or coffee with warm milk. The staff is very helpful and friendly. You receive the kind of quality service you usually only get from higher priced hotels. The hotel is located on a quiet street and small park. Very hot shower and pressure. Not many rooms. Small hotel. Great value!

The bathroom is clean but it is dated if that matters to you. Color palette is tan/beige but accompanies the dark wood armoire, window treatments and headboard. The door is light/thin. If you have loud talking guests in the hallway you will hear them. If you don't speak Spanish you might have difficulties making special requests at breakfast. Use your translator, the staff is patient. The front desk staff speak limited English but are very helpful.

Everything the place was great and the staff as well very helpful

Nothing

Staff were lovely. Room was spacious and clean. Good shower and great to have a fan and a balcony. Breakfast was good.

Bed was harder than usual.

Loved the location! Beautiful neighbourhood that has many restaurants in walkable distance. The staff were really lovely and friendly.

The room was really warm, as we didn't have a window we can open. The only window we had was in the bathroom and the other was locked shut and looked into our neighbours balcony. We kept the curtains closed for privacy, so minimal natural light or fresh air. The breakfast options were minimal if you don't eat eggs....😭 Would have appreciated a kettle in our room so we can make our own tea and coffee.

Quiet location by a river with some good food options close by. Rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff friendly and welcoming

Not close to public transport links so need to take taxis.

Great location. Superb staff. Nice clean rooms.

Breakfast was terrible :(

Everything!

Nice folks, secure, have cold water available, front desk is working 24/7

Beds were rather uncomfortable, no AC (just for folks to know) and it got pretty hot. Opening a window or using a fan did not help

The room was spacious and quiet. We had a fridge in the room and a hot drinks dispenser downstairs

It wasn’t clearly signed, so taxi drivers had some problems finding it

The breakfast.

The facilites, do not have elevators and air conditioning.

25 minutes walk to the metro. close to a big shopping mall and a nice neighborhood. The staff was helpful but the wifi was real weak.

The mattress was too thin, and not comfortable to sleep on. Wifi was almost not there and very slow.

Staff was very nice and helpful.

Na

Spacious huge apartment. Quiet peaceful neighborhood right outside the action. The staff were accomadating and very pleasant

Extremely friendly people! Very helpful! I am was really impressed! They even stored our luggage for free for a week after we left for an excursion. Always trying to help us... this is Colombia at its best!

Be prepared that the street is loud... well, thats Medellin...

The wifi was not the best. The bathroom were not as clean as expected

the staff was wonderful, welcoming and assisted with everything needed. the atmosphere was quiet, safe, clean and friendly.

I would improve: 1. the hot water in the shower so it would be faster and stronger. 2. renew the pillows

Great Value and safe clean location. 120,000 pesos per night included a good breakfast. Owner speaks English and was a friendly helpful host. Interior had a certain aged charm. Staff kept the place clean and the bed was comfortable. Taxis are available, but only short 6 or 7 blocks to walk for food and bar. Wish I would have taken a room with a balcony and stayed longer. I recommend Casa Rosales for being a great value.

No complaints, no elevator, but not a deal breaker even with my bad knees.

Clean and the staff very nice

Check out was very early 11 am The hotel was not to be noticed because the size of the board was very small

Clean and practical rooms. Very friendly staff, central location, good prices for Medellin

Maybe not for people who like stay in bed late. You’ll hear some planes early in the morning. Still, it didn’t bother me

Very pleasant stay. The property, though outdated, is very well-maintained and clean. The whole staff, from the reception to the kitchen and cleaning crew, were so pleasant and friendly. The location is great, close to a mall, and a supermarket, and has numerous options to work out. Definitely recommend the stay!

Excellent staff. Lovely room. Secure location. I felt like part of the family.😊 I highly recommend Casa Rosales.

Santiago was amazing, so respectful, helpful and kind. He made it all better and more enjoyable! Breakfast was good and everything was very clean.

The toilet was loose, the sink was clogged and water overflowed. There's a leak in the bathroom when it rains. Bed was too uncomfortable. Lighting was poor. I stayed in room E.

Todos buen

Todos buen

Very nice staff, clean, good breakfast

The place is great. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and just as shown in pictures. The breakfast was delicious. A great night stay for a couple of nights.

We are 2 backpapckers, and it is a bit far from any nightlife. It is perfect to relax and recover, but not close to restaurants and bars.

The Staff was so kind

N/A

The homey atmosphere and pleasant employees.

The location is very convenient. Restaurants, supermarkets, a barbeshop, a 24hr cafe, and a mall all just a few minutes away by foot. You’re looking for some nightlife? Five minute walk from the closet nightclub. The surrounding neighborhood is pretty much all residential, so not much activity going on throughout the day. But entertainment is not far away. The staff were very attentive and helpful. I would honestly at times feel as if I were their only guest so they did everything they could to make sure I was taken care of.

I’m not sure if all showers are the same within the property, but my showerhead would only shoot out a very concentrated stream of water. If that’s how it’s supposed to be, then so be it. But I also never inquired about it, so that’s why it’s not really a dealbreaker. But mainly the fact there are no safes is what I disliked the most about my stay here.

Staff were very helpful but would nice if could speak a little more English.

Airconditioning in the rooms

Very safe area in Belem Medellin with few but nice coffee/restaurants a few minutes walk. 10min from the Fatima metro station

Nice staff Clean rooms Traditional home stay like interior

Little noisy from airport

The place exceeded expectations regarding the price

Perhaps the fact that it hasn't air conditioning just a fan

Very basic place, no fuss. Casa Rosales is a nice little hotel in a good neighborhood, close to Laureles' busier streets but nicely tucked in, with a very welcoming personnel. I had a spacious room with a big bathroom, and it was more than enough.

The hotel can get a little noisy, since the windows point either to inside the echoic hotel hallway, or outside to the street with no sound proofing. The building itself is directly underneath the airplane path, and the Olaya Herrera airport is less than a kilometer away. The first arrival is 6.23 every week day, and you will wake up to it.

The staff was very friendly, communicative and helpful. The room was very spacious with a tv and mini fridge. My private bathroom was really phenomenal! Large and clean, had two large mirrors, lots of shelves and great water pressure in the shower. The internet was fast and reliable. Breakfast was very good and convenient. The neighborhood was shockingly quiet for Medellín with a beautiful park across the street.

The staff were very helpful and a good breakfast.

Location was noisy and not the most convenient for sightseeing in the city but this is reflected in the price

The room was big. Nice sun light

Some staff was a bit confused about the information

Professional and friendly staff, spacious and very clean facilities

There eas not a lift (an elevator)

The stuff is amazing, they are so nice , helpful, honest, and realy care

large apartament patio kitchen welcoming and accomodating staff location - close to store and restaurants

location - too far to metro station

Staff was friendly, breakfast, wifi connection was very good most of the time. Located in residential area, without walking distance to area with lots of restaurants, and Calle 70 (nightlife). Felt safe.

Close to airport, the airplanes will wake you up on the morning. No AC, only 1 loud fan, and small window. Our on second floor was very warm. Most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. You will need a taxi to get to El Centro and El Poblado

very clean and neat

old spaces and rooms

the staff were very friendly and always helped me out in English. Saìn especially was very helpful and friendly

very nice staff

all was good

Nice friendly staff. Free coffee and you could fill your water bottle. Comfy bed. Handy to shopping mall and for us Motorbike shops.

Bathroom was a bit small.

The personal attention provided by the staff and the location.

if you’re a light sleeper, the fact that planes leaving Olaya Airport start flying at 6 AM might be an issue.

Suuuuuper nice staff an helpful! Great big house to have your stay. They also kept our luggage safe for a few days when traveling, big thanks! Room was very space and clean. Would recommend this place!

super clean place and very kind staff.

noisy.

A nice quiet room with plenty of space, very clean, cool and good facilities. Extremely helpful and friendly staff at the front desk, who did everything they could to help despite my lack of Spanish.

Not being able to remove breakfast from the room cost, as we left too early to receive it - though I’m more upset we didn’t get to try it than the cost issue!

Very clean in a quiet neighborhood, it was all we needed it to be for a very good value. Also we had a huge bathroom.

It was somewhat out of the way, everything was at least an Uber ride away, albeit a short one. The lack of ac was really not a problem for us in July, the weather was temperate.
