This place is amazing! Hosts Teresa and Tony are great! The setting is perfect and so peaceful and quiet. The facilities are exceptional. The breakfast is tasty and healthy and sourced locally. This is one of the most comfortable and relaxing stays we have ever had anywhere. Absolutely recommended!

Lovely stay and Xhale Azores in Terceira. We had a very relaxing time, hosted by the Xhale team and enjoyed the peace of the hotel, the facilities (pool with sea views, very well equipped gym, and spa) and a good breakfast every morning. Highly recommended if you want to disconnect and have some quality time in the nature. Also quite convenient location to move around Terceira island with car. Comfortable beds, rooms with good views and a very nice common area. We tried the yoga classes and rented snorkelling kits, all super good. We'll come back :)

Es ist von Natur umgeben und trotzdem ist man sehr schnell in einem Städtchen. Es hat zudem einen nahen Meerzugang. Die Wellnessausstattung ist sehr schön und man teilt sie mit nicht so viel Gästen da das Hotel sehr überschaubar und klein ist. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich.

Unglaublich schöne Lage mit einem wunderbaren Außen- Infinitypool mit direkten Blick auf den Atlantik und Liegemöglichkeiten. Die Zimmer waren großartig und alles war immer sehr gründlich gereinigt. Ein großartiges und gesundes Frühstück bestehend aus regionalen Zuraten hat einen wunderbaren Start in den Tag ermöglicht. Ruhige Lage. Ein Ort zum Erholen und genießen:)

Naprosto nádherné ubytování. Velmi klidná lokalita, která splnila naše představy. Paní majitelka byla velmi milá a pozorná. Milovali jsme každý detail ubytování. Cítili jsme se tam vítání a velmi jsme si pobyt užili.

Alles - wir würden ein Rating von 15 geben :-). Es war ein sehr, sehr herzlicher und traumhafter Aufenthalt. Es fühlte sich an, als ob wir Ferien bei unserer Familie machen - wie eine wohltuende Umarmung. Das Personal und die Gastgeber Teresa und Toni - phantastisch. Bei Fragen und auch sonst haben sie jederzeit unterstützt und tolle Tipps parat gehabt. Die Anlage ist wunderschön am Meer mit viel grün und Fläche drumherum, wenige Häuser - kaum zu toppen. Ein paar wenige Gehminuten, eine hübsche Bucht zum Schnorcheln, Schwimmen und "Sein". "Sein" und zur Ruhe kommen - definitiv im Xhale. Einatmen ... Ausatmen, ... Einatmen ... die Ruhe geniessen und dieser wahnsinnig schöne Blick und die Grosszügigkeit der Anlage mit wenigen Zimmern, aber umso mehr Platz für jeden Gast. Der Pool ist fast am Meer, man hört das Meeresrauschen. Sauna und das Dampfbad grosszügig - sehr angenehm nach einem Tag draussen in der Natur und beim Wandern. Es hat auch einen Fitnessraum sowie einen Yoga-Raum mit jeweils hochwertigem Equipment, im Garten eine überdachte Yoga-Hut. Während wir vor Ort waren, teilten wir das Resort mit einer Yoga-Gruppe von 18 Personen, welche einen Yoga-Retreat gebucht hatten. Wir hätten es mit den Ladies nicht besser treffen können. Unser Zimmer hat uns sehr gut gefallen - gross, super Dusche und Wasserdruck, sehr sauber, bequeme Betten schöne Aussicht auf die Bucht, Meer und Küstenlinie. Ruhig. Das Frühstück war immer wieder etwas anders mit kanadischem Touch. Alles sehr frisch. Sehr yammi. Und am Morgen auf der Terrasse mit diesem Blick aufs Meer zu frühstücken - da kann es nur ein guter Tag werden. Und dank einer Flugverschiebung konnten wir vier Nächte statt zwei Nächte bleiben. Wir waren so happy, dass wir diesen superschönen und maximal erholsamen Aufenthalt im Xhale geniessen durften. Wir werden auf jeden Fall eines Tages wiederkommen - die Insel Terceira und das Xhale haben einen ganz besonderen Platz in unseren Herzen eingenommen.

The hotel is located in a very quiet place, you can see sunrise and enjoy the silence. It’s a perfect place for relaxing and getting away from the busy city lives. Unfortunately we only stayed one night, didn’t have time to enjoy Yoga, Sauna and other facilities. If you have time, stay a little bit longer, would be perfect.

Xhale is peaceful comfort. The grounds and facilities are excellent, the breakfast is delicious and healthy. The views are fantastice and the staff is helpful and lovely. I loved staying at Xhale and highly recommend it!

Para o nível altíssimo apresentado no resto, o pequeno almoço deixou muito a desejar, sinceramente foi a única coisa que não acompanhou toda a experiência.

Simply a perfect place. Beautiful, spacious, and very well maintained. Tercecia and Tony are the perfect hosts, and the same can be said for everyone who works with them. The breakfast was excellent, the views were fantastic, and the whole atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended!

Simpatia e profissionalismo do pessoal da receção e restaurante. Comodidades de Bem-Estar principalmente a piscina que a água é aquecida. A vista é magnífica.

Very clean amazing view, things about anything, especially and we got assistance we needed it in the reception.

Wonderful fresh and organic food, caring staff and a great view of the ocean. They organized an amazing coastal hike and delivered lunch. The facilities were amazing with saunas, yoga room, outdoor pool. While lounging at the pool we saw whales.

All good, if you like nature and want to be away from the town then this is the place to be. I did not stat in the originally booked room from booking.com but everything was lovely.

Every detail of Xhales is thought through and perfect, amid spectacular surroundings. Super friendly staff, great (and healthy) breakfast, and a very nice spa with sauna, steam bath, and well-supplied fitness room. Coming here is a good reason to visit the Azores.

Only that we could not stay longer.

La ubicación en un lugar excepcional, unas instalaciones de lujo y el trato como si estuvieras en casa, además de la limpieza impecable.

Espaço do circuito spa e ginásio muito agradável. Quarto bem acomodado e casa de banho impecável e com tudo o que é necessário.

D'apres le parking au 4/5 vide l'hotel était quasiment désert.Or,notre chambre donnait sur le parking.Pourquoi pas vers la mer vu la tres rare fréquentation. Le dernier matin nous arrivons dans la salle du petit déjeuner que l'on commençait déjà à "déménager"(étagère vidée)

Localização do quarto excelente, virada para o nascer do sol. O pequeno almoço muito bom e a respectiva sala com uma vista magnifica. As funcionárias muito simpáticas e eficientes.

A falta de um jacuzzi no SPA. Também seria muito bom ter um acesso interior do hotel para o SPA, principalmente para os dias chuvosos de inverno.

The breakfast was exceptionally made and the food varied from day to day which made each morning a little surprise! The staff was very forthcoming and friendly - the cook would always chat with us in the morning and even the owners passed by to introduce themselves. Everything was very personal and you could see and feel the love that is being poured into this hotel!

Welcoming and peaceful location facing the ocean. Specious brand new rooms, well equipped and comfortable. The owners were wonderful and really gave us the impression to be at home. The pool outside had a stunning view. Everything was just perfect and we enjoyed every moment at Xhales.

L'albergo è molto carino e accogliente. La posizione è carina, la vista dal terrazzo è mozzafiato. La piscina all'esterno e la sauna sono veramente gradevoli. Le camere sono pulite, si sta bene. La colazione sana è veramente una coccola in più. Lo chef è spettacolare! Complimenti!

Ci è capitato un giorno in cui lo chef era di riposo. Come giusto che sia. Peccato che durante la sua assenza la colazione era esteticamente bella, ma il gusto... Insomma... Molto particolare il dolce vegano con l'impasto non mescolato 😄 Pazienza, gli altri 2 colazioni avevano bilanciato l'esperienza😊

Pequeno almoço não era muita diversidade, mas variava todos os dias era o suficiente, vista maravilhosa Empregados muito simpáticos todos 😃

Si vous chercher un petit coin de paradis, il faut venir ici sur l'ile de Terceira. Sauna, salle de sport, piscine extérieure. Environnement fantastique et calme absolu. Gentillesse, compétence et discrétion du personnel. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres, modernes et confortables. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel. Rien, tout est parfait.

Neues, kleines und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes Hotel das Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit legt. Es gibt einen Infinity-Pool, 2 Saunen und einen Fitnessraum. Zusätzlich können Yogakurse (gegen Aufpreis, aber klare Empfehlung!) gebucht werden. Das (vegetarische) Frühstücksbuffet variiert täglich etwas und wird mit vielen Liebe und toller Blütendeko angerichtet. Die Aussicht vom Frühstücksraum auf das Meer ist wunderschön. Wasser, Tee, Kaffee und Obst stehen den ganzen Tag kostenfrei zur Verfügung. Die Zimmer sind ebenfalls sehr schön und die Dusche ist ein Traum 😁. Vom Balkon aus konnten wir jeden Tag den Sonnenaufgang ☀️ beobachten. Fußläufig gibt es einen Badestrand. Restaurants liegen ein paar Autominuten entfernt. Hervorheben möchte ich auch noch das sehr freundliche, herzliche und immer hilfsbereite Hotelpersonal! Vielen Dank für alles 🫶, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Vielleicht könnte man noch eine Wäscheleine/Wäscheständer für die Gäste zur Verfügung stellen um z. B. Handtücher und nasse Sport- und Badekleidung zu trocknen.

Das Frühstück, die Lage und der Blick über das Meer, alle waren super freundlich, ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden, das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel. Wir würden jeder Zeit wiederkommen.

Beautiful, new construction in contemporary style situated on ocean front. Comfortable furnishings, sizeable room and appreciated the private outdoor porch. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. More than adequate parking on premises.

Not many restaurant choices nearby and mostly best accessed via car. (Some guests will prefer the somewhat isolated location.) No access from property directly to ocean, but a beach is nearby and property has a lovely pool with nice lounge furniture onsite.

This hotel is just amazing! We had a wonderful stay there. The breakfast was super good and had a lot of different choices. The owners are very friendly and all of the staffs we interacted with were super nice and extremely polite. Very well situated and super clean. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Everything was perfect : a new, wonderful ,calm and clean hotel with everything you need. Good location, friendly and polite stuff . Cecilia is simply incredible. Breakfasts from the chef are fantastically delicious, like works of art, great quality, great ingredients with amazing views.Thank you very much. We had great time.

Das Zimmer war schön, sauber und liess bei der Ausstattung keine Wünsche offen. Die Angestellten waren alle sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Insbesondere der grossartige Koch gab uns nebst dem ausgezeichneten Frühstück (tägliches Highlight!) jeden Tag sehr gute Ausflugstipps. Die Fitnessgeräte waren topmodern und das SPA war klein aber sehr schön. Man benötigt für den Aufenthalt unbedingt ein Mietauto und kann so die ganze Insel sehr einfach erkunden. Wir schätzten das Umweltbewusstsein des Hotels.

Es wäre schön etwas näher, sprich in Gehdistanz mehr Optionen für das Abendessen zu haben.

Fantastic hotel, would 100% recommend. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Probably the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had! Unlimited access to the coffee machine. Loads of easy parking. Great location. Lovely pool and spa. The room was very large and had a powerful shower. Everyone was new as the hotel was only been open for a year. We had a problem with our flight - it was delayed by 6 hours until after 3am, so Tony (the hotel owner), kindly picked us up (as the taxi ranks were closed). The hotel staff had excellent communication when discussing our delayed flight problem through the booking.com website.

what a nice owners that created a wonderful spot on the island. Come and visit them as they have wonderful rooms with great breakfast available.They also have a spa but to be honest, visited that only for 10 mins after dinner as I was a bit late

Os funcionários foram muito atenciosos — chegámos tarde e prontamente se disponibilizaram a encomendar comida para o hotel. A cama era muito confortável e o spa, com sauna e banho turco, está aberto até às 22h.

We enjoyed everything about the property. The owners have really gone out of their way to make sure that Xhale is one of a kind!

Very cool, modern eco resort close to the two major towns/fishing villages but in a rural setting along the ocean and with lovely views. Sauna and Turkish Bath is part of the package. Great locally sourced vegetarian-like breakfast with warm and helpful staff. Free parking and easy access to the island airport, restaurants, shopping.

There was an issue with double booking of our room and while the hotel staff brought this to our attention, probably more could have been done to rectify the situation while on property. having said that, it is a marvelous, comfortable resort with great ocean access and a cool place to relax while on holiday and be mindful of the environment,

Foi uma boa experiencia. fomos recebidos pela Cecilia com muita simpatia. As instalações são bem cuidadas, o quarto muito confortável e com uma vista fantástica. Pequeno almoço saboroso, um pouco diferente da maioria dos alojamentos, a sala tem uma vista linda. O spa é optimo e convida ao descanso. Excelente para descansar.
