Magnifique maison avec une belle piscine. Hôte disponible et sympathique. On n'est restés qu'une nuit mais il y a plein de choses à faire dans les environs

Unterkunft war super! Die Besitzerin war total freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie hat uns Tipps gegeben was wir unternehmen können - zB zu welchem Strand wir gut mit den Kindern gehen können, wo die babyschildschildkröten ins Wasser gelassen werden, zu welchem Friseur wir ma besten gehen können. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, der Pool war toll in einem super Ambiente - es war echt perfekt.

Great place to stay. Better than on photos. Very clean, well maintained, modern, spacious with AC and high ceilings. Good breakfast. Nice swimming pool. Lola is a great host. She helped us to organise few excursions in the area as well as dining option (Diana restaraunt is amazing!)

Nothing about the place - the accomodation is perfect, but I didn't like much the area, small beach where the water was very clean in the early morning where we could see turtles, but quite dirty in the afternoon.

Le séjour s'est très bien déroulé dans ce magnifique établissement géré de main de maître par Lolo et Su. Superbes chambres bien agencées et décorées avec goût. Piscine très agréable à tout heure de la journée. Excellent petit déjeuner. Bel accueil. Je recommande vivement.

La chambre est spacieuse et bien équipée, balcon donnant sur la piscine qui est très appréciable après les visites à faire dans le secteur. Petit déjeuner copieux et à volonté pour bien démarrer la journée. Une excellente adresse sur Polhena, proche de la mer mais en retrait de la route donc très calme.

Alles war perfekt! Die gesamte Unterkunft inkl. Zimmer und Pool ist super sauber und gepflegt. Lolo hat uns Empfehlungen und Tipps gegeben, was man in der Nähe machen kann (Massage, schnorcheln, Partys, Essen, etc.) und uns bspw. auch darüber informiert als an einem Abend eine Schildkröte am Strand ihre Eier gelegt hat, damit wir es selbst miterleben konnten. Ich kann die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen - war definitiv der schönste Aufenthalt unseres Urlaubs.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt! Besonders hervorheben möchten wir, wie unglaublich gut wir geschlafen haben – endlich mal mit einer richtigen Bettdecke, was wirklich für hohen Komfort gesorgt hat. Der Ausblick war wunderschön und die Umgebung angenehm ruhig. Die Lage ist einfach top – alles Wichtige war fußläufig erreichbar. Zusätzlich haben wir sogar ein Upgrade auf ein Familienzimmer bekommen, worüber wir uns sehr gefreut haben. Die Gastgeberin war außergewöhnlich freundlich und herzlich. Sie hat uns tolle Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben und sich wirklich dafür interessiert, dass wir das Beste aus unserem Urlaub herausholen. Diese persönliche Betreuung war etwas ganz Besonderes. Auch das Frühstück war super lecker und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, und das gesamte Team war durchweg freundlich. Preis Leistung stimmt absolut. Wir können diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Na 3 weken Sri Lanka eindelijk eens lekkere ligstoelen bij zwembad, een kast voor de kleding en een goede airco 😃 Het ligt in een zeer rustig zijstraatje van de kustweg. Je loopt overal zo naar toe. Echt een aanrader.

The shower was close to the toilet, so everything got wet while showering, and the bed creaked. A fridge would have been nice! But overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Our ground floor room was fantastic with patio doors opening out to the pool . Room was very quiet . Lolo was very attentive and couldn’t do enough to help us. The location was great . Walkable to restaurant & local beach and Lola told us that if you go to beach at 7am you are most likely to see Turtles , which we did . Fantastic !

Emplacement parfait à proximité de la plage de Polhena et de nombreux restaurants. La maison, les chambres et la piscine sont très bien entretenues. Le personnel est très serviable et Lolo à plein de très bonnes recommandations pour toutes les activités à faire autour.

Frukosten var utmärkt! Bordsserverad med frukt, bröd (typ franskt, resans godaste!), dagligen variation av riktigt god marmelad och val av äggrätt. Enastående service från ägarna med tips på leveranssäkrade aktiviteter och restauranger. Hotellet är riktigt fint och ger en känsla av Sir Lankesisk - västerlänsk blandning av bästa sort. Tillhandahåller mat och dryck samt tvättservice efter beställning. Familjerummet var perfekt för oss fyra (två vuxna och två barn) och hade klarat en person till utan bekymmer.

Eine tolle Zeit dort verbracht und direkt verlängert. Um die Ecke direkt Restaurant, Cafés und Beach Life. Lolu hatte immer gute Tipps und hat von der Massage bis zur River Safari alles organisiert.

The property is wonderful and Lolo has been a terrific host. Great recommendations for food, things to do, massage bookings and always extremely helpful. Polhena beach is great for snorkeling. Tuk tuks with Jagat to Weligama for surf lessons and swimming in the ocean. Felt like a loving home. If we come back we will definitely stay here again.

Losu was by far the best place we have stayed at, during our 1 month stay in Sri Lanka. The place is beautifully made, the room comfortable and overlooking a great pool, which the kids really enjoyed. Great breakfast with cocoa for the kids. The owner Lolo (originally from France) is very welcoming and helpful, giving advice on what to see and do in the area. Losu is just a 5 minute walk from the beach and many restaurants. The area is not overcrowded by tourists and we absolutely loved the 4 nights we stayed.

Everything was fantastic! We stayed at a beautiful LoSu in Sri Lanka that we can highly recommend. The staff were incredibly friendly, always available, and gave us lots of great local tips. Everything was very fresh, clean, modern, and felt brand new. The location is perfect—close to the beach for surfing, snorkeling, and lovely walks along the coast. Bonus: we were able to borrow fins, snorkel masks, and other equipment for free. It was also a real pleasure getting to know the French–Sri Lankan couple who run the place—warm, welcoming, and passionate hosts. We were super happy with our stay and would absolutely come back!

La maison est impeccable. L'eau de la piscine très très prope. La chambre est grande avec une salle d'eau. Tout était parfait. Notre seul regret était de quitter ce lieu et sa propriétaire. C'est une personne très gentille de plus elle parle français ce qui a rendu nos échanges encore plus intéressants. Lauriane répondra à toutes vos questions. Elle vous proposera des excursions, elle saura vous arran ger un taxi, vous donnera les adresses de restau ou de boutiques. Elle nous a même donné le nom de guesthouse dans le nord. ! C'est très agréable d'avoir quelqu'un de fiable et qui comprend vos attente!

Ubytování bylo krásné a čisté. Nachází se 2 minuty od pláže ve velmi klidné oblasti. Paní Lolo byla velice milá a ochotná. Každý den nám připravila bohatou servírovanou snídani, která byla vynikající. Po check-outu jsme si mohli až do večera nechat v ubytování zavazadla a využívat bazén, včetně venkovní sprchy.

Polhena ist ein toller Ort um den Süden von Sri Lanka zu genießen. In dem Hotel wurden wir herzlich empfangen und haben einige interessante Gespräche geführt. Der Pool ist gepflegt, bietet Schatten und Sonne und das Meer ist nur einen Spaziergang entfernt. Breite Sandstrände können per Tuktuk erreicht werden. Hervorheben möchten wir nochmal die viele Mühe, uns eine tolle Weihnachtszeit zu ermöglichen, indem sie uns einige Optionen zur Abendgestaltung in anderen Lokalitäten vorgeschlagen hat.

Frühstück könnte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein.

Lolo is een fantastische en heerlijk eerlijke gastvrouw die je helpt met alles. Samen met haar man runt ze LoSu in de perfectie. Elke ochtend start met een heerlijk ontbijt, met hemelse boter en telkens een andere confituur. Lolo geeft advies wat te doen en waar te eten, maar ook wat niet te doen:) wij zouden zo terugkomen! Merci!

Das Haus ist groß und modern. Wir hatten einen eigenen Balkon im Zimmer mit Blick auf den Pool, viel Platz und Ablagefläche, aber es gibt keinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Für den Pool haben wir Badehandtücher bekommen. Zu Fuß ist man innerhalb von ein paar Minuten am Strand, wo wir in der Früh Schildkröten gesehen haben und ein paar Fische. Die Gastgeberin ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereiter, und hatte immer Tipps für uns, wenn wir ihr von unseren Tagesplänen erzählt haben. Sie hat uns auch eine River Safari und Massage vermittelt. Auch waren wir in der Nähe der Unterkunft beim Yoga. Polhena ist ein kleiner ruhigerer Urlaubsort und wir haben uns in der Villa wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt.

¡Qué gran cierre para nuestras vacaciones en Sri lanka! Simplemente maravilloso. El hospedaje está en una zona hermosa, muy cerca de la playa para nadar con tortugas. El edificio, la piscina y las habitaciones son muy lindas y cómodas. El desayuno excelente y variado. Disfrutamos tantísimo nuestros días allí. Lolo, la anfitriona no podía ser más amable. Siempre atenta para que tu estadía sea lo mejor posible. Muy recomendable. Ojalá tengamos la posibilidad de volver.

Persönlicher Kontakt und Betreuung, gesamte Anlage über Haus und Pool, fussläufig alles am Strand erreichbar. Man hat sich wirklich für die Gäste interessiert und es wurden individuelle Empfehlungen abgegeben.

Reinigung war nur alle paar Tage, was ab sich überhaupt kein Problem ist. Wenn von den Kindern allerdings Krümel herumlagen waren schnell die Ameisen da.

Alles! Wir waren für drei Nächte dort, haben uns super wohl gefühlt und wären am liebsten länger geblieben! Eine Unterkunft zum Seele baumeln lassen:) Lolo unsere Gastgeberin hat uns immer gute Tipps gegeben und wir hatten tolle Unterhaltungen mit ihr, was den Aufenthalt umso mehr heimelig gestaltet hat.

LoSu Polhena war mit Abstand die schönste und sauberste Unterkunft die wir während unserer Reise hatten. Das Frühstück war perfekt, die Kinder liebten die warme Schokolade zum Frühstück. Die Lage ist super ruhig, man ist in 5 min am Strand und genauso schnell kann man viele leckere Restaurants erreichen. Wer nicht laufen möchte kann unkompliziert über die pickme-App ein TukTuk ordern. Absolute Weiterempfehlung.

It is an amazing property managed by a French-Sri Lankan couple, they are very accommodating and friendly. Property is clean and well maintained. The bonus is the swimming pool, with a beautiful green backdrop.

LoSu Polhena ist traumhaft! Sowohl die Herberge mit ihrem gemütlichen Charme, aber auch die Betreuung von Lolo und Supun mit ihren wertvollen Tipps, aufmerksamen Snackangeboten oder der Organisation von Ausflügen haben unseren Aufenthalt absolut bereichert. Das Haus hält alles zum Wohlfühlen bereit - die Zimmer sind gemütlich, im Haus gibt es viele gemütliche Sitzecken, einschließlich Dachterasse und einem herrlichen Pool, schon am Morgen wird man mit leckerem Frühstück verwöhnt! Top Unterkunft!

Très bel endroit, dessiné et meublé avec goût. La piscine est superbe et très agréable (avec un petit bain pour les tout petits). Très bons petit-déjeuner. La plage de Polhena est à 400m et on a pu nager avec des tortues. Lauriane, qui est française, est de bon conseil pour les activités à faire dans la région. Elle prête également du matériel de snorkelling et met à disposition des jeux de société. Possibilité de profiter d'une douche et de toilettes après le check out.

Nous avons commencé notre roadtrip par cette merveilleuse guesthouse. L'accueil de Lolo, la propriétaire française, était juste incroyable. Elle a organisé pour nous les déplacements en tuk tuk, puis en Van, nous a recommandé des restaurants, des sorties, des plages. Nous a donné pleins de conseil sur le pays. Les chambres sont grandes et plus que confortables. La piscine au top et le petit déjeuner excellent.

Très belle chambre d'hôte confortable avec une belle piscine. Accueil chaleureux avec de nombreux échanges et conseils donnés par la gentille propriétaire qui parle Français, elle peut organiser des transferts ou excursions de toutes sortes. Fontaine à eau disponible. Une très belle adresse.

L'accueil, les grandes chambres, la qualité des équipements, la piscine, la clim, les renseignements, l'emplacement. C'était un séjour très agréable où 'l'hôte a été très disponible, avec de bons conseils et très serviable. On a été ravi !

We had a wonderful time at LoSu Polhena. The room was spacious, clean and had a nice view on the pool, so a perfect place to come back to after a day out. The pool is large and well maintained, ideal for a refreshing dip or just to relax. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious, freshly prepared and generous breakfast, which was the perfect start to the day. The location is great: just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. What truly made our stay special was the warm hospitality of Lolo, the host. She is incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Thanks to her, our stay was an unforgettable experience. In short: a fantastic place to stay in Polhena. We would come back in a heartbeat!

It was very near everything our tour to swim with the turtles was cancelled the host said to go to the beach anyway we rented gear and swam. With the turtles breakfast was great host excellent definitely would recommend she is very knowledgeable in the area

A beautiful hotel, near Polhena beach. Polhena beach is very suitable for swimming with childern. The pool of the hotel is a big plus and the owner is very helpfull.

Lolo was a great host and tried to help us in every possible way. The location, room and pool were great as well. You can tell it’s their home because they put so much love into it.

Wonderful newly built house , very comfortable, great large swimming pool to relax in , roof terrace to watch sunset . Great communication with owner/manager who can give you excellent tips on things to do /see/restaurants etc . All in all , we all loved it and will recommend the place to friends/family .

A very lovely villa just a short walk from the beach. It also has a nice small pool. What's especially great is that the pool has a separate shallow area for children, making it very safe. The hotel owner, a French lady, is very helpful and kind. She assisted us in arranging an airport taxi.

We loved everything!

Brand new building, very well maintained and everything spotless. The very hospitable French landlord Lolo made great efforts to help out with excursions, transports and so on. We didn’t meet her Sri Lankan husband, but the couple have been offering homestay for 8 years and they recently upgraded to a new house.

We loved the stay at LoSu Polhena! Lolo was such a cute and friendly host, giving recommendations for the area, inspiration for activities, dinner and drinks and helping organize a scooter and ayurvedic massage for us. The pool was nice and clean and the hotel is cozy and located perfectly for day trips to Mirissa, Hiriketiya etc. Breakfast is lovely and sri lankan dinner cooked by the neighbor she organized for us was delicious! We will definitely come back next time, felt like home in the welcoming atmosphere!

The hosts were very welcoming. We arrived earlier than the usual check-in time and not only did they let us into the room, they also prepared breakfast for us on our arrival since were coming from an early train from Colombo. My kids couldn't get enough of the pool!

Attentitaive staff , good location , large rooms , lush pool . Shower has hot water which is a pro for polhena area. Secure parking and relaxing atmosphere.

Everything was perfect! Spotless rooms, super nice owners and helpful on everything, huge pool, really nice rooftop with sunset view every evening and common areas are super nice and comfy. A big thank you to lolo and supun for making my experience unforgettable. I will come back soon for sure.

Everything was perfect! Lolo and Supun are amazing hosts who help with everything. Breakfast was tasty and the kitchen was fully equipped to cook meals by ourselves as well. The location was ideal and close to both Madiha and Polhena beaches. The environment was really quiet at night. And on top of all were the pool with really warm water and long enough for proper swimming, and the rooftop which had amazing view to all directions and was great to share some beers at night

I made a last-minute booking to stay at loSu Polhena. They were extremely accommodating and responsive, which made my arrival very easy and pleasant. The hotel was spacious, quiet, new and very comfortable and I immediately felt at home. Lolo and Su are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They have amazing local knowledge and gave great tips and advice on where to eat and sights to see. And the hotel itself is in an excellent location as it’s just a couple of minutes walk to the beach and to local restaurants. Breakfast was included and it was huge and and really tasty. I absolutely loved the big pool, perfect for both swimming or just chilling out after a long day. I like the way they had designed around the pool with lots of greenery so I felt like I was in nature. They also have a rooftop you can sit on and watch the sunset. Overall I would definitely recommend!
