Het zijn mooie kamers en een fijn zwembad

Onze eerste dag bij aankomst was er geen stroom. Het was daardoor niet te doen om op de kamer te verblijven want daar was het ontzettend heet. Verder wordt er nergens vermeld dat ze in het laagseizoen geen lunch serveren. Eerst werd er gezegd ‘geen lunch door de stroomuitval’ en de volgende dag werd er opeens gezegd nee geen lunch door laagseizoen. Het is ook gek dat de wc in je slaapkamer is zonder deur, alleen om het hoekje. Verder ook veel mieren in de kamer.

Insgesamt schöne Location und freundliches Personal. Frühstück ist lecker und vielseitig.

Passt auf euer Geld auf! Beim Check-out wurden uns Leistungen verrechnet, die nie bezogen wurden. Besonders fragwürdig: meiner Partnerin wurden glutenhaltige Lebensmittel belastet, obwohl sie an Zöliakie leidet – faktisch ausgeschlossen. Reklamationen wurden zunächst vertröstet und erhielt keine Rückmeldung mehr auf meine Anfrage. Nach erneuter Nachfrage wurde mir später zwar eine Rückerstattung zugesichert, diese ist bis heute nicht erfolgt. Für mich ein klarer Fall von mangelnder Professionalität und fehlender Transparenz. Angesichts des ohnehin eher hohen Preises sehr enttäuschend.

Die Unterkunft war super schön und sehr ruhig. Ein richtig toller Ort zum abschalten, mit leckerem Essen, sehr zuvorkommendem Personal und Yoga.

Im Zimmer wären mehr Ablagemöglichkeiten für Kleidung geschickt.

Das generelle Design war sehr ansprechend, alles war extrem sauber, sowohl die Zimmer als auch die tolle Außendusche und der Pool. Das Bett war außerdem super bequem. Die Lage war schön, in einer Wohnsiedlung, weswegen es extrem ruhig war, man war aber trotzdem in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand und zu Restaurants. Das Frühstück war super lecker mit frischen Zutaten, vorallem das Obst war toll. Das Staff war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt wäre, dass ein großer Spiegel gefehlt hat wobei es im Zimmer einige freie Wände dafür geben würde. Der Schrank hatte oben zwar eine Ablagemöglichkeit (Neben Hängemöglichkeiten) aber diese war so hoch dass man sie nicht nutzen konnte. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein aber die Sauberkeit und das gemütliche Bett haben das ausgeglichen.

Wonderful tranquil setting 10-15 minute walk to the beaches and plenty of restaurants / bars. Chilled out vibe. Beautifully designed and decorated. Great food. Really friendly hosts and staff.

A tranquilidade, a arquitetura e bom gosto com que está decorado, piscina muito boa, pequeno almoço excepcional e simpatia de todo o staff.

O bar fecha cedo (4.30PM), não tendo acesso a qualquer bebida ou comida e também não tem mini bar no quarto. Também achámos um pouco desagradável cobrarem a substituição por leite vegetal do pequeno almoço, estando este incluido na estadia.

ABSOLUMENT TOUT ! Cet hôtel est une petite merveille. Il est idéalement situé au calme. Les chambres sont très bien isolées, décorées avec goût et très pratique! La douche et baignoire sont à l'extérieur mais la double vasque et les toilettes en intérieur, ce qui est fort appréciable avec les grosses chaleurs et pour éviter au maximum les moustiques. Tout était parfait, la nourriture et les boissons du café de l'hôtel sont très bons (je vous conseille leur Cinnamon Roll et leur chaï latte), le personnel était sympa, la piscine est super propre et les sacs de sable pour se prélasser super confortables. Les chambres sont faites par le personnel tous les jours, les serviettes (bain et piscine) changées si besoin Le petit déjeuner est super bon et la carte top.

Rien du tout, tout était parfait. A la fin du séjour, je ne voulais plus partir !!

Ein wunderschönes kleines Hotel mit unglaublich viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Zimmer sind extrem sauber, sehr gepflegt und duften angenehm. Durch die nur acht Wohneinheiten ist es herrlich ruhig und fast schon exklusiv. Das Frühstück und die Snacks im hauseigenen Café waren ein absolutes Highlight – der Kaffee ist ehrlich eine 12/10. Der Strand ist nur einen Katzensprung entfernt und perfekt zum Schnorcheln, inklusive Schildkröten. Abgerundet wird alles durch die super lieben Besitzer und ihre tolle Familie – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen.

Sehr stilvoll eingerichtete Unterkunft. Gemütliche Betten und Außendusche am Zimmer. Total sauber und ruhig gelegen, mit tollem Blick von der Yoga-Dachterrasse. Wunderschöner Pool mit gemütlichen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Sehr nette Gastgeber und Staff. Leckeres Frühstück. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen! 😊

The gym classes are not included in the stay which was surprising. Did a stretch class - not cheap and it was not worth it.

We spent four wonderful nights at Meraki, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Iona and Kavishka have created a beautiful oasis of calm and relaxation. The design is stunning — visually refined, authentic, and thoughtfully integrated into the surroundings. We stayed in a deluxe room, which featured a gorgeous outdoor shower and bathtub and felt incredibly private and serene. The staff were exceptional: genuinely warm, attentive, and always happy to help. The food was outstanding throughout our stay, and without exaggeration, it was the best coffee we had anywhere in Sri Lanka. Two yoga sessions are offered daily with changing programs, which added a wonderful rhythm to our days and made it easy to fully unwind. Overall, Meraki offers an unparalleled value for money — a place where every detail feels intentional and made with care. We would return without hesitation.

Przede wszystkim czystość, jedzenie. Hotel jest na prawdę na najwyższym standardzie, jest skromny tzn nie będzie tam wielu turystów jest umiejscowiony w dobrej lokalizacji, blisko przystanków autobusowych oraz wody. Okolica spokojna bo zmroku trochę strach chodzić ponieważ nie ma tam latarni. Jedzenie przepyszne śniadania na prawdę jedne z lepszych jakie jedliśmy dodatkowo obiady które są dodatków płatne również zdecydowanie spełniają oczekiwania

Hôtel juste incroyable. Le staff est super gentil, les chambres sont ouf, la piscine excellente. Pour le petit dej vous avez une carte avec le choix entre plusieurs options sucrées/salées. Session de yoga optionnelle le matin, très relaxante. On devait être à l’aéroport vers minuit le jour de notre checkout et ils nous ont laissés la chambre jusqu’à ce qu’on parte alors que c’était normalement 11h !

THE best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka. Everything was perfect: the hotel is super well maintained, nicely decorated with taste, staff is adorable and breakfast is phenomenal! There is also a nice pool, a small shop and voilà! It is truly a gem!

Wunderschönes Hotel mit dem besten Frühstück was wir in Sri Lanka hatten! Super schöner Pool zum Entspannen und abkühlen. Das gesamte Hotel ist sehr esthetisch eingerichtet, alles sehr schön anzusehen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Bett und die Bettwäsche war die gemütlichste, die wir bisher hatten. Fußläufig sind Strände und Restaurants zu erreichen.

Das Personal ist extrem zuvorkommend und versucht mit allen Mitteln ein unvergesslichen Aufenthalt zu gestalten. Die Zimmer werden mit einem Auge fürs Detail gereinigt wie ich es sonst nicht kenne. Es ist extrem sauber und sowohl die Seifen, Schampo und Badetücher riechen sehr gut. Besonders das Frühstück ist aussergewöhnlich. Es gibt leckeren Kaffee und vielr Optionen zum essen. Von Avo Toast, Eiern, Frühstücksbowl usw. Wir konnten ohne Problem 11:00 mit dem Frühstück anfangen (als Langschläfer immer willkommen 😀) Für jeden Extrawunsch den wir hatten wurde eine Lösung gefunden.

Le camere erano piccole ma super carine e arredate con gusto. Il bagno bellissimo e la doccia anche. Ci siamo proprio rilassati. Camere pulite e ti rifacevano la stanza (cosa non scontata in sri lanka). il doppio cuscino è stata la volta. Il personale molto gentile.

Poca scelta sulla colazione a mio parere (soprattutto quella dolce), non avevano nemmeno un pò di marmellata per esempio. Per carità era stagione bassa ma sarebbe giusto garantire gli stessi servizi visto il prezzo più alto che comunque si paga. La piscina non era molto pulita. Quindi servizi un pò cosi, ma per il resto tutto benissimo.

I wish the caffe would have been open for diner as the food was so delicious but that might have been because we were there in off season

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The whole hotel was divine! The breakfast and coffee was great. The rooms were beautiful and were kept so clean. Couldn’t rate it highly enough. Favourite place that I stayed during our trip.

It was a little tricky getting around, but this may have been due to the national holiday. The staff were helpful at organising us a Tuk Tuk to get around, which was useful but a little more expensive than ones you might find on Uber or in Marissa.

Wow – what an incredible place! Everything about this accommodation was perfect. The service was exceptional, and everything was spotless. We originally booked for just four days but ended up coming back on our return trip because we enjoyed it so much. A big thank you to the entire Meraki team for such a wonderful stay. Keep up the amazing work!

The property is absolutely gorgeous. Owned and run by a lovely family, the hotel has everything one needs for a great holiday. The rooms are perfectly designed, beds and linen are very comfortable and great quality. Staff are so genuine and do everything to make your stay memorable.

We loved everything about the property. The owners and staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The facilities all immaculate with impeccable attention to detail. We loved the breakfast, that goes without saying and extras of the shop in the reception area, yoga, massages. It has it all!

There’s nothing not to like!

Amazing! We loved our stay, even came back for a few nights more.. Breakfast was really tasty, I would say it was the best breakfast trough out all of our trip. We felt really chilled staying here and had a really good rest, staff were so friendly, they made us feel really welcome. The location is great - there are beautiful beaches around, but they are not overcrowded with people. Also cafes, restaurants and small boutique shops within the walking distance or a quick tuk-tuk ride. Thank you and hope to see you again 🤍

We felt so welcome at Meraki, the hospitality was outstanding, the food was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka, and we loved the aesthetic.

We loved our stay, Meraki has a warm welcoming energy. It’s a family owned business and they look after their guests with a lot of attention and care. The yoga and Pilates sessions were amazing and the food was fantastic as well. We also booked the massage and it was truly one of best massages I’ve ever had. 10/10 stay, highly recommend and wishing Meraki the best in 2025 and the years to come (as they have only just opened).

The only piece of feedback would be to make filtered water available to guests 24/7 maybe through a filter water fountain in a common area.
