Slightly over priced considering the location. The hotel is attached to a marriage hall and is not a fully functional hotel. Felt a little deserted (could be unsafe for ladies only stay) as we were the only guests staying that night.

Sink not working properly. Breakfast was a disaster. On the first day of our stay we were the only guests in the hotel and they served very little. On the second day they provided buffet service. No welcome or smiles from the staff who were oblivious to the fact that I was left standing in the middle of a small packed room while waiting for the tables to be cleared. Poor food, empty buffet containers. I had to ask them repeteadly to refill the containers as they said they would but did not. In the end I had to be very insistent, which was unpleasant. All in all I was kept waiting 45 minutes before I could eat anything. Simply bad service.

Reviewed Jun 7, 2026Almost everything! Especially the boy who was serving us breakfast was impressive. At first I was bit angry on the late service for refilling food but later I came to know that this single guy was managing the entire show including the kitchen after 10AM. He deserves a raise!
Bathroom sliding door were something i didn't like and a partition between shower and toilet could improve the experience.

During our stay breakfast menu was very limited probably due to low occupancy. Location of the hotel is good. 15-20 min to reach in all key places. Overall an excellent experience @ sundex.

The morning breakfast was very disappointing. To begin with breakfast time was from 8am but hardly anything was ready . Gradually items were placed but very limited. Just idli sambar chutney. After some time a very few vadas were brought in. Bhaji was placed but no poori. Even basic tea coffee was not served. I had requested twice for the coffee which never turned up. The staff was also behaving very inexperienced.. Overall be it breakfast lunch or dinner they didn't have much choice.

When the shower wasnt working well, assistant Mnanger, Mr. Bala kumaran himself got involved to ensure that it was resolved asap. His professionallism and calm demeanour is commandable. also, it is to be noticed and appreciated that there are lot of lady staff on duty in this hotel. well done
Breakfast spread could have been fresh and better. also would appreciate filter coffee in Thanjavur isntead of instant coffee.

Reviewed Mar 29, 2026Een hele schone ruime moderne plek. Echt een fijne kamer schone. Het eten was goed. De chef maakte goede gerechten. Vlakbij de bezienswaardigheden, en vlakbij station. Goede rustige locatie.
Het restaurant waar je ontbijt was wat ongezellig, dat kwam voornamelijk door het personeel de bediening. Er zat geen lach in en geen warme service wat een piek ook echt kan maken of breken. Echt heel belangrijk om daar naar te kijken. Het is niet uitnodigend. We hebben er gegeten omdat er weinig qua eten in de buurt was. Als dit zou verbeteren, wat warmer qua service en atmosfeer dan is het een top hotel.

The room was ok but very bad smell in the bathroom , no hot water after 9:30pm: sink clogged was repaired leaving soaking wet bathroom floor. Breakfast from 8-10, but at half past 8 they call: we should come. On arrival before 9: breakfast is all but finished. Ofcourse: staff is friendly, but still the inconvenience remains.

1. Terrible foul smell in toilet 2. Restaurant is having horrible attitude of the staff. Even if you request them a thousand times they will serve the localites first. We are from West India and also the foreigners were completely ignored. Their behaviour towards us was like second class citizens. We DO NOT recommend anyone to stay here and face the similar humiliation. It's really pathetic.

Окно большое, но не открывается, то есть воздух вообще в комнату не заходит ., вода горячая кончилась. были перерывы в электричестве завтрак. Не очень разнообразный.
