Main reason for booking this was the location in relation to town centre. Rooms were clean and tidy and breakfast was excellent. Nearby was the friary and the rope bridge.

Glass Island is a fantastic BnB in the centre of Ballycastle.Sharon, the host is very welcoming.Our bedroom was huge,as was the bathroom.Everything was spotlessly clean.A fan is provided which is great during these very warm nights.The breakfast was delicious and all freshly cooked to order.One of the best! Would highly recommend Glass Island if visiting the NE in N.Ireland.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable. The pillows very uncomfortable.

The hosts were wonderful, helpful with tips and very accommodating as to the time we arrived; breakfast was delicious with options for my son, who is infamously a picky eater; our room and en-suite bathroom were clean and very well maintained. All in all we will be staying again - in addition to recommending to any friends who will be traveling to the area.

I think the only downside was our length of stay - we wish we could have stayed a few more nights.

The property was very well presented. The room was spotlessly clean. The lounge and dining area was set up nicely and the style was consistent throughout.

If I was SUPER picky I would say the few scuff marks on stairway wall could do with a touch up with paint just to match the standard through the rest of the property. Breakfast was top quality!

There is no TV in the shared lounge and we only had one chair in our bedroom so not ideal to watch the World Cup.

The breakfast was excellent and the hosts were extremely welcoming and super friendly. The bedroom decor was extremely nice and a decent size. They were happy to offer suggestions as to where to go for dinner and what to explore in the surrounding areas.

Beautifully clean house which has been stunningly redesigned into 6 guest bedrooms with the extremely friendly owners living on site. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Parking on site. Short walk into Ballycastle (with good choice of shops and restaurants) and to the beach.

Slightly unusual room design very long and thin and was very light - 2 sky lights one with electric shutter and window right next to the bed! Eye masks provided! Does really need blackout curtains. Otherwise all lovely.

Very close to both the sea front and the Main Street but still a quiet side road. Clean, comfortable, friendly and a good breakfast. Looked after my bike well too.

It wasn't to bad but had to get a taxi back from the town,but it was cheap. When we tryed our front door key it wouldn't open the door, so the owner let us in.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable beds. The freshly made breakfast from our host was delicious. Walking distance to local shops and pubs and down to the marina.

Stay was excellent the host(s) were super kind and it felt like a really personal hotel experience. The rooms were super clean with a nice big shower and comfortable bedding. The breakfast was also top class, definitely recommended.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem ruhigen Wohnquartier, trotzdem sind es nur 5-10 Minuten ins Städtchen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und man hatte alles was man braucht. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Meine Vegi-Wünsche wurden ohne Probleme erfüllt.

Without a doubt, it was one of our best experiences in a B&B. The hosts were outstanding, the accommodations superb, and the property gorgeous. Our stay was a highlight of our trip!

Superbe endroit, très spacieux, très propre, très moderne. Notre hôte Sharon est au petits soins et son époux nous a très gentiment porté nos bagages jusqu'à notre chambre.

15mn de marche jusqu'au centre-ville, mais en rien un problème si vous êtes en bonne forme physique.

The hostess was very accommodating and helpful in local suggestions. Check-in was simple and quick, as was check-out. This stay is within walking distance to lovely little pubs, restaurants, and shopping. The room was incredibly clean and tidy. Breakfast was delicious and filling! What a great stay we found. Thank you!

We loved everything about this place! The location to town and the beach was perfect. The room was clean and luxurious. Most of all, the host, Sharon, is a real gem and cooks the best breakfast we ate in Ireland. Would gladly stay here again and again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Glass Island in Ballycastle and can highly recommend it without hesitation. The beds were exceptionally comfortable – among the best we’ve experienced while traveling. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast. It was truly fantastic – freshly prepared, high-quality ingredients, and a great variety to choose from. It was the perfect way to start the day! The hosts were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive. They clearly care about their guests and go the extra mile to ensure a great experience. We especially appreciated the helpful tips and recommendations they provided for local attractions, restaurants, and things to do in the area – these suggestions made exploring Ballycastle and the surroundings even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Glass Island over the first Anniversary of losing our Father. (Ballycastle holds special memories.) The room was beautifully decorated, spotless and very comfortable. The use of the lounge area in the evening was an added bonus with the use of chilled water in the fridge. The hosts were extremely welcoming, friendly and very attentive to making sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Breakfast the next morning was exceptional and beautifully presented. Access to free parking on site, WiFi, TV(netflix) and coffee/tea facilities in the room were a great touch. Thank you so much for making our stay as comfortable and special as possible. We can't wait to come back.
