We were told the kitchen was not to be used except to get milk from fridge for a hot drink and to only use the guest bedroom. Hosts went away & left house very untidy which was noticed as we had to go downstairs to kitchen fridge.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2025It is literally a room in someone’s house where there are a family with children living. Felt incredibly awkward and strange with the kids in the room next door and coming in late knowing they were sleeping. The facilities were old and not much provided eg no toiletries. The price was extortionate and we felt too uncomfortable to stay the second night. It was functional but not recommended.

The house itself was messy, untidy and had not been cleaned. There was gone off milk in the fridge.

Reviewed Apr 19, 2025in addition to the kettle, coffee and tea in the room, the owner also took care of dry biscuits, or something for the tea. it's very nice especially if you are tired from the road and don't want to go anywhere anymore. Overall, the atmosphere is very homely and pleasant.
