Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Todella hieno yöpymispaikka! Huone oli suuri, tahrattoman siisti ja sänky erittäin mukava. Mili oli todella ystävällinen ja sai meidät tuntemaan olomme heti tervetulleiksi. Aamiainen oli herkullinen, ja saimme myös paljon hyviä vinkkejä alueeseen tutustumiseen. Kaikin puolin lämminhenkinen ja onnistunut kokemus – voin ehdottomasti suositella!

Very good breakfast, juice, muesli, natural yoghurt, quality brown bread, together with a full Irish breakfast, with delicious coffee and tea. Spotlessly clean throughout. Location is good, a short drive to Ladysbridge, Shanagarry and Garryvoe, with Ballycotton about 15 minutes drive away. Millie is a great host. I am happy to recommend Canaima House

We wanted to book 3 nights but the description of the ‘external’ bathroom meant we only booked one night. Yet when we arrived the ‘external room’ was beside the bedroom and sss very private. If we had known this beforehand we we have booked three nights. No tea/coffee facilities in room which we prefer and use quite a bit Room a little bit on the small side but very comfortable

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Wir hatten hier das beste Essen in ganz Irland. Milli hat für uns ein indivduelles vegetarisches Frühstück gekocht. Frisches knackiges Gemüse und ALLES was wir hier gegessen haben war außergewöhnlich lecker. Wir werden das nie vergessen. Milli war sehr herzlich und hat alles gegeben, um uns zu verwöhnen. Die Lage ist entlang einer Straße - außerhalb - und nachts sehr ruhig. Ein Auto sollte man haben. Das Zimmer war sauber und es war alles perfekt für Gäste ausgestattet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Herzlichen DANK!

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Il sorriso, la disponibilità e l’attenzione della padrona di casa nel rendere il tuo soggiorno confortevole sono impareggiabili. Ci ha viziato concedendoci una camera più grande e portandoci per colazione un cornetto con la nutella ( oltre al resto). È stato piacevole avere la sala da pranzo a disposizione per cenare e il frigo per rinfrescare le bibite. Vi consigliamo di fermarvi qui, Canaima house e la sua propetaria sono speciali!

So generous and kind. Cooked me tortilla for breakfast as a special request from me. Fridge in breakfast room that could be used by guests which was great.

It was 30 degrees when we stayed and there was a fan provided for us which was extremely appreciated. Milisen is an amazing cook and the breakfast was exceptional. The rooms are so clean and we had loads of space to store clothes. The accommodation location is also exceptional. We can not wait to visit again. Thank you so much Milisen ❤️

Host opened door looking at phone and continued to do so while robotically pointing to amenities which i personally found rude. House is in middle of nowhere and nowhere to eat or go for drink locally 15min drive, and no advice or guidance offered on local options, which would have bn nice.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026Exceptional stay! 10/10 I had an amazing experience staying here. The place itself is absolutely beautiful, incredibly clean, and everything is perfectly organized. A huge shoutout to Mily, who looks after the guests—she is super kind, incredibly attentive, and truly welcoming. The service here is a definitive 10/10! On top of that, the atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect spot to relax. The room was flawless. It was spotlessly clean, tidy, and came with freshly washed bedsheets. The bathroom was also sparkling clean, the towels were fresh and soft, and absolutely everything was spectacular. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Die Zimmer sind sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Die Gastgeberin freut sich über ihre Besucher und bietet ihnen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück wird individuell vorbereitet und serviert.

Reviewed May 30, 2026Very warm welcome from Milli and Tom, they were excellant hosts, we were looked after very well, Milli's breakfast was great and my wife Mary was very happy with the beautiful fresh fruits each morning, while I tested Milli's cooking skills with a different choice each morning 😉 she was great. Tom keeps the grounds ship shape and beautiful, this bnb is a credit to them both, we will be back for sure, thank you Millí and Tom.

Reviewed May 11, 2026To start off, the owner was very welcoming, we were greeted to a very pristine home but also very cozy. Great amenities in the room and also in the dinning room. Both rooms are fully equipped with Netflix, the rooms were very spacious, lots of toiletries in the bathroom. We were very tired from exploring Cork so we spent the late evening playing scrabble in the dinning room. Complementary tea and coffee at your convenience. To top it all off, the breakfast was amazing! My daughter had the Irish breakfast and I asked for an authentic Venezuelan surprise seeing as the owner was from there, and she made me the most yummy breakfast arepa! I would definitely return here next time I come back to Cork!
