The beds were absolutely 100% horrible. There was mold in the bathroom and the door was hard to open. This hotel needs to spend some money and fix the place up. Scrap the old paint and put bew anti mold paint in the rooms and upgrade your beds. Please.

Time has taken its toll - the back lawn could use some care. Really pokie things that love the coastal weather.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Extremely reasonable price so couldn't expect the Ritz. It's in need of updating and the shower drips all the time, but it worked well. Right on the beach. Staff was friendly and glad to get you whatever you'd run out of. Good value for the price and would consider staying here again.
Needs updating. Torn carpet outside on the hallway landing. Refrigerator naturally kept things could enough and it's a very small mini fridge.

My special request for a full size fridge was confirmed that they could give me that, then when we arrived was told that those rooms were already rented, even though i had booked it a month in advance. The toaster didnt work, and there were ants in the room, we had to go buy ant bait/killer to take care of it.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026The view of the beach and the dining table by the window were wonderful. There was a nice large space so it didn't feel crowded at all. Bed was comfortable. The facilities had everything we needed. Kitchen was great.
The sponge was old of the kind that it leaves the smell on your hands. A new sponge would go a long way. And the bed cover was very old and discolored. The shelf in the entryway was dirty on top probably because the way it was built it is hard to get at. A flat surface would be good rather than trying to put stuff over molding. The water in the bathroom sink didn't drain fast. These are just little things that with a little adjustment can make this place even better than it was.

I didn't like that the grass leading to the path to the beach was covered in these stickers that would hurt your feet really bad if walking bear foot.

No smoke detector, note clean around baseboard and under bed, mis- colored lights in bath, plugins didn’t work, lamp shade was broken (but turned out of sight), window didn’t lock, peep hole in door was painted over, carpet up the stairs was worn out and torn, the building needed painting, the door handle was extremely rusty (but worked well).

There was some garbage left in our room when we checked in, just some food and an empty soda bottle but it made me feel like maybe they weren’t done cleaning it. There were a lot of dirty corners and the bathroom wasn’t super clean. They gave me and my two kids less than a half of a roll of toilet paper (total) for the 2 nights we were there. I had to get up at 6am (the office was closed) and drive to Tillamook and buy some TP. Not ideal.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026Location is great… And it was actually quieter than I expected. The larger size mini fridge with freezer compartment was also helpful. Bathroom was clean and shower was nice.
There is no AC or even a fan - we figured we’re on the beach so we’ll just open the window and get a nice Sea breeze and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. However, in the summer, everybody lights fires on the beach so all we got was campfire smoke. We left the windows open long enough to cool off the room somewhat and then closed everything up. Also, there’s plenty of room for a king bed, but it’s a queen that feels more like a double and the mattress is relatively soft so didn’t get a good nights sleep.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. When we got up the next day it was a relief that the night was finally over. There were some electrical issues as well, which became more concerning on the second night. I've never stayed anywhere on the beach that didn't have an outdoor washing station!

The two beds were in separate rooms with a door between them, which was nice for privacy. Coffee maker in the room. Perfect location right on the beach and walking distance to the train and restaurants.
The curtains were so old and in very poor condition, with holes in the blackout liner allowing sunlight to wake us up earlier than desired. The door between the rooms was damaged, with what looked like a hole punched into it.

We didn’t like how there wasn’t a phone in the room to call down to the front desk if we needed something. The top of the bedding was dirty with stains, which was gross. And the room hadn’t been dusted. We were disappointed knowing there wasn’t a pool or sauna. On Google it said it did so my kids were disappointed.

There is no security latch on the door. The water from the coffee machine tasted like melted plastic. The only fan was in the bathroom. There is no curtain in the bathroom, so if you have the window open, anyone standing outside the front door can look at you sitting on the toilet. Perhaps a curtain would help.

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026I love the location of this facility because it is right on the beach. It is wonderful to sleep with the windows open and awaken to the sound of the waves breaking on the beach. I also love the mini kitchen that allows for the preparation of our own meals.
The facility is quite aged and the upkeep is lacking. But, it is clean enough that it is comfortable for a stay.

Excellent use of space, the unit was very roomy, right on the beachfront but still close to the amenities of town. Beautiful location! Sun shinning on the water and sand so brilliantly you can hardly look at it. Wonderfully comfortable bed with the sound of the waves as an accompaniment. My party of 3 was there only for a night, but we would have been delighted to stay longer.
A few more water spigots in the back would've made cleaning sand off our feet easier, but there were sufficient ones, so not a huge deal.

Basically it was cleaned but it cries for a deep cleaning. Shampoo the carpet, clean the windows and get rid of the rusty spots on radiator and stove hood. Smelled really musty when we walked in.
