Really pretty hotel. Nice pool ! Breakfast was really good. But it’s unfortunate that we have to choose between juice and coffee.

The noise is awful. The rooms are not soundproof at all, so you can hear everything from outside. Music from 7am. People laughing outside at 11pm. And animals, starting at 5am, wake you up.

Clean concise rooms and comfortable beds.

Tea / Coffee facilities in the room wouls have been ideal. No privacy unless blinds are closed as glass facade open up to garden/pool.

El personal fue absolutamente cortés permitiéndonos hacer el check in a las 11 en lugar de a la 14, adelantado la limpieza de la habitación y permitiéndonos permanecer allí desde primera hora de la mañana. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, limpias, las camas son cómodas y como digo el personal es completamente agradable.

La primera noche hubo un grupo de chicas que estuvieron gritando y de fiesta hasta más allá de las 23:00h y molestaron nuestro descanso. Aparte, al día siguiente tampoco respetaron el horario de la piscina y de nuevo se extendieron más allá de un horario razonable.

We had the most wonderful stay here! From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely 10/10 — every staff member was so warm, welcoming and attentive. The hotel itself is tucked away and very clean & modern. Excellent pool area and food. The hospitality truly made our stay so special. We couldn’t recommend this hotel enough and would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for having us 😊

Wij boekten Terra Resort voor twee nachten wegens de ontzettend goeie reviews. Er was een goeie communicatie, zelfs al voor ons vertrek, taxi werd geregeld,… we kwamen s’vonds om 21h aan en waren onder de indruk van dit kleinschalige mooie hotel. Mooie kamer, al had ik van de badkamer met heel veel plekken op muren meer verwacht. We vloer was ook zeer hard (met textuur) om op te wandelen. Pantoffels gingen wel een meerwaarde zijn. We gingen meteen naar de bar om iets te drinken en eten. Er was heel veel werkvolk maar geen volk om te eten. We vroegen enkele zaken maar er was geen vis, waardoor we met drie een bord schnitzel met pasta deelden. Uiteraard jammer na 24u te reizen én dit hotel mét restaurant te kiezen zodat we met onze dochter gemakkelijk waren voor de avonden. We namen onze zak chips om toch iets te hebben. De volgende dag was het tijd voor het ontbijt. Daar was niets op aan te maken, 3 lekkere gerechtjes, vers en met liefde bereid. In de namiddag keerden we tegen 14h terug van uitstap en vroeg ik de lunchkaart. Er was geen mogelijkheid om te lunchen omdat er iets kapot was, misschien een uurtje later kregen we als boodschap. We aten opnieuw onze chips en niemand kwam of vroeg nog iets. We bleven aan het zwembad liggen, vroegen een pintje waarbij het leeg blikje en onze lege chipszak 3u later nog bij ons lag, met beesten erop. Er loopt ongeveer 10 man rond die daar zit terwijl er geen volk is maar ze laten dit allemaal liggen (geen vuilzakken nabij zwembad). Tegen 18u gingen we douchen omdat we veel honger hadden en vroeg wilden eten. We kregen nieuwe melding dat er iets kapot was en dat we slechts enkele zaken konden eten met wel zeer beperkte keuze: schnitzel en pasta… aangezien ikzelf dit niet eet werd de ontbijtkaart erbij gehaald en kon ik een omelet bestellen… we bestelden hierbij een pintje die we 15min later nog niet kregen ondanks dat we het enige tafeltje waren.

Nice rooms, facilities and a lovely reformer room

Was travelling as a solo young woman for a few days and felt some of the male staff were unprofessional. Several of them had clearly checked my name in the system and found my private social media accounts / requested me, prior to having spoken to me in real life. Felt a little intrusive and made me enjoy my stay less as a result.

A wonderful hotel. We participated in yoga and reformer classes. The instructors were attentive. The room and hotel surroundings were clean. The staff were helpful and very friendly. We constantly received information about the area from the reception, they were very helpful. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The staff were also very attentive.

Wir hatten insgesamt eine wunderschöne Zeit hier! Die Lage ist einfach toll – man ist in kürzester Zeit direkt am Meer. Die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr schön, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und alles war super sauber. Auch das Yoga-Angebot war absolut toll und das Essen hat uns hervorragend geschmeckt – dass es wegen der Nebensaison manchmal nicht die komplette Auswahl gab, war für uns völlig verständlich und hat der Qualität keinen Abbruch getan. Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön geht an Kalhara! Er war unser absoluter Lieblingskellner, unglaublich aufmerksam und hat unseren Aufenthalt mit seinem tollen Service jeden Tag bereichert. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt war, dass unser Zimmerschloss kaputt war und wir das Zimmer leider drei Tage lang nicht richtig abschliessen konnten. Das Team hat das Problem aber schlussendlich gelöst und war sehr bemüht. Wir kommen aufgrund der tollen Atmosphäre und des lieben Personals sehr gerne wieder!

Breakfast was lovely and there was a great selection. The staff was so friendly and attentive which made us feel super welcome. It’s quite a small property with ~10-12 guests at a time, which was great because it was always super quiet and relaxing. The wellness classes they offer was also a nice touch, even though we didn’t get a chance to participate during our stay.

The pool was slightly dirty, but that was truly the only negative.

The aesthetics of the place are amazing. Food is also good. Staff behaviour was polite and friendly.

Food options very limited out of which many were unavailable.

A hidden jungle paradise in Ahangama. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful rooms, a stunning pool, and amazing tropical design. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the whole place had a perfect luxury-meets-nature vibe. Great location near the beach and surf spots. Definitely one of the most unique stays in Sri Lanka

I really enjoyed the vibes of the place Staff is amazing The location is great Calm peaceful Surrounded by nature Rooms are very clean, fresh water and new towels everyday, it is a game changer The food is delicious, fresh and healthy I also tried the reformer class with a very good teacher, it was a great class ! The hotel combines all you need for a nice stay in Ahangama Not to mention that it is 5 mn away from the beach

Absolutely brilliant stay, could not recommend more highly, staff were lovely and attentive. Food and breakfast was lovely, great rooms.

Very peaceful and we had an amazing sleep here! (Big shoutout to the blackout curtains and extra fan for hot days) !!! Staffs were amazing in accomodating to our dietary needs! Service is like no other. I’d give 11/10 rating if I could.

Loved it! Such a great place, with great rooms, people, vibe and food. Would deffo recommend. Hopefully will get to visit again!

Mat pilates passen var det bästa, tack vare den grymma instruktören! Träningslokalen var även magisk! Rummen var fina och stora. Mysigt med jungelkänslan med aporna i träden.

Vi åt middag i restaurangen, vilket vi önskar att vi inte gjorde. Aldrig smakat så smaklös mat, förutom sushin som var OK. Personalen var även otydlig, man kunde köpa till frukost för 15 dollar, men när vi väl skulle äta sa de att det var menyn som gällde. Bokade mycket boendet för vi skulle få god middag & frukost. Sedan fanns där 4 st solsängar som ett gäng ockuperade under hela vistelsen, så man fick ligga på stengolvet brevid poolen.

Prachtig ingericht, erg vriendelijk personeel en schone kamers. Ook het restaurant biedt heerlijk eten en drinken. Al met al heerlijk.

Toen wij er waren leek het hotel overgenomen door een groep van 10 tot 15 mensen, die vooral bestond uit gasten van buiten het hotel. Daardoor was het continu erg druk, bijvoorbeeld het zwembad. Dit is erg jammer voor de betalende in house gasten.

La habitación preciosa y el cuarto de baño enorme. Las instalaciones son estupendas y me gustaron mucho las clases de yoga.

Our stay was absolutely amazing We stayed here for 3 nights, and honestly, this hotel is worth staying for a week or even longer. Everything is very well thought out and comfortable: a beautiful pool, stylish design, a huge bathroom, and very delicious food. The service was wonderful - everyone was very kind and friendly. You can perfectly combine Pilates and yoga here, which makes the experience even better. And the beach is just nearby Highly recommend this place 🤍

I enjoyed my stay so much. The resort feels like a hidden paradise in the middle of the jungle — very peaceful, quiet, and beautiful. The room was very clean and comfortable. I loved the pool area and the chill-out space behind it. The in-house Pilates and yoga studio were amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The overall vibe of the place is really special.

We had an amazing experience at Terra resort. The resort is beautiful, very clean and well maintained. The staff is super kind and welcoming, the restaurant is excellent, there are lots of nice activities at the resort like yoga, Pilates, ice baths, and more, which really add to the experience. A must visit place to relax and enjoy in Sri Lanka!

Very clean, well maintained and planned. Management team and staff reacted very quickly to our requests or questions. We really felt that people working there are taking care of their guests. And a big plus that they do entertainment at the premises (open mic, parties or occasional dinners)

Good location.

Run down for the price. Clean towels and bedding stained from long term usage. Sun loungers need replacing. Lots of mosquitos, and no provisions in place to try and control.

Great rooms, pool, setting and food was delicious.

Walk along a hectic road to beach. Management not as friendly as they might have been.

The hotel is located slightly away from the city center, which is a good thing. In any case, you can reach the center in 5 minutes by tuk-tuk. It is very well maintained and elegant, with a small, stylish designer pool. The restaurant is excellent. It’s a lively place where it’s pleasant to spend time without needing to go out in the evening, as they often organize events. There are also Pilates and yoga classes in a beautiful space, open to non-guests as well.

The rooms are nice, although those on the ground floor facing the pool lack privacy and you have to keep the curtains closed all the time, which isn’t ideal.

מקום מהמם באמצע הג׳ונגל, חדרים גדולים ונוחים, בריכה מהממת וכיפית. מחיר מצויין לתמורה, סגרנו 4 לילות והארכנו לשבוע כי מאוד נהנינו. המקום קרוב להמון מסעדות טעימות ולחוף. השירות נהדר, מנקים את החדר כל יום ומאוד נעימים ונחמדים. האוכל במסעדה מאוד טעים ויש המון מגוון. י גן בר על הבריכה עם מגוון קוקטיילים, יין בירות ועוד… יש שאלה של יוגה יפיפיה ויש שיעורי יוגה מגוונים, פילאטיס ואפילו פילאטיס מכשירים! ממליצה מאוד על המקום, בטוח נחזור!

The food was another pleasant surprise. Whether it was breakfast, room service, or the restaurant meals, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The variety was great and they clearly care about quality. The facilities were top-notch.the pool area was relaxing, and all the shared spaces felt inviting and well maintained. It’s clear the hotel invests in keeping everything in excellent condition. Overall, this hotel exceeded all my expectations. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable, comfortable, and high-quality experience.

Equipa fantástica, muito simpáticos e acolhedores. O quarto é fantástico, moderno, muito bem decorado e até a fragrância da roupa de cama, toalhas, amenities, é pensado. E inesquecível. Seguramente iremos voltar!

טרה זה המקום המושלם לטיול שלכם בסרי לנקה , בתור אחת שבאה לגלוש וגם לעבוד ולהנות מחוויה של אוכל טעים, קצת נסיעה בסקייט, להכיר אנשים, לישון טוב בחדר מפנק ומושלם זה המקום המדוייק ביותר ! המיקום הסביבה הים שקרוב בהליכה ממש נחמדה וכייפית בתוך העיירה יוצרת האת החוויה המושלמת ! האוכל טרי וטעים ביותר הקפה מושלם בתור אחת שאכלה את כל התפריט שווה לכם! הבעלים מדהימים קשובים ונעימים! מרגיש ממש כמו בית מושלם ! תודה לכם הייתה חופשה נדירה!

Prachtig verblijf, mooie kamer en heerlijk zwembad. Lekkere ontbijt keuzes en op een goede plek dichtbij Kabalana Beach waar je kunt surfen.

24/7 receptie staat wel bij het whatsapp nummer maar sluit eigenlijk om 22:00 goed om te vermelden ivm noodgevallen

Heel fijne en strak ingerichte kamer met een goed bed. De badkamer was erg groot en schoon. Vanuit de kamer(s) heb je uitzicht op de binnenplaats met een zwembad. Er zijn super veel activiteiten die je kunt doen bij de accommodatie. Surfplanken huren, yoga lessen, pilates, volgens mij zelfs een ijsbad. Wij hebben er helaas geen gebruik van gemaakt omdat we ziek waren op het moment dat we er zaten. Het eten bij het resort is goed en gevarieerd en het personeel is erg vriendelijk.

Er waren geen waterkoker, thee en koffie aanwezig op de kamer.

Echt een perfecte accommodatie. Prachtig, ruime, schone kamers waarbij je zelfs een badjas/tandenborstel/ lekkere zeep en shampoo krijgt. Elke dag wordt alles netjes en fijn schoongemaakt. Erg vriendelijk personeel en perfecte WIFI. Fijn, schoon zwembad.
