Reviewed Aug 4, 2025We loved EVERYTHING about our stay. This beautiful little property is in prime location in Paarl and it had everything that you would need. The amazing attention to detail was at the highest level and made our stay just so much more amazing. Check-in was also super easy and Alex was amazing and so friendly and helpful with showing us around. Not only is this property stunning, but the amenities are next level. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Cannot wait to book this property again.

I was annoyed about the cleaning fee added to the fee afterwards. Why not just include cleaning in the price that is clearly visible to browsers? It’s not as if cleaning is optional!?

Hidden costs that consisted of a both a cleaning fee and additional pre paid electricity on the air-conditioning. The cleaning fee of R500 is also rather excessive.

Reviewed Mar 3, 2025Even just for an overnight for a wedding in Paarl, this was the perfect accomodation. Very central and walking distance from everything that is needed. It's very modern with its Red Kitchen finishings. The Aircon (albeit prepaid) was a plus in an old heritage building like this. Modern meets heritage.

The ‘sofa’ bed in the second bedroom was not a sofa bed. It was a pull-out trundle bed which was unsuitable for an adult to sleep on because it was too small. This was not described accurately in the description. Lack of pleasant outside/garden space.

Our fourth person slept on a foldout sofa, which was fine, except the sofa hadn't been cleaned so when folded out, it had a lot of crumbs, etc. Plus there was no sheet or towel for the fourth person. But Alex was waiting for us and came back immediately when we asked about the above and took care of us. Hallways were pretty dirty. A quick swep or vacuum would've made the whole place look a lot better.

The neighbours across from us were extremely noisy until the early hours of the morning. That was the only thing that soured the stay for us.

The building could be cleaner. The building hallways and floors leading to the apartment are a little off-putting with the smell of urine. Not having a window in the main room for fresh air was not good and very claustrophobic.

I was almost sure the original advertisement said there was a balcony, but maybe one of the other units had one.

The apartment has an inverter that enables continued access to the internet as well as gas plates so one can cook during blackouts. There's an elevator that had no issues for our stay Adele was always friendly and responsive to any of our issues
The streaming service to watch TV programs was the worst ever. Be warned if you want to watch the news or sport or TV series, there will be major buffering.
