De accommodatie ligt in een groene, rustige omgeving en er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid. De familiekamer was ruim genoeg en schoon. Een speciale vermelding voor de fantastische douche! Dat was op veel plekken in Maleisië wel anders...

De kamer was een beetje vochtig, en het is er erg gehorig. De accommodatie ligt wat verder weg van het centrum. Het is ca. 20 minuten lopen, maar je kan natuurlijk ook een Grab regelen.

Sfeervol ingericht en leuk aangelegd. Je kan zelf water tappen en snackjes pakken. Schone kamers en vriendelijk personeel!

Geen opbergruimte in de kamer, waardoor je alleen “uit de koffer” kan leven.

Avec l’humidité ambiante liée à l’altitude de Tanah Rata, les chambre restent humides, la ventilation est bonne mais doit être activée le jour (trop bruyante la nuit).

The room was unfortunately very small. There was no space to store our stuff. And it was super loud at night. Bad insolation.

L’hotel si trova in una posizione molto tranquilla, lontana dal traffico: il centro di Tanah Rata si raggiunge in circa 10–15 minuti a piedi, ma il percorso è leggermente in salita e in alcuni tratti non è presente un marciapiede. Per noi non è stato un problema, ma è un aspetto da tenere presente, soprattutto se si preferisce avere il centro facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo ricevuto risposte rapide alle nostre richieste.

L’aspetto più problematico del soggiorno è stato l’elevato tasso di umidità presente in camera, che la rendeva molto fredda e poco accogliente. Purtroppo non era presente un deumidificatore. Inoltre, le camere sono scarsamente insonorizzate: si sentono facilmente i rumori provenienti dalle camere vicine, quindi la presenza di vicini rumorosi può risultare particolarmente problematica. Durante il soggiorno la camera non è stata rifatta: abbiamo dovuto chiedere noi gli asciugamani di ricambio e la carta igienica. La richiesta è stata comunque soddisfatta rapidamente.

Erg vochtige kamers. Stonden al ontvochtigers te loeien bij aankomst.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und haben alles was man braucht. Kann ich empfehlen.😊👍

Location, cleanliness

The location is great as we prefer a quiet place to stay, away from the crowded town, yet still within walking distance to both Brinchang and Tanah Rata. The staff were very helpful, attentive, and responsive throughout our stay. We also really liked the common area, which provided extra space for our big family to gather and spend time together. There was ample and secure parking space as well. Overall, we were very happy with the stay and would definitely recommend it.

The room was cute and very clean, it had everything we needed. Also the view is nice and we loved our balcony. The absolutely best thing about this place was the shower 🤭 Best one we've had on our 3-week-journey trough Malasya and Singapore, warm water (all the time) and good pressure. This is a plus in the cooler climate of Cameron Highlands. Another plus was the parking place, enough space for every guest. Trough the chat of Booking we had contact for cleaning our room and getting fresh coffee, tea, sugar, ... This went smooth.

It was very noisy: in the morning we could hear everything what was happening in the room next to us (we could use their wake-up-call every 15 minutes 😐) and the tree is nice but also causes a lot of noise from the room above ... Another minor thing: there was a barista spot but in the 3 days we stayed here the barista wasn't there. No problem, but just take away the sign that says you can get coffee here all day. And be aware the main city centre is a 15-20 minute walk, we didn't mind and rented a motorbike. Grab is also working here, but it's good to know.

Amazing garden resort, quiet and nice environment. Very value for money. Everything was very well maintained. The garden has tons of flowers and plants

Quite hotel, clean and friendly staff.

The pipelines from the upper floor where crossing inside our bathroom sealing. Additionally, one pipeline had a leak and it was dripping over our toilet seat. Although we mentioned that in the hotel staff, problem was never fixed. The whole bathroom was smelling bad and we had to leave bathroom windows open. There was no soap in bathroom sink, no litter bin or toilet brush, however, after our complaints they added all that. Lastly, although we had booked a room for 3 adults, there was 1 double bed and 2 matrixes in the floor. No extra bed. I don't think a matrix in the floor is considered bed.

This property is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff are exceptional - they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable! Bottled water was replenished both in our room and in the kitchen area. They also supplied little snacks in the kitchen which was lovely.

The only slight downfall was lack of heat in the room. It was a bit cold at night and on rainy days (we visited during the first two weeks of February). The staff supplied us with an extra blanket which helped come bedtime.

It is very quiet and the environment is calm. Good facilities provided.

It is not reachable by public transport and the cleanliness can be more improved.

The family room was spacious as well as the bathroom. We enjoyed chilling in the balcony in the mornings as well as at night to enjoy the cool night air. Love the garden, potted plants and general greenery enveloping the property. It feels like the building was built into the trees. The area is very quiet, barefly any vehicles pass on the main road outside. There is a small business district down the road with cafes, kopitiams, mamaks, mini markets and the very yummy hot pot restaurant - just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

The family room has 2 single mattresses. One on the mezzanine floor and the other on the tiled floor. The mattress on the tiled floor could do with a platform of sorts as the coolness of the tiles seeps through the mattress making it quite cold for the person sleeping on that mattress.

The location is quiet and private. Absolutely perfect if you wish for a quiet and private stay. Perfect to recharge. The garden was beautiful. A real Getaway. No food served here. There are the usual coffee and tea in the room.

Not much to dislike except if you are looking for a different type of vibe.

The staff were very nice. We have been contacted ahead of our arrival what made us feeling welcome. All our requests on arrival (e.g. a third towel) were met with a smile. The receiption lady was available on WhatsApp all the time. We took Grab (3 mins) to arrive from the bus terminal, but otherwise it is a 16mins walk. I recommend a Tai restaurant 7 mins away from the Retreat - it is excellent!

Despite smomking was forbiden at the property (thank you!) we could smell someone smoking.

The villa is located in a peaceful area and it is surrounded by a tropical garden very well maintained.

The room and bathroom need some maintenance. Because it is a wet environment, there was a smell of mould which can be disturbing for allergic persons.

The location is super strategic and it’s far from the main bustling main road. Tho the view is a factory, all the other merits made up for it.

Only one thing, the small bugs that crawled in through the tiny gaps of the glassdoor in the night time. There’s no way to prevent them from coming in.

The room was spacious. Had a queen size bed and two single mattresses. The bathroom was clean and the hot water works great

They didn’t clean the room during our stay. The location was ok, close to everything but there’s an intersection between the retreat to everything else and there’s always traffic. Took us 30 mins to drive 1km.

It was a pretty room and also had a nice little balcony outside. For the first time this trip in Malaysia, we had a very lovely shower. Lot of water pressure and nice, warm water. Very much appreciated. We had a rental car which made it easy to go to the centre, but would say it is a walkable distance. Just make sure you bring a torch/flashlight.

Only downside is that two nights/early mornings in a row we were woken up by dogs howling outside.

E' molto umido e freschino la sera. Si potrebbe pensare di aggiungere un sistema di deumidificazione efficace nelle camere.

Chambre très chouette pour le secteur géographique. Petit balcon agréable meme si la Vue n’est pas très belle. Bouilloire dans la chambre avec thé et café blanc. Un arbre qui « traverse » la chambre est fait une décoration originale. L’accueil est ttes agréable et la personne qui nous a accueillie est serviable. Elle nous a bien conseillé.

Beaucoup d’humidité dans ce secteur de la Malaisie et donc salle de bain très humide. Tuyauterie visible dans la salle de bain qui mérite d’être nettoyée.

Excellent homestay that amazed me when I arrived: good scenery, comfy room, clean environment, friendly staff, etc. Short distance to town and 20 minutes to the sunrise location. Overall, a satisfying trip!

Nature greenery and clean

The bed and pillow are not comfortable enough with the value paid for no matter with nice environment with not resting well. Also, till morning 1 am ++ the vehicles noise is loud and disturbing the resting quality.

We had some disturbance from loudy neighbours, but when made notice it was solved right away. So it could be that the walls are a bit thin. Otherwise very happy with our choice.

The environment was very calm and chilly. Room is not huge but very cosy. Definitely suitable for those who want a relaxing stay.
