Ahangama können wir in der Regenzeit nicht empfehlen. Baden im Meer unmöglich.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Crown Breeze Hotel sehr genossen. Wir wurden mit einer frischen Kokosnuss begrüßt und konnten gleich unsere Zimmer beziehen. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert wunderbar und es gab keine Stromausfälle oder ähnliches. Die Zimmer sind wie auf den Fotos ersichtlich. Es gibt am Grundstück viele Moskitos aber wenn man die Zimmertüre geschlossen hält verirren sich keine Tierchen ins Zimmer. Das Zimmer wurde auf unseren Wunsch hin während des Aufenthaltes einmal grundgereinigt und alle Handtücher gewechselt. Das Frühstück war grandios. Obwohl es eigentlich nur bis 10:00 Frühstück gibt durften wir regelmäßig später frühstücken - da wir Surfstunden gebucht hatten. Wir wurden täglich mit neuen Leckereien überrascht und konnten meistens nicht alles aufessen. Die Mitarbeiter haben sowohl eine Safari -Yala- als auch einen Flughafentranfer für uns organisiert -alles top funktioniert. Der Pool ist schön und es gibt Liegen mit Sonnenschirmen. Wer in Kabalana Surfen will muss ein gutes Stück zufuß gehen oder mit dem tuktuk fahren - aber alles keine Problem. Fazit: wir waren begeistert und würden wiederkommen.

Die Dusche im Poolbereich funktioniert im Moment nicht. Der Pool wurde aber stets gereinigt sodass die fehlende Dusche kein Problem verursacht hat. Es gibt keine Moskitonetze in den Zimmern. Wir haben unsere eigenen mitgebracht und konnten diese mühelos befestigen.

Quiet and well kept property with spacious and clean rooms. Situated a short walk from the Main Street and the beach. The pool was nice, as was the outdoor dining area. The breakfast was big and tasty too.

De afgelopen dagen verbleven we bij Crown Breeze in Ahangama. Wat een fantastische plek! Alles klopte: de prachtige kamers, het heerlijke zwembad en het uitstekende personeel maakten ons verblijf tot een groot succes. Ook de locatie was perfect. Crown Breeze ligt iets van de hoofdweg af, wat juist erg prettig was vanwege de drukte. Binnen drie minuten lopen stond je weer aan de hoofdweg. Ook ’s avonds was de route naar het hotel goed te bewandelen, omdat deze goed verlicht was. Absoluut een aanrader!

Staff were exceptional especially the receptionist who was always with a smile. The food was good.

Crown Breeze is een uitstekend adres om in Ahangama te verblijven. De kamers zijn heel ruim en schoon, buiten is het sfeervol met een fijn zwembad en de mensen zijn heel vriendelijk en willen het je graag naar de zin maken. De locatie is heerlijk rustig en toch dichtbij de drukke hoofdstraat.

Pool was essential as we were there late April 🥵 Staff friendly & helped to arrange transport when needed. Water bottle provided with breakfast each morning.

No house cleaning provided, have to ask for new towels, toilet paper, bin empty etc. some hooks for hanging in the bathroom would be handy, no shower screen so bathroom floor wet. Pillows very hard or super soft. These are small things but add up for a 4+ night stay. Lots of mozzies, bring repellent.

Central location, hotel was clean, short tuktuk ride to beaches. Manager and staff very friendly and willing to help with any requests.

O hotel fica bem situado, perto da zona com os restaurantes de praia mais giros (8min a pé). Fica afastado o suficiente da zona principal para não haver ruído. O quarto era grande e confortável, e o pequeno almoço era bom e variado. A piscina foi um grande plus nesta estadia! O staff foi muito prestável durante a nossa estadia.

A porta do nosso quarto em especifico não fechava a 100%, o que levou a que no penúltimo dia tivéssemos a visita de um insecto estranho no nosso quarto… Adicionalmente, haviam algumas melgas no quarto quando chegámos, e reparámos que os quartos são limpos com a porta totalmente aberta, o que explica esta situação.

Property was very clean and host was amazing, couldn’t do enough for us. Realised we’d booked an extra day by mistake and the host cancelled without us incurring any cost. Would definitely return.

Absolutely loved this place - in my opinion, the best value for money in Ahangama. Off the main street so not subject to the traffic that afflicts much of the town - absolutely massive rooms that felt like a luxury hotel. Private patio out the front for drying swimwear etc and LOVED the pool. A lifesaver in the heat. The owner was so kind and accomodating - very grateful for the chocolate icecream poolside!

Perfecte ligging, rustig maar toch overal dichtbij. Lekker ruime kamers met goed werkende airco, koelkast en wifi. Personeel heel vriendelijk en wil je overal mee helpen. Fijn zwembad met ligbedjes. Ook het ontbijt was fantastisch. Het beste wat wij gehad hebben in afgelopen 3 weken.

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal im Crown Breeze und es war sehr komfortabel. Die Zimmer sind sehr gross, modern und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr nett und such der Pool ist super. Es ist sehr nahe von Ahangama Center - man kann die Hauptstrasse in 5 Minuten erlaufen. Der Marshmallow Beach in 7 Minuten. Dafür dass es nicht ganz an der Strasse ist, ist es extrel ruhig und vom vielen Lärm merkt man überhaupts nichts. Preis-Leistung ist wahnsinnig für Ahangama - da gibt es wenig vergleichbares in Ahangama.

The owner and staff are incredible, kind and helpful. Super quiet location but walking distance to the main road and beach. Amazing breakfast. Great powerful hot shower. Beautiful pool and big rooms. Only a couple of villas so very quiet. Extended my stay it was so good.

De locatie is in het centrum en toch rustig. Het ontbijt is heerlijk. De medewerkers zijn ook vriendelijk.

Je hoort de waterboiler aan slaan in de kamer wat soms vervelend is als je slaapt.

We stayed for 8 nights and had a really comfortable, relaxed stay. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond — moving our drying rack out of the rain, replacing my pillow with a softer one on request, and kindly assisting when one of us had an upset tummy. The room was large and comfortable with excellent air conditioning and a reliable hot shower. We really appreciated having a fridge freezer and kettle in the room. Breakfast was tasty each morning (including milk with the tea). The WiFi had just been upgraded and worked very well throughout the whole property. The pool was wonderful for a cooling dip during the heat of the day.

Персонал очень старается, ребята молодцы. Спасибо Алвису за гостеприимство и помощь по любым вопросам. В отеле всего 6 номеров, но скоро будет достроен второй этаж. Локация недалеко от главной дороги, при этом вокруг очень тихо, поют птички, приходят павлины и обезьяны. Прямо в отеле арендовали байк, очень удобно, что не нужно никуда ходить. Завтрак большой: фрукты, омлет, выпечка, иногда местные блинчики. Но если приезжать на долго, то немного приедается. Вообще место душевное, хотелось бы как-нибудь вернуться.

Ein schönes Zimmer, ruhig, obwohl es sehr zentral lag. Ein netter Besitzer, der sich um unsere Wünsche gut gekümmert hat und ein tolles Frühstück!

Wij hebben 2 heerlijke dagen gehad in crown breeze. Ruime kamer, heerlijke douche en prachtig zwembad. De eigenaar is heel gastvrij en sympathiek. Hij regelde vervoer voor ons naar Galle en ook naar onze volgende accommodatie. En toen we vroegen of er ook een wijntje was, ging hij het speciaal halen in de supermarkt. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid. Het ligt iets achteraf, maar nog steeds op loopafstand van de zee.

Goede airconditioning, fijn zwembad en vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ze dragen je tassen en helpen waar het kan. Uitgebreid ontbijt met veel fruit, een omelet, yoghurt en brood. Douche had warm water en werkte goed. Je kunt er een scooter huren voor 2500 roepia per dag of trips boeken zoals dagtrips of een safaritour.

We had a wonderful time at Crown Breeze. The host was very friendly and helpful, which made us feel welcome right away. The room was spacious, beautiful, and spotless. The pool was clean and very relaxing. Breakfast was varied and included fresh fruit. Overall, a very pleasant stay – we can definitely recommend Crown Breeze!

The hotel is very new and it shows. Everything is clean, rooms are super nice, the bed is very comfortable and the pool is great. AC and fan available in the room, both very quiet. The room also has a mini fridge. Right now, they only have 7 rooms, but they are adding 7 more

The hotel is beautiful. Peaceful, clean and amazing host. Breakfast was the best part of the day. So many options and a personal touch. Pool was clean and at perfect temperature.

Building still in construction but no work during my stay

The hotel offers new, clean, and comfortable rooms, with a beautiful pool area and a good, generous breakfast. It’s located a bit away from the main road, which makes it peaceful and quiet—perfect for relaxing. The staff was very friendly, and overall it felt like good value for money.

One downside is that the area around the hotel can be quite dark in the evenings, and since there isn’t much around except for the hotel and a small restaurant, walking back at night can feel a bit isolated. Also, while the room was very clean, it had a strong smell of incense and perfume when I arrived.

Host was incredibly hospitable and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful, way more food than most free breakfasts. Room was well air conditioned.

Very nice stay with big and clean rooms. The breakfast which was provided was very good, and the location of the accommodation was also nice. The location was also good, not too far from nice restaurants and still located in a quiet area, so not a lot of noise.

Nice and clean rooms, with booth aircondition and a ceiling fan. The hotel is located within walking distance to the city centre and the beach. The staff was kind and helpful. They served a very big and good breakfast each morning, which were freshly made.

The door to our room didnt close properly, so we had to lock the door to close it. I also wish that the door closed properly, as there were some mosquitos in our room. This could be solved by a mosquito net over our bed. I also wish there was moore sunbeds.

Great personell, location and rooms. Everything was fresh and clean. Personell were so helpful with everything! We liked that we could rent a scooter straight from the hotel, and we got beach towels. The breakfast was really good, with lots of fresh fruit everyday.

The location, the staff, the fact there’s a pool, and the central location of the place, yet it’s on a quiet inner street, so you can enjoy the peace.

Great place to stay in Ahangama if you are looking for a private room with your partner or just by yourself. The hotel is very well located and the rooms are very comfortable and clean.

Our stay was absolutely delightful! The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was the best we had during our month-long travels in Sri Lanka. The location is fantastic, with the beach just a 10-minute walk away, and there’s a lovely pool perfect for cooling off. If we had more days we have stayed longer.

We had a lovely stay at Crown Breeze. The accommodation is completely new. The rooms are big and neat with a comfortable bed and hot showers. The host family is super friendly and helpful and made an amazing breakfast every day for us. We could use their scooters and they brought us to our next accommodation by car. Within a few minutes walking you are at the Main Street where all the restaurants are located with sea view. Kabalana beach is less than 5 minutes by tuk tuk.
