Orana Villa

If you want something off the beaten path, at Ahangama, the Orana Villa is the place to choose. The family run villa is located at the end of an alley (dead end) so no car traffic and no noise! The upper road is easily accessible and leads to the centre of the city (market place). I had foreseen to stay 2 nights and finally I stayed 6 nights. The welcome from the family and its kindness were the big plus of my stay.

Nice and clean, very quiet and close to the main strip

The family who hosted this villa are one of the most lovely families I have ever met. They are the epitome of Sri Lankan hospitality - warmth and welcoming and just heaven to deal with. They made me feel so safe and happy to be there. I stayed for 5 nights and would absolutely go back.

Super mooie kamer en zo lekker rustig. De mensen zijn onwijs vriendelijk en hebben echt goed voor me gezorgd. Opa zwaaide je iedere keer uit als je weggaat waardoor het heel huiselijk voelt. Prijs kwaliteit ook goed!

Goede locatie, alles op loop afstand. Aardige hosts. Wifi was niet goed om video gesprekken te hebben.

Am avut o ședere foarte confortabilă la Orana Villa! Cazare foarte bine dotată și facilitată. Camere curate cu balcon, baie modernă cu apă caldă. Livingul și bucătăria foarte spațioase ca și camerele de altfel. Familia a fost foarte primitoare și am putut comunica și rezolva orice problemă. Ne-am întoarce cu siguranță și am recomanda cu încredere!

I love the place. Room looks modern and friesh... No crazy colors lanka style things in design)) Very comfortable bed, good shower. Amazing location, close to everything but in a calm area. Small kitchen is available.... equipment you can get by request. Friendly and helpful owners!

Very loud nose from kitchen.. i guess concrete table connected to walls transmit all sounds, which is annoying at the morning if you r in a mood to sleep 😅

Orana Villa is one of the loveliest stays we’ve been to! The home has everything that you need. From a kitchen, a table to eat/work at and a nice place to hang out. The room itself is spacious and clean. The family is very helpful and sweet. Definitely recommend! We will be back ❤️

It was the best accomodation we had in Sri Lanka. Very clean, shower was hot and had different levels, had a little outdoor chill area. The family hosting it was so lovely, we wanted to extend our stay, but it was already (understandably so) fully booked. I hurt my ankle surfing, and the host provided ice and cold water. I felt really cared for, felt like a home faraway from home. we might be back someday!

It's down a back lane so some solo travellers may not like that at night, though I always felt safe.

Very clean and felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Moshaka went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and was so accommodating throughout! They have laundry services as well and it was just lovely and excellent value for money. Location is very central

Little things make a big difference. A sign at the end of the lane to give directions. Enough power points to be able to charge all devices at the same time. Add a wonderful welcome from great people.
