I was very happy with my stay at Family Hotel. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful throughout my visit.
A special thank you to Jack, who helped me purchase tickets for Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianmen Mountain, which made organizing my sightseeing so much easier. The gentleman who runs the hotel also drove me to the park every day, which I really appreciated. They were always ready to help with anything I needed, and I even received little cookies and treats – such a lovely touch! 😊
The accommodation offers very good value for money, and overall I had a wonderful experience here. I felt very welcome and well looked after during my entire stay.
I would definitely choose this hotel again if I return to Zhangjiajie. Highly recommended! ❤️

They helped us book nearby attractions (without any additional pricing, we checked) and gave us a lot of recommendations for which order to do activities, what times to go, etc. They went out of their way to assist us and check up on us throughout the day. Some of the kindest people we met in all of China. The rooms are right in the centre and have comfy beds and good showers. Can’t fault it really.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026The hotel owners are world champions. This was my second stay at this hotel, and honestly, I can't imagine staying anywhere else in this city. The location is fantastic, and the service deserves the highest praise. When you go to Wulingyuan, you don't even have to worry about anything during your stay. Don't have tickets to nearby attractions? You don't have to worry about that. Just ask the hotel owner or one of his sons, and they'll take care of everything. They handle the impossible immediately, but miracles take a day. :)
Remember one thing: this isn't a five-star Hilton, but that's not the point. This hotel and its staff simply have soul, and the "Family" in the hotel's name isn't a sign or a cliched slogan, but a promise of how you'll be taken care of.

Wziął naszą rezerwację kolejnego hotelu w Zhangjiajie, zadzwonił do nich aby potwierdzić nasz przyjazd, zapytał o dokładną lokalizację a potem...
