Quietness, nature
It’s not ideal on a cold rainy night, hard to keep body temperature up but the hot water bottles were excellent
Lovely setting lovely facilities lovely yurt
Nothing
Helen and Sean are the best hosts. I had actually made a mistake booking this for the wrong night, they were good enough to let my Fiancé and I stay another night. The yurts are class, the facility has everything you need. Will definitely be back, the perfect place to get away from everything in paradise, overlooking portsalon beach ! We are very grateful- thank you.

Nice and, cozy area with the beautiful view,
Lovely peaceful location .
Beautiful setting - the Yurt was clean and so welcoming. The wild flowers in a vase was such a special touch.
Lovely, quite, cosy, fresh air, perfect view, Sean and Helen Coll very freindly owners. Best place to relax for weekend. Firepalce is best thing in Yurt. 3km away nice town Portsalon with local pub with nice view.
Views from the Yurt were incredible and it was so nice to be able to sit out around the firepit late into the night. Inside the Yurt was lovely and cosy.
Beautiful setting, surrounded by nature. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were incredibly clean and tidy. Tea and coffee provided. The yurt was very cosy and comfortable with a bag of free logs provided for the stove.
No towels were provided which I didn't realise before we arrived. Thankfully we had brought one with us for swimming in the sea but this is something to note.
Superb accommodation in a beautiful, tranquil location. First time to stay in yurt - highly recommend it.
Beautiful location. A place of simplicity where you can drive up and disconnect from technology. Very comfortable beds and great owners who are friendly and very down to earth. Well located for local attractions and beaches. Kitchen and toilet/shower buildings are easily accessible, very clean. Kitchen is well set up if you want to cook for yourself.
Nothing
Toilet is too far from tent 4
The yurt was warm when we arrived but cooled through the night. The views are fantastic and environment around the yurt is woderful Kitchen is well equipped.

The view and accommodation were fabulous 💞
Owners were very personable and welcoming. Large yurt tent. Toilet block very near to our tent, number 5. Full use of kitchen was very good facility to have when not able to eat outside. Log burner in the yurt was very effective, bed very comfortable. Loved visits from Dynamo the cat.
Extra lighting in the yurt would have been good. The owners of the site did offer us an extra lamp when we mentioned this.
Exceptionally welcoming and helpful hosts, beautiful setting
It was so fun to stay in a yurt! The views outside your door were spectacular. It was private. Everything was ready upon arrival. Fire was set. Hot water bottles laid out. The bed was so so comfy! Facilities for cooking and chilling out were really nice and clean. Our host was lovely also. You could see a beautiful beach from the decking and surrounded by hills and mountains. There was a bbq and fire pit to use privately.
Both myself and my partner, and another guest slipped on the ground on our way to the showers, as it was raining and grass was muddy and slick and the terrain was uphill and downhill along the way. The showers were pump shower and took a few mins to heat up and there was very little pressure, so if you have long, thick hair, it was difficult to rinse your hair properly. Also, the nearest shop was a 15 minute drive as the local shop was closed down it seems. But overall would still visit again!
We really liked the property, the owners were friendly and the views were lovely. It was a cosy stay in our yurt, with the bathroom facilities being close by and clean.
I loved the location and peacefulness of everything. Was nice having the fire pit to use while looking at the mountains
I didn’t have any faults staying here.
Showers
A lovely spot, just where we needed it.
Very clean.
The setting of the site was fabulous with views from each pod , it was private and peaceful. Helen was fab host and was responsive and couldn’t do enough , nothing was a problem . Highly recommend this place
Nothing
Great location, the views would have been superb but sadly spoiled by the overcast weather. Easily found yet isolated enough to enjoy the quiet of the countryside. The yurt was larger than expected with a comfy bed and the woodfired heater kept us cosy through the evenings.
The rain! No, nothing the property owners could do about that. You take your chances with the weather in Ireland.
So clean accommodation and a very relaxing and serene place
Unfortunately our wee lights didn't work wasn't life threatening obviously but would have added to the experience
Lovely location 5m drive to Portsalon for swimming or walking or just going for a bite to eat.. Excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities.
Maybe a chair or two on the deck would be nice
Great place to relax. Great view. In the evening, you can make a fire and enjoy the silence.
Beautiful setting, each yurt has its own garden/outdoor area, amazing views and energy. Really good quality and comfortable bed, bedclothes and pillows. Little woodburning stove brings a cosy feel to the yurt, during the evening. Access to clean shower block and a well equipped kitchen with all utensils and seating area. Hosts are so welcoming and helpful, they also provide Free range eggs from their hens and Helen also designs and hand makes some beautiful sea glass jewellery from the local beach.
Nothing, everything was perfect. I will return 100%
Loved the location, the views, the stove, the yurt, the whole set up really! We were a bit apprehensive about no electricity in the yurt but it was actually better this way as we really got to relax and enjoy our surroundings. We both enjoyed just disconnecting from the real world. It was exactly what we needed! And Helen and Sean were so welcoming to top it all off!
My only negative is that we didn't stay longer!
Such a unique unforgettable stay. Loved the views from the yurt. Having the stove and wood was a bonus in keeping the yurt cosy. Bed was super comfy, and the hot water bottles were a nice touch. Toilet and kitchen facilities were clean and tidy with everything you would need.
Possibly more furniture inside, it looked a bit bare in our yurt (Mulroy) with only 1 rocking chair, 2 would have been more ideal.
Fantastic scenery, and facilities. The couple who ran it couldn't have been nicer. Great experience, will definitely be back!
Peaceful and relaxing getaway in Portsalon. The yurt was lovely, liked all the little touches like the fairy lights and the fire being ready to light.
Can be quite noisy in the yurt when it’s windy outside!
The views were absolutely stunning, perfect location and the Yurts were so cosy and comfortable.
Secluded and private yet lots to do nearby. Great views. And very peaceful. Toilets and kitchen completely spotless and great information in the booklet in your yurt. Would recommend.
Log burner didn’t heat the yurt up quiet enough for me so bring extra layers. Although there is an extra blanket and also two hot water bottles there incase 😊
Fabulous location, wonderful yurts, lovely hosts.
The yert was so cosy, the bed very comfortable with good linen, the small wood stove was wonderful. Great view from the chairs in front of yert across to hills and down to coast. Helen and Sean super approachable and even supplied some fresh veges from their garden.
The Kitchen is well equipped just could use a couple of staples as standard like milk, oil and butter to avoid wastage however Helen happily provided some oil when we were short!
Gorgeous views and such a cosy set up in the yurts. There's so many little touches like the hot water bottles and extra fleeces provided. The shower and kitchen facilities were lovely and clean. The grounds themselves are really pretty and very well maintained.
It's in a lovely spot but relatively far from amenities like restaurants and the beach- like for most places in Donegal, a car is a must!
The experience of staying in a yurt was very fun and different. Toilets and washing facilities were superb with a brilliant kitchen setup with plenty of space to cook and eat.
There was no electricity supplied to our yurt unfortunately and the interior solar lights were very weak, even during the day when the door was closed and window curtains opened it was difficult to see anything in the room. Also midges were there in abundance but that's expected.
Yurt was beautiful, views were amazing, garden around yurt was amazing with wild flowers.
No bin in yurt and no towels provided even though there were showers for all residents.
