Eine wirklich sehr schöne Unterkunft. Wir hatten ein kleines Apartment inmitten einer kleinen grünen Oase. Ein schöner Gemeinschaftsraum, sowie Pool runden alles ab! Wir wurden sehr lieb empfangen von Filip und seinem Kater Felix - es gab einen kleinen Rundgang, sowie eine Ananas (selbst geerntet von der eigenen Plantage) und Wein! Neben der Unterkunft ist ein sehr schöner Aussichtspunkt über die Stadt, den sollte man unbedingt auch mal besuchen :)

We had an extremely pleasant stay at the accommodation. We received an extremely warm and familiar welcome and were shown around the entire property, including the pineapple plantation. We also got to meet Felix, the house cat, who came to visit us every morning and evening. The property is beautiful, with a huge garden and a gorgeous pool area. The accomodation was clean. You could tell that the rooms have been decorated with a lot of care and character. The kitchen was well-equipped and includes a refrigerator. We were welcomed with local cheese and bread as well as butter, yogurt, a basket of fresh fruit including a home-grown pineapple. We received many restaurant recommendations in the area, as well as ideas for activities. We were also offered a private tour of the resort’s own pineapple plantation, but unfortunately didn’t have time for it in the end. The accomodation lies closely to Punta Delgada as well as the airport. I would definitely recommend the accomodation to anyone choosing to travel to São Miguel. I would also consider booking my stay at this accomodation again in case we would decide to re-visit!

Green & Houses was everything we hoped for and more. We were graciously welcomed by our hosts who also left us lovely gifts of food and wine. Our villa was bright, lovely and very clean. We enjoyed the pool and also being within walking distance of three beaches. This place is a jewel and we truly thanked our lucky stars every day that we chose it.

Opiekun obiektu Pan Filipe był niezwykle pomocny i przesympatyczny. Ogród i lokalizacja jest dużym atutem obiektu.

We loved Green & Houses and missed it as soon as we left!! The staff and Filipe are just so great! Filipe provided us with so many suggestions and ideas as well as followed up with us when we had questions. We love getting ideas from locals who are passionate about where they live! We also loved the extras they provided to welcome us. A pineapple from their plantation, fruit, some bread, wine, cheese and yogurt. Wow! We felt at home! Finally, Felix the cat was definitely a character and will become your new best friend if you allow it! We will be back if we get the chance!

Der Pool ist schön, wenn man ihn nutzen kann und das Wetter mitspielt. Süße Wohnung, mit kleinem Meerblick Gute Lage Filipe ist super freundlich und gibt einem viele Tipps für die Umgebung. Auch zeigt er einem seine eigenen Ananasplantagen. Bei der Ankunft bekommt man kostenlosen Käse, Wein, selbstgemachtes Granola, Brot und Obst!

Leider gab es keinen Herd zum Kochen, was für den Aufenthalt etwas unpraktisch war. Die Unterkunft ist direkt an einer Straße, an der vor allem spät abends laute Roller hoch und runter rasen. Nebenan bellen insbesondere spät abends oft stundenlang Hunde, wodurch man nicht wirklich erholsam schlafen kann.

Although the accommodation is in town it is very private and quiet, set in a lovely walled property with beautiful trees and flowers. The studio is compact but quite spacious enough for 2 people to comfortably sleep, eat and relax and the bed is large and very comfortable. The airport is only 10 minutes away and you can drive to the centre of Ponta Delgada in 10 minutes as well. The manager Filipe was very kind and welcoming and even gave us a really informative tour of his pineapple greenhouses.

We loved everything about this property. Our host Filipe was welcoming and gave us a lot of useful tips. We stayed in a villa with a very comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchen. Everything was spotless and well maintained. The beautiful garden leading to the lovely pool area created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place to others.

De host Felipe was heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk en gastvrij. Hij zorgde voor alles en ook voor kleine attenties bij aankomst en was het hele verblijf (6 nachten) altijd in de buurt en beschikbaar voor vragen. Er werd ook vaak schoongemaakt. Goede (bonen)koffie in de gezellige gemeenschappelijke ruimte buiten (overdekt) waren tot onze beschikking. En de prachtige tuin en het schone zwembad natuurlijk. Ook goede tips van Felipe gekregen en interessante verhalen gehoord. Dit was onze vierde accommodatie op het eiland en veruit de leukste en de gezelligste. Felipes betrokkenheid en hart voor zijn zaak (ook de greenhouses) hebben we zeer op prijs gesteld. Het was er ook heel veilig en toch dicht bij het strand en alle eetgelegenheden. En de huiskat is een schatje en een waardevolle toevoeging aan het prettige verblijf :)

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Filipe empfangen und durften auf Nachfrage schon eher in unser Apartment. Dort erwartete uns ein Willkommensgruß mit Käse, Wein und einem reichlich gefüllten Obstkorb, u.a. auch einer Ananas aus eigenem Anbau. Wir können nur empfehlen, Filipes Angebot zu einer Führung durch die Ananasplantage anzunehmen. Es ist sehr interessant. Ansonsten besticht die Anlage durch ihre vielen Blumen und Pflanzen rings um die Apartments. Der Pool lädt zum erfrischen ein, es gibt ausreichend Liegen und Sitzgelegenheiten ringsum. Im Gemeinschaftsbereich steht ein Wasserkocher und ein Kaffeeautomat zur Verfügung. Die Ausstattung des Apartments ist gut (ich hätte mir vielleicht noch eine Käsereibe gewünscht, aber der Pürierstab hat den Käse auch klein bekommen 😉) Filipe hat uns nach unserer Anreise mit jeder Menge Informationen zur Insel und umliegenden Restaurants versorgt.

Unser Außenbereich war leider nicht wirklich nutzbar, da ein Baum dort steht, auf dem sich gern Vögel niederlassen. Aber das war kein wirkliches Problem, da der gemütliche Gemeinschaftsbereich direkt daneben war. Das Problem ist auch bekannt und soll behoben werden.

The property was beautiful! It was like a little oasis in the middle of the town. Everything was so clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the common area and using the pool after getting in. The host was so kind and gave us great recommendations for the area, left us some cheese, fruit, butter, and wine to enjoy, and was kind enough to let us stay past the check out time since we had a later flight. We will definitely be back!

Heerlijk onverwacht verblijf gehad toen onze vlucht gecanceld werd konden we twee nachtjes hier verblijven. We hebben genoten van de prachtige ingerichte huisjes, geurige bloementuin en rust bij het zwembad.

Felipe and Eliana were great. Breakfast food and wine supplied were well appreciated. The apartment met our needs well.

Przepiękne miejsce. Idealne zarówno jako baza do zwiedzania wyspy, jak i na rajski odpoczynek. W ogrodzie jest cicho i kolorowo, a nad ranem pięknie śpiewają ptaki. Apartament wyposażony we wszystko, co potrzebne, był idealnie czysty. Gospodarz jest przemiły i pomocny, dostaliśmy kosz powitalny z lokalnymi przysmakami oraz całą serię polecanych miejsc w okolicy. Na szczególną uwagę zasługuje też kochany kotek, który przychodził do nas każdego ranka 🐈

Perfect location and a great staff.

Absolutely everything: Filipe was beyond welcoming and helpful as were other staff members. The lush surroundings, very close access to the sea and coastal foot path as well as local restaurants and stores was a huge plus. The villa itself was fantastic! Super comfortable with nearly every amenity available to make the stay more pleasant. Superb shower, bed, coach, lounging chair and great climate control for when it’s warm, humid or cool. There’s even a covered, communal gathering area with fresh coffee/espresso available around the clock and a pool with sea views. I am so lucky to have stayed here and miss it already.

Vi følte os meget velkomne. De havde stillet en fin frugt-kurv, vin, brød og ost til os første aften, hvor vi ankom sent. Stedet ligger i gåafstand til hav-pool, smukt udsigtspunkt for solnedgang og tæt på Ponte Delgada. Stort fællesområde med pool og overdækket veranda i grønne omgivelser. Rart med egen parkering, da det er lidt af et problem mange steder. Super serviceminded personale, Felipe kom forbi allerede første dag og spurgte om alt var ok, og gav gode anbefalinger til øen generelt.

We had a lovely stay at Green&Houses. The property is really magical. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to take advantage of the pool area many times but it was still an awesome stay. Filipe was a great host. He gave us a tour and answered all our questions.

We recently stayed at Green&Houses, and it was an absolute 10/10 experience! The whole property feels like a tropical garden paradise – lush, peaceful, and full of beautiful details that make you instantly relax. Our studio with sea view was spacious, with high ceilings, spotless, and tastefully modern. The true highlight, however, is Filipe – an incredibly kind and attentive host who greeted us with a basket of fresh fruit and local wine, including a pineapple from his own garden! From the very first moment, he shared countless tips about the island – hikes, restaurants, and hidden gems – and was always just a message away whenever we needed advice. We felt completely at home and left with the best memories. Thank you, Filipe, for making our time on São Miguel so special – we’ll definitely be back!

Das Apartment war perfekt. Es hat alles was man braucht. Man kann mit dem Bus in die Stadt oder zu Fuß (längerer Spaziergang)

Green&Houses was well-located, comfortable, and modern. Garden and pool are beautiful, and each villa has a private outdoor seating area. Beautiful beaches and coastline are just across the road, and a coastline walking path takes you all the way into Ponta Delgada within about a half-hour, if you choose not to drive. Don’t hesitate to stay here!

Beschrijving klopt! Super vriendelijke gastheer !!! Echt 10/10. Doet dit met passie en geeft veel tips over activiteiten/ restaurants/... Niks was hem teveel.

De frigo is heel klein en was vanbinnen nog een deel bevroren. Dit ontdooide gedurende de 5 dagen, maar moesten we via een potje hieronder opvangen zodat ons eten niet volledig nat was. Na het ontdooien, werkte de frigo prima en was er geen probleem meer.

De tuin was prachtig aangelegd en ook heel bijzonder waren de ananassen die in de kassen groeiden. Het zwembad was ook erg aangenaam

Het matras in de studio was voor mij te hard en het bed net te klein voor 2 personen. Verder was alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt

The weather was colder than expected

The place is located less than 3 miles from downtown ponta delgada, and it is just steps away from the ocean front. We did a morning jog along the ocean on the nice walking/running path all the way to the downtown to take in the amazing view. Our room is on the 2nd floor with ocean view it is very clean and comfortable for our 3 night stay. The property has a greenhouse with pineapple plantation and a beautiful garden and pool. The host Felipe is super friendly and generous of giving us a welcome fruit basket including delicious Azores pineapple, bread and cheese. We highly recommend Green&Houses!

Elena showed us around the beautiful gardens and apartment. It was our honeymoon and they had decorated the room and given us a bottle of champagne, bread and cheese. We also had a big fruit bowl including a pineapple grown on site. This was the most amazing pineapple I've ever tasted! The room was simply but beautifully decorated with everything we needed. Most of the time qe had the pool to ourselves as there are only a couple of houses on site. You can see the sea from the pool. We were able to relax and unwind and explore the local area. Thank you so much for a beautiful stay.

The location is a drive from the centre of ponta delgada so groceries require a taxi but there are plenty of restaurants and bars within 10 minute walk.

Das Bett war leider etwas hart und unbequem für unsere Verhältnisse

It was a very comfortable and spacious ground floor flat . The bed was very comfortable. The owner and manager were very attentive and dealt with an issue with had very professionally.

The place is described as a Vila . However it is not a villa as we would expect . It is a very nice ground floor apartment . There are other apartments/rooms on the site and the swimming pool is shared. Given that we felt the cost for the week was very high even for July.

The property was absolutely beautiful and Felipe was so helpful. We will definitely be back!

The property was beautiful well maintained and very clean. It was also well stocked with fruit, butter, milk, coffee, and wine. The property manager Felipe was extremely helpful, responsive, and super nice. We would definitely recommend this very peaceful property.

The fruit and bread was a wonderful surprise upon arrival and after a long day of travel much appreciated. We loved having a kitchen to make breakfast and a patio to enjoy it on. The pool was fantastic after a long day of hiking or a great spot to enjoy an early morning espresso. Our daughters loved walking to the public swimming spot nearby and running on the coastal path. Overall wonderful experience.

Everything!! 10 minutes from the airport, perfect location, very clean, great pool and amazing host! Having an issue at the airport with our rental car, we arrived to the apartment late. The kids were hungry, we were cranky, and everything was closed. Walking into this beautiful apartment, immediately put us at ease. Then, we see that’s he’s left us a full bowl of fresh fruit, a bottle of wine, cheese and butter… it was perfect! He checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure we were comfortable. Changed out our towels and linens. On our last day, we had asked if we could keep our luggage there, because our flight wasn’t leaving until 6. He said of course. No one was checking in after us, and Phillipe said for us to take our time, enjoy the day, come back and take showers. No rush! I was blown away with his kindness and hospitality. This place was worth every single penny! It was our first experience with an AirBnB, and it 100% exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much, Phillipe!! If we ever come back to the Azores, we will without a doubt be staying with you again!!! ❤️
