Reviewed Sep 11, 2026The property is quite deceiving when from the exterior it appears old and dark. Far from it...as soon as you enter you are greeted with fresh, modern and clean interior. The rooms equal this with bright and modern layouts. Clear instructions on how to enter the property and get keys..and great value too, the hosts were very welcoming.
Not much to put here, but be aware car parking is limited on the driveway.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Siamo state ospiti solo per una notte. La camera era pulita e comoda, si sentiva solo il rumore del fiume vicino alla proprietà, abbiamo dormito molto bene. La colazione continentale è buona (ci sono le cose fondamentali). Ritorneremo sicuramente! Parcheggio per auto è stato molto apprezzato!

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026We were upgraded to a family room that was at the back and looked over the river. The inside has been beautifully renovated and decorated. Everything was exceptionally clean and we enjoyed a lovely Continental breakfast that was very generous and had many choices. The towels were really lovely and the bed was large and very comfortable. We had a great dinner at the Rusty Mackeral pub only a few minutes away. Sleeve League was also only 5 minutes away. Kate was very friendly and personable. A lovely experience.
The light in the en-suite comes on automatically, so getting up in the night which we do these days, meant everything being lit up. The squeaky bathroom door didn’t help.

The traffic passing by the windows was disturbing for a restful sleep. Parking was tight but available.

The room we stayed in had 3 big spiders up on the ceiling with lots of webs up there too. Just something to look out for when cleaning the rooms. We stayed in number 2 Malin.

They do serve breakfast, but it's continental only. And I was cold at night ( duvet was very light). No carpets in the bedroom, felt cold. But I understand it's a floor heating.

Parking was a little tight and there was only a continental breakfast (which was fine for us, but noting in case others care about this aspect).

Pokój czteroosobowy był bardzo przestronny. Łazienka duża i czysta. Łóżka bardzo wygodne, pościel i ręczniki pachnące. Dostępne pomieszczenie do samodzielnego zrobienia kawy i herbaty. Wszędzie bardzo czysto. Wskazówki do samodzielnego meldowania bardzo czytelne, budynek łatwo zlokalizować. Mieliśmy pokój z widokiem na rzekę.

La camera assegnataci al piano superiore permette di godere di una bella vista grazie alle ampie finestre. Mi è piaciuto molto l'arredamento semplice e moderno della stanza. Il personale è gentile e la colazione buona. Assolutamente da consigliare se si è di passaggio.in zona.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Die Lage und Sauberkeit sind sehr gut und auch das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Parken an der Straße ist sehr einfach. Pub, Supermarkt sind in deer Nähe. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Slieve League.
Leider war das Zimmer sehr hellhörig und man konnte die Duschaktivitäten nachts mitverfolgen.

We were able to use the big terrace that is part of the guest house and eat our picnic there and enjoy watching and listening to the river just below. On site parking too. Breakfast was included and it was really good.

Het huis is extreem gehorig. Het bed is geen king size zoals in de beschrijving staat, eerder small. Het ontbijt is extreem sober, minimalistisch. Erzijn 10 kamers en maar 5 parkeerplekken.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026Nous avons été surclassés et avons eu la surprise de bénéficier, d'une grande chambre avec petit coin salon, d'une 2ème chambre avec lits superposés coin salon et d'une salle de bain privative, hébergement refait totalement à neuf, l'établissement se situe au bord d'un torrent avec une grande terrasse accessible pour prendre un verre. plusieurs petites tables et chaises, banc sont installés sur cet espace relativement grand. bon petit déjeuné avec du choix. Carrick est un petit village, mais dispose de plusieurs commerces, un petit super marché, un pub,hôtel resto où nous avons pu diner d' un fish and chips très copieux comme dans tous les resto d'ailleurs le long de notre périple. si vous avez besoin d'un renseignement n'hésitez pas à vous rendre au magasin de souvenirs prête à vous appeler un taxi et à vous renseigner sur la région. pour notre part, nous avons finalement été à slieve league à pied 4kms pour le visitor center puis 3 pour atteindre le haut des falaises. Au départ de carrick il y a un petit chemin piétonnier un peu plus bas que l'hébergement sur votre droite une petite grille donne accès au chemin, cela permet d'éviter une partie de la route
rien, petites étagères dans la salle de bain pour poser ses affaires serait super.
