The room we got on the 3rd floor was formerly a kitchen. It had been renovated, but didn't feel like a proper room. Windows didn't open properly (one was fixed with screws, the other seemed stuck), so ventilation was poor. The floor was tilted so we had to sleep the other way around. The linens and the walls had some dark spots. All in all it wasn't so bad, but I'd probably book somewhere else next time.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026The location was good, close to the main bridge and city center. The room was spacious and clean, and the check-in process was smooth.
The noise was absolutely horrendous. The bed itself made loud noises whenever either of us moved, which was very annoying and made sleeping difficult. The sound insulation between floors was also extremely poor. We could clearly hear people walking and talking upstairs, and we were even woken up around midnight by movement and noise from the room directly above us. Our sleep was repeatedly interrupted throughout the night. Unfortunately, the noise completely ruined our stay and resulted in very poor sleep quality. I would not stay here again, even for free.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026The room is extremely hot. It is located in the attic of the building and has large south-facing windows that let in a lot of sunlight. Unfortunately, the windows cannot be properly opened: one was completely blocked, while the other could only be opened a tiny amount. As a result, the room reached around 40°C during the day and barely cooled down at night. This wasn’t even on a particularly hot day in Porto. The accommodation provided two fans, but they did very little to make the room more comfortable. I contacted the host about the issue, but they said there was nothing they could do and that the windows were restricted for safety reasons. I couldn’t sleep at all during my stay. So, if you value getting a good night’s sleep, I would definitely avoid this room. It’s possible that the other rooms don’t have the same issue.

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026An der Unterkunft hat mir überhaupt nichts gefallen. Angefangen vom Check in bis hin zum Anruf mit Personal alles sehr unfreundlich und schwer zugänglich.
Das Zimmer war extrem laut, Fußboden schmutzig. Staub auf Tische und Einrichtung. Das Bad sehr klein. Waschbecken extrem klein. Wasser wurde gefüllt nach 10 Minuten erst warm. Die Bodenleisten waren beschädigt und hatten „Schimmel“ Die Lage nicht gut. Sehr laute Verkehrsstraße und trotzdem 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis zur Fußgänger Zone. Alles in allem auf keinen Fall weiterzuempfehlen. Preis Leistung sehr schlecht. Für das Geld bekommt man in Porto viel bessere Unterkünfte. Mir wurden andere Bilder eines Zimmers gezeigt und das Zimmer war ein komplett anderes. Das ist unverschämt mit falschen Bildern Gäste anzulocken und dann ein runtergekommenes Zimmer zu bekommen. Auf das Problem angesprochen wurde mir nur gesagt „sorry we can‘t do anything for you“

There was no hot water. I texted the staff, who instructed me to leave the water running for a bit, as the water heat pump is located outside the building and takes a while to reach the room. Unfortunately, it still did not work. A little more attention to cleanliness would be appreciated.

Por ser um edifício antigo, há algumas melhorias a fazer, por exemplo, na caixilharia das janelas do WC.

No tenía ni una silla, ni secador de pelo, ni un lugar cómodo en el baño. Un sólo enchufe al lado de la cama si lo usas no podes prender la lámpara. Las ventanas no se abren no hay ventilación.. no ha basurin.. La pieza es super espaciosa lo que no ponen es porque no les interesa. Las fotos que me enviaron junto a mi reserva no son reales!!!

La cama es extremadamente ruidosa, suena cada vez que te giras (y es una crítica que habíamos leido en reseñas de hace ya un año...) y también suena mucho el techo cuando caminan en los pisos superiores. El baño no estaba correctamente limpio (había mucho sarro en las juntas de la ducha, cosa que se soluciona limpiando un poco más en profundidad) y, para 4 noches, 2 personas, nos dejaron un triste bote de 20 ml de gel/champú...

Reviewed Apr 28, 2026L’emplacement est parfait, l’accessibilité aussi. La chambre et le salle de bain étaient propres. L’existence d’une petite véranda est sympathique. Le personnel (en ligne) est réactif. Le quartier est très vivant avec de quoi prendre son petit-déjeuner facilement.
L’isolation des chambres est médiocre, de ce fait l’établissement est très bruyant (circulation dans les couloirs et chambres). Il n’y a pas de porte-serviette et aucun équipement dans la salle de bain. La literie n’est pas bonne et elle est bruyante.

Lots of noise from the street below- traffic. Some loud guests at night in the stairway echoes into the room. Would benefit from a small kettle/ tea station.

Reviewed Apr 8, 2026El hotel está en Oporto, a solo 10 minutos del centro, lo que lo hace muy práctico para moverse. Es un edificio antiguo con mucho encanto, muy bonito, y las habitaciones son amplias y están decoradas con gusto. La relación calidad-precio es excelente, de hecho es la segunda vez que nos alojamos aquí porque nos gusta mucho. Además, tanto el check-in como el check-out fueron muy cómodos y sencillos.
Al ser un edificio antiguo, no dispone de ascensor, algo a tener en cuenta (en nuestro caso nos tocó un tercer piso, aunque no tuvimos problema). Por otro lado, los baños podrían mejorar, ya que no hay espacio suficiente para colocar los artículos de aseo, lo que resulta algo incómodo.

Reviewed Oct 5, 2025Lo mejor de este hospedaje es su ubicación. Además la habitación no esta mal por el precio que se paga, todo aparentaba estar limpio, la cama nos resultó cómoda y no sufrimos ruidos de otros huéspedes o del exterior.
Lo bueno de este alojamiento quedó bastante eclipsado por el echo de que la ducha no tenía agua caliente. La primera mañana aún conseguía templarse ligeramente, la segunda ya salía completamente gélida. El baño en general es funcional pero te encuentras con un par de puertas dentro que no se sabe a donde van a parar y que descolocan un poco.

Edificio velho, a necessitar de manutenção. Pisos muito tortos, ate se sentia a cama a descair. A cama fazia imenso barulho, cada vez que alguém se mexe ouve-se. Acordei várias vezes durante a noite com barulhos da cama e dos vizinhos. Ouve-se os passos todos em todo o edifício, barulhos de casa de banho, camas, etc. Só para uma noite ainda passa. Mais era dificil.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2025Near everything, including the bus stop. Supermarkets are walking distance. The room is very clean. Communication is very smooth and they respond right away. Check in and check out is very easy.
I stayed on the ground floor (or 1st floor, rm 103), and I can hear the upstairs person everytime he/she walks. I did not mind at first but he/she started pacing or moving around at 4am-ish which woke me up. 🙊

Next to the main road meant our room was noisy. Bathroom was a little small, and the shower didn’t hook onto the wall meaning showering was difficult.

Letto scomodo, lastre del pavimento posizionate malissimo che scricchiolavano sotto ogni passo così come mentre dormivi, facendoti svegliare per il rumore. Finestre fatiscenti che non si chiudevano bene facendoti sentire non al sicuro essendo affacciata su una tettoia e al 1 piano( quindi di facile accesso a tutti). Puzza di polvere e ragnatele ovunque e una porticina nel bagno che portava in un'altra stanza, chiusa dall'esterno. Zero assistenza,alla mia richiesta di cambio stanza mi è stato detto che ne avevano solo una con la finestra rotta e lettii a castello. Booking mi ha dato 14€ schifosi quando avevo semplicemente una cancellazione gratuita per andare altrove. Nessuno è venuto a rassettare la stanza. Per 70€ a notte non è valsa assolutamente la pena! Meglio un ostello!!!

La chambre avec deux lits on dirait dans une prison Les photos publiées et le lieu n’a rien avoir c’est de l’arnaque on a même pas pu rester et on a envoyé un message au propriétaire pour trouver une solution rien pas de réponse jusqu’à présent
