Emplacement de rêve au bord du lac, calme, belles chambres avec vue sur le lac, bonne literie, propre et vraiment très agréable. Bon petit déjeuner et très bon repas au rooftop restaurant. Je ne comprends pas les avis négatifs, vraiment rien à dire, cet hôtel est très agréable et on s’y sent bien!

The views of the property was great but that’s just about it

The rooms are overpriced for very little they provide, the cheaper rooms are better than the suite. The suite didn’t even have a bar filled properly let alone have actual features of a suite

The two best things about this hotel are (1) the staff were fantastic and helpful. (2) the great location on the lake with gorgeous views.

Only one suggestion for improvement in my case in that being picked up by the hotel, the sign with my name on it was too small for me to see at distance in a crowd of taxi drivers and others. Next time I’ll make sure to book a room with a lake view.

We were disappointed with both the food and the hospitality. We paid ₹4,360 for dinner, but it was not worth the price at all. The same was true for the snacks. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, and we will not be visiting again.

We stayed at Hotel Lakend for three days, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Offering breathtaking lake views, it is easily one of the best hotels in Udaipur. In my opinion, this property is highly underrated and easily stands on par with luxury names like The Leela and Taj. It was worth every penny. The culinary experience across all their restaurants is outstanding—the grilled fish was the best we’ve had. I also highly recommend trying a pizza from the hotel's in-house Pizzeria. A must-visit!

The only area for improvement is the Wi-Fi service, which was a bit slow and lacked high-speed connectivity

A typical 5-star hotel in the local category. Communication via booking.com chat for the airport shuttle was excellent. The hotel is large, and as expected, large events (weddings) take place in the background or in the side wings. The rooftop terrace is lovely in the evening. It offers a truly relaxing atmosphere, especially when you can hardly escape the usual, deafening city noise elsewhere. This is a little oasis. As expected, the breakfast isn't geared towards Europeans, who might have particularly high expectations. But it's perfectly adequate. You just have to be prepared for that. Typical of the local cuisine, and good. The buffet dinner was good; the terrace is inviting. I would have liked and expected more from the overall service and attention, especially regarding waiting times. There's room for improvement. The middle managers should actually get involved and not just be glued to their phones. The spa also made a good impression; the range of services was internationally oriented. Regarding the room, I can't give it a positive overall rating. I found sharp steel nails in the floor/door thresholds, which the maintenance staff hadn't properly removed or even driven in. There was a risk of injury. As a guest, I shouldn't have to complain about something like that. And that sums up the overall criticism: so many managers are running around, but practically none of them are paying attention. This is a flaw that manifests itself in so many details (crooked, uneven, wobbly) that it would make this review far too long. There's definitely room for improvement. The Lakend should address this. I wish them the best of luck! Would I recommend staying there? - Absolutely! It's a really lovely place!

We were returning from a wedding and stayed here for a day with our infant and parents. The location is very beautiful, with a view of Fatehsagar Lake. The rooms are not very big but are comfortable. The staff is very helpful and cordial. All the restaurants offer great food, especially Urban Tadka if you are travelling with family. Apart from all the good things about the hotel, what truly stood out was how the staff took responsibility for everything within the hotel premises. On the morning of the day we were supposed to leave, I realised that my gold chain was missing. I remembered wearing it the previous night during dinner and immediately informed the hotel staff. It was 7 a.m., and we were scheduled to leave at 10:30. Sameer and the entire staff left no stone unturned to find my chain, especially since I hadn’t stepped out of the hotel even for a minute. Thankfully, they found it before we left. I am extremely grateful to everyone involved, as the chain was given to me by my mother and holds great sentimental value. We will never forget our stay here and will definitely come back again.

Horrible experience. Staff does not know how to speak & respond. Rudely declined 10% off on food despite clear mention on booking voucher. No amenity in room on the pretext of Corona even in 2026. Room interiors are completely outdated. Below average breakfast quality. Nothing except view

I stayed at Lakend for 2 nights in March 2026 with 2 friends. We occupied 2 rooms and on our second night, the guests in the room next to us played extremely loud music way past midnight. A call to reception made no difference. This was followed by relentless loud, argumentative and aggressive behaviour, which reception staff told us in the morning, was due to the guests being drunk and unruly. The continuous shouting and raised voices made us feel unsafe and scared. Three further phone calls to reception failed to stop the noise and disruption. We had an early flight the next day and the disappointing fact is that the hotel management or security were unable to control the situation. We felt unsafe and scared and had no sleep that night. On one of my calls around 3 o'clock in the morning, we were asked if we wanted to change rooms. Given that we had to be up 2 hours later, we refused. But as far as the hotel is concerned their response to my complaint is that they did their utmost to help. They repeatedly asked the noisy guests to stop but this was ignored every time. It is disappointing that they had no power to take immediate and appropriate action to cause the least disruption to their other paying guests. Although the hotel itself was in a beautiful setting and our first night was without incident, their failure to take responsibility and act accordingly during the second night gives me no confidence for any future visits. I would therefore not consider staying at this hotel again.

I stayed at Hotel Lake End and had a very pleasant experience. I really liked the place. The staff, especially Taruna, behaved very well and were very polite. I truly enjoyed my stay.

We booked a 2-night stay in an Executive Room (INR 25,231 with breakfast), but the experience was far below expectations and not even at a basic 3-star standard. The room initially allocated to us was poorly maintained. The bathroom was in an unacceptable condition, with visible mould buildup, grime in corners, and clear signs of poor upkeep. This did not appear to be a one-time cleaning issue but rather a lack of proper maintenance. It was completely unacceptable at this price point. After raising the issue at reception, we were offered an alternative room, but it was significantly smaller and we were asked to shift again the next day. This is highly inconvenient and not what one expects during a vacation. We clearly requested either a room of the same category we paid for or a refund of the booking amount so that we could move to another hotel, but this was not addressed. The lack of resolution and accountability is disappointing. We chose this hotel based on its reputation and past experiences, but this stay has been a serious letdown. While the location is excellent, the room quality, hygiene, and maintenance do not justify the pricing. Strongly recommend management addresses basic cleanliness and maintenance standards. Until then, not recommended.

We had a great stay at the hotel. Komal and Kanchan ji warmly welcomed us and showed us to our clean and beautiful lake view room. Special thanks to Himanshi ji for the room upgrade—it made our stay even better. The stay was smooth and hassle-free. The breakfast buffet had plenty of fresh and delicious veg options, and Badal ji’s hot, crisp dosa and uttapam were amazing. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the food!

If you are considering staying at the Lakend Hotel, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. This property claims to be a 4.5-star hotel, but based on the sheer operational incompetence my family and I experienced, it deserves to be stripped down to a 1-star rating. They simply do not know how to run a decent hotel. ​From the moment we arrived, it was glaringly obvious that the staff were entirely unprepared for guests. Basic communication and service are non-existent. We had to call the front desk multiple times just to get something as simple as bottled water delivered to our room. We also had to make repeated requests just to get someone to check if our room fridge was actually working. ​However, the absolute worst part of our stay was the complete fiasco surrounding the pool. We were informed that their pool was out of order, which is disappointing but things happen. They offered to transfer us to a partner hotel to use their pool instead. After breakfast, we told the staff we were ready to go and were explicitly told a transfer cab would be ready in 20 minutes. We came down from our room right on time, only to discover absolutely nothing had been booked. We had to stand around waiting while the staff scrambled to finally call a cab. ​The return trip was an absolute nightmare. We were instructed to call the hotel staff when we finished swimming so they could dispatch a return cab. We called them FIVE times. We ended up waiting for nearly two hours. Every single time we called, the staff just offered empty apologies and falsely promised that the cab was "on the way." ​To add insult to injury, another group that requested a cab after us was picked up first. We were left stranded with my wife and our 4-year-old son, receiving nothing but a phone call telling us yet another cab was coming and to "keep waiting." Leaving a family stranded for hours while prioritizing other guests is beyond poor customer service; it is blatant disrespect. ​Save your money and your peace of mind. Do not stay here.

The restaurants on the property are excellent and offer a great variety of food choices. The golden highlight of the stay was definitely their breakfast. Everything was fresh, delicious, and had so many options to choose from. It’s the perfect way to start your morning. The staff truly make this place special. Everyone is incredibly friendly, helpful, and makes you feel heard and taken care of. A huge shoutout to Sukhmani at the front desk — she was so attentive and kind. We originally wanted a lake view room but it was unavailable when we checked in. She made sure to arrange a lake view room for us the very next day (with upgrade charges) and ensured we got one of the best rooms. Initially, we were considering a few other hotels, but the welcoming nature and behavior of the staff is what made us choose The Lakend — and we are so glad we did. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting!

An excellent hotel with incredible view of the lake Fatehsagar. The staff is professional, courteous and well mannered. The rooms, are spacious, clean and comfortable, especially the lakeside view rooms, which have amazing view of the Lake. The restaurant team, led by Mr Samir, took special care of us. An excellent choice to stay with family and kids.

I asked them to decorate my room long before and nothing was done. There was no message on the cake even when I mentioned. The bathroom was smelly. We paid 20K for one night and the room wasn't spacious at all. The staff took too long to respond. We needed to remind them to give us water multiple times. They didn't clean the room. The staff wasn't that helpful.

The hotel is on the side of a lake. Amazing views! Close to the centre. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. Staff are working tirelessly. We had two breakfasts and an evening meal. Both were so tasty. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

From the courteous staff to perfect location to beautiful lake view which one will be short of words to describe and then to top it up there is very tasty food. We had a dinner one day here, and Suresh ji was very patient in explaining everything and very courteous while serving the food! This is just the perfect place!
