I found this accommodation to be a much needed haven of peace. Lovely spacious accommmodation. Beautiful rural location. Excellent large well equipped kitchen with huge dining area and table. A comfortable sitting room to relax in. And best of all, a respectful hostess who creates a lovely relaxed atmosphere, which is beyond price. There is no great long list of specified rules, just the basic, simple, common sense request to respect the property and keep it clean and in order. She is local to the area, close to hand if needed, and very helpful, always willing to answer any questions about the area. I would happily go back and stay there again, and have no hesitation in recommending it as a top place to stay.

Sehr laut an einer Durchgangsstraße

Sehr unhygienisch, Küche klebrig. Keine regelmäßige Reinigung. Offensichtlich fühlte sich die Vermieterin nicht zu regelmäßiger Reinigung, z.B. der Küche, Badezimmer verpflichtet und überließ es den Gästen für Sauberkeit zu sorgen. Demzufolge alles ziemlich dreckig und eklig. Möbel, Betten, Bettwäsche, Handtücher und Zimmer rochen abgestanden und muffig, z.T. ziemlich abgenutzt und in die Jahre gekommen. Vermutlich nicht regelmäßig geheizt und gelüftet oder Hunde in den Zimmern erlaubt? In dem Hostel gab es offensichtlich auch Dauerbewohner und es lagen überall private Dinge herum, von denen man nicht wusste, ob sie einen Besitzer haben oder entsorgt werden können.

Well appointed. Simple and tasteful.

Wir konnten die Unterkunft sehr spontan noch buchen. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Es gab eine Küche mit allem was man braucht und einen Aufenthaltsraum mit Spiele, usw.

Man muss es mögen mit anderen Menschen das Bad mit Dusche und Toilette zu teilen. Zu unserem Zeitpunkt waren noch 3 andere Familien/Pärchen dort. Leider waren die Teenager im Nebenzimmer nicht so leise zur Schlafenszeit. Auch die Dusche ist natürlich irgendwann mal verdreckt, wenn diese am Abend ca. 5 Leute benutzen. Jedoch muss man erwähnen, dass es 2 Bäder gibt.

La maison est nickel et très bien équipée avec une excellente literie.

C'est au bord de la route sans vue sur le paysage des plages et des dunes voisines mais le prix va avec.

We`ve spent two nights in the Finner house and absolutely loved it! Our room was spacious and cosy and had a wonderful view of the Irish countryside and we could also see our hosts`s Jacqueline`s donkeys which was extra fun! The kitchen in the house is for every guest to use and has everything you need to cook and a coffee machine. Our host was super friendly and welcoming and we`ve had a few nice talks. There is a wonderful common area in the house where you can watch a movie or play board games. There are many parking spots in front of the house.

The only problem I had was I didn't realise that each quest had to wait til another quest had finished cooking their food before I could cook my own, think in the future it could be made clear that guests can cook for themselves as long as they bring own food including ingredients. Bar that it was brilliant 👏 👌 I have recommended finner house to my friends and family as they had lots of children games for rainy days 😀

No issues, I would recommend having a car

The kitchen was well equipped. The house was renovated and the bedroom was clean. And best of all, the host was very kind. She cares about the guests and I don't think you will regret to Stay there. I recommend it to any guest. If I be back to the area I’ll definitely book this house again.

Overall I am very satisfied honestly. If I had to say one thing to improve it even better, I would be happy with the water pressure in the shower and the drainage of the shower room.

There is no roadside signage so we weren’t able to find it easily. We didn’t know where the towels were. We didn’t want to go through the place looking for them.

I liked the warm welcome from the host. The house was very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. The lounge was cosy. . The bed was comfy and the bedding good quality.

Cleanliness of house was very good, and kitchen had tea and coffee. Also, it was good to be met on arrival by nice owner.

Little sachets/ packets of milk ( eg Lakelands) would be convenient for arrival after long journey, in case you arrive without your own milk for the tea or coffee.

Finner House has very modern decor, very clean and tidy with friendly staff. It's close to areas of natural beauty such as Benbulbin and places of historical significance as well.

Most comfortable bed and linens of any Airbnb I've ever stayed at. 5star level of comfort. Great location and kitchen facilities were excellent. The nicest people running the property.

Get there before dark, or it can be hard to find, but it's right on the road once you find it. Easy access.
