Riad Lahbiba

De eigenaar was zeer vriendelijk en toegankelijk. De kamer was klein maar er was een grote living waar we (gedeeld) gebruik van konden maken. Het ontbijt was super lekker en heel veel. Het verblijf ligt een half uurtje wandelen van de medina.

Het was uit de beschrijving niet duidelijk dat dit verblijf gelegen was in een afgesloten grote community (een klein dorp als het ware). Je moest jezelf identificeren als je binnen reed (dat was niet moeilijk). Het zwembad was een zwembad voor iedereen in deze gemeenschap (en niet enkel van het verblijf) en dat blijkt ook niet duidelijk uit de omschrijving. Het was ook enkel open tussen 10.00 en 18.00 dus even zwemmen voor of na de uitstap naar de medina kon niet.

We had an amazing stay at this riad! What really made the difference was Hachim’s incredible hospitality. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel like we were staying with friends. He welcomed us into his world and gave us the chance to experience the real local culture, traditions, and way of life. All of his staff were also incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious, with every meal full of authentic flavors. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep and want a genuine Moroccan experience, this is the perfect place. We would definitely come back! ♥️

Hachim was an exceptional host and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived! Always welcoming, helpful, and attentive, which made our experience even more enjoyable! The riad is beautiful, very clean, and offers excellent value for money. The location is also great! Situated in a private area and only about a 15-minute walk from the Medina, making it easy to explore Marrakech while enjoying a quieter atmosphere. The room is simple but comfortable and has everything needed for a pleasant stay.

Nothing to complain about! The room could be improved with an additional bedside table and a few hooks in the bathroom to hang towels, but these are only minor suggestions.

Merveilleux petit déjeuner, un hôte présent et à l'écoute. Les repas du soir si vous les prenez sont vraiment délicieux. Bref, un accueil chaleureux et authentique à la Marocaine :-)

ホストがとても親切です。ツブカル山ツアーをガイドにドタキャンされた時も、色々相談に乗って下さいました。 リアド全体が美しく、部屋の装飾も可愛らしかったです。1階のリビングとキッチンが広く共用で利用できます。冷蔵庫やコーヒーメーカー、ホットサンド機、鍋、食器など一通り揃っています。 フナ広場までは歩くと遠いですが、リアドがある地区は入り口にセキュリティーチェックがある小さな街のような構造で、すぐ近くにレストランや商店・ツアー会社・銀行・プールなどがあり便利です。

ダブルルームは部屋が狭く、スーツケースの人は荷物が広げられません。

We had a great stay at this riad. The location is very convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the medina, and the place itself is very clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. We especially loved the terrace, a perfect spot to relax. What really stood out was Hachim, the owner a very kind and welcoming person who made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended, and we would definitely come back!

The only minor thing was that our room didn’t have a window to the outside, but all the other rooms do have windows and are all very comfortable. Hachim even offered us to change the room on the second night to have one with a window.

It was very nice, the owner and staff were amazing and very hospitable. All round very pleasant experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay.

Самая прекрасная вещь , что можно было сделать в Мараккеше -это остановиться здесь ! Ты за стенами Медины в охраняемой зоне , с собственной парковкой, магазинами, ресторанами, а чтобы попасть в Медину – нужно просто перейти через дорогу, и ты окунёшься в суету этого места. Номер небольшой, все чисто, есть дополнительные пледы, просторная ванная комната. Отдельное спасибо хозяину за невероятно вкусные завтраки. Нам безумно понравилось в этом отеле

À deux pas de la médina, la chambre était dans une petite oasis de calme bienvenu après une journée à Marrakech! La piscine était top et surtout l’accueil d’Hachim mémorable, toujours aux petits soins pour nous.

El personal muy amable, dispuesto y atento a nuestras necesidades y que estuviésemos a gusto.. Tuvimos un Riad para nosotros, precioso y equipado. En las habitaciones tal vez faltarían perchas, dos mesitas de noche con lamparita....son cosas pequeñas pero que hacen la estancia más confortable. Como también poner gel y champú. Sí que había secador. Y el resto del Riad estupendo de decorado y equipado. El desayuno muy completo y el trato cercano y te hacen sentir a gusto. Es recomendable. La zona residencial es muy acogedora y me gustó mucho.

Tout était parfait : le lieu est magnifique, très propre et chaleureux. Dans une résidence avec restaurants, superettes, pharmacie, coiffeur… 3 grandes piscines avec transats. A 20 min à pied de la place Jemaa El fna. Un immense merci à Hicham pour son accueil exceptionnel et sa gentillesse tout au long du séjour. Il nous a offert le petit déjeuner ainsi qu’un délicieux repas préparé par sa maman, un vrai moment authentique et plein de générosité. La cuisine était excellente ! Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Je recommande ce riad les yeux fermés !

The host was really kind and was quick to respond to messages. The surroundings were clean and quiet. Free water was provided.

The AC in the room looked really dirty, wasn't cleaned in years. The host smoked inside the house. The bathroom was smelly. The towel was stained. The room was on the smaller side with limited storage space and electrical outlets. The WiFi was terribly slow.

We had a wonderful stay! The riad is beautifully decorated with authentic Moroccan charm and a great atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive—we’d definitely return.

Our stay at Riad Lahbiba was fantastic. Hachim, the owner, went above and beyond to help us and make us feel comfortable. We booked 14 nights and even left our belongings there while we visited other parts of Morocco—it felt very safe and secure. The location is also great, just a 10-minute walk to the Medina. The breakfast was great, and we also had dinner one night—the homemade couscous was superb. Thank you, Hachim, for our incredible stay. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a riad to stay in.

Boravak je bio vrlo lep. Domacin je izizetan, vrlo pazljiv i predusretljiv, mnogo je pomogo u svemu. Bilo je cisto i uredno. Peskire su nam promenili. Imali smo flasiranu vodu kad smo stigli. Potrebno je da imate ili vodiča ili dobrog domacina. Opis je adekvatan. Lokacija je odlicna, bezbedna i u kompleksu postoje marketi i restorani Bazen koristi ceo kompleks. 2 sobe imaju svoje kupatilo. Objekat sadrzi sve iz opisa. Potpuno smo zadovoljni

Riad situé dans un Complexe sécurisé avec des restaurants, 3 piscines, une pharmacie à 2mn de la médina et à 20mn de la place jelma afna si on ne se perd pas dans les ruelles. Ackim, le propriétaire est très attentif au confort et prépare des repas très copieux. Il est aux petits soins avec les hébergés.

Petit rafraîchissement à faire dans les chambres, toilettes branlantes, pas de support pour mettre les draps de bain.

Dans la salle commune il pourrait y avoir un peu plus de facilité de cuisine , torchons et éponge , il est très pratique de pouvoir cuisiner un peu le soir quand on rentre fatigué.

Location was excellent, few minutes walk to the Medina and in an enclosed community. Our host, Hachim could not have been more accommodating or helpful. The breakfast (7£ p/p) was really spectacular. We also had dinner one evening (couscous - 15£ p/p) and it was delicious and plentiful. Hachim helped me by providing a contact for airport transfer. Would highly recommend this Riad

Der Besitzer ist sehr sehr lieb und aufmerksam. Er ist immer anwesend und kann einem gute Tipps geben und macht für 7€ gutes Frühstück. (All you can eat) Die Zimmer waren normal und man hat sein eigenes Bad.

La hospitalidad de Hachim, recibiendo a cada uno de los huéspedes como si fuera su propio hogar y promoviendo la interaccion entre nosotros. También nos encantó el Riad. Poder dormir en una casa genuina marroquí. Y la terraza, con sus vistas a la muralla de la Medina y a las impresionantes montañas del Atlas.

Todo nos gustó. Como sugerencia, poner un colgador para toallas.

Wunderschönes Riad nahe der Altstadt Marrakeschs. Es befindet sich etwas außerhalb des Zentrums in dem ruhigen und überwachten Bezirk "Qarya Syahia", wo sich auch andere Unterkünfte, Restaurants, Supermärkte und eine Moschee befinden. Ich hatte ein wunderbares Zimmer mit integriertem Bad, alles was sehr sauber und ansprechend. Es gab viele Handtücher, mehrere Zudecken und eine kleine Standheizung (im Januar wurde es abends recht kühl), die das Zimmer ordentlich erwärmte. Dass am Abend meiner Ankunft eine große Wasserflasche im Zimmer auf mich wartete, war eine sehr willkommene Geste. Der Besitzer ist sehr herzlich und gastfreundlich, ich wurde kurz nach meiner Ankunft auch gleich auf ein kleines Abendessen und Tee eingeladen. Auf Nachrichten antwortete er stets sehr schnell. Das Zentrum der Stadt erreicht man zu Fuß in etwa 20 Gehminuten, zudem warten vor dem Tor des Bezirks viele Taxis. Das Riad verfügt über eine tolle Dachterrasse. Es bietet die Möglichkeit, ein reichhaltiges und leckeres Frühstück zu bestellen, sowie andere Mahlzeiten, wenn gewünscht. Es war ein super Aufenthalt! Merci beaucoup!

In einem Touristenkomplex, wo man alles Notwendige findet, nahe der Altstadt gelegen. Sehr freundlicher und bemühter Besitzer. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste und die Haustüre war immer offen.

The riad was in secure area which makes you feel safe. The owner was always available and asked if we needed anything.

We had the family room and our bathroom was outside which was not convenient.

A szállás a Medina falain kívül van. Kb 20 perces sétával közelíthető meg a központ. Az út elég kihalt este, nincs világítás érdemes taxival, vagy tuk-tukkal menni. Jó étterem nincs a közelben, csak pár közepes, illetve gyenge. A medence jó, tiszta, sajnos korán bezár és későn nyit. A reggeli friss, rengeteg, tipikus marokkói reggeli. A házigazda nagyon kedves.

A fürdőszoba és a szoba is régi. A fürdőszoba sürgős elújítasra szorul. Szellőztetni nem lehet a szobát.

Achim ist ein toller Gastgeber. Das Riad ist sehr schön, Parken kann man auf der Straße davor. Es gibt ein super gutes Frühstück. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Ami később derült ki h mennyire jó volt, hogy közel voltam a Riad egyik kapujához. Amit előtte nem tudtam, a Riad/ sok kis szállás egy helyen/ város a városban. Biztonságos, van picike üzlet, éttermek, tartozik hozzá úszómedencével rész is. Egyedül nőként is biztonságban sétálhattam bármikor. Örülök, h ide jöttem. A tulajdonos kedvessége, segítőkészsége is csak támogatta itt tartózkodásomat. Ár-érték arányban is megérte.

Siamo stati accolti in una maniera eccezionale, Hackim e il suo staff ti fanno sentire a casa sin dal primo momento (mi ha dato indicazioni anche prima di partire dall’Italia considerando che arrivavamo tardi) , accogliendoti con un calore pazzesco…(hanno aiutato anche i miei amici a prepararmi la sorpresa di far arrivare la torta per il mio compleanno). Colazioni e cene top, migliori di qualsiasi posto in zona. Le camere complete di qualsiasi cosa… da considerare che si e’ in un RIAD. Non avrei potuto scegliere di meglio per il nostro soggiorno a Marrakesh e se dovessi tornarci, tornerei da lui. Posizione eccellente a circa 30min (a piedi) dal centro città … i taxi costano pochissimo.

We liked that it was a quiet haven outside the noisy Medina. The host was very helpful and friendly and gave us a wonderful welcome. Breakfast was fabulous!

Hachim házigazda nagyon finom marokkói reggelivel vàrt minket. Utolsó előtti napon pedig nagyon finom ebédet kèszìtettek nekünk. Az egèsz család nagyon kedves ès figyelmes volt. A hàzvezetőnő pedig minden reggel finom reggelit készített számunkra. Nagyon köszönünk mindent az egèsz családnak.

It's a nice place, quite close to the entrance of the medina. It is in a sort of gated community with security. The guards were also nice and gave us directions to the riad. The riad is very nice and the owner was welcomed us on the street and offert us tea. The room was nice and clean and it is has a rooftopterras. There is a shared pool, which we unfortunately didn't get the chance to use. It is 20 minutes walking to the centre of the Medina. The owner gave us tips for Marrakesh and our next stop. We could alsk do some laundry for free! And he offered a free breakfast on the last day. Very good value for money.!

We booked this riad specifically for the parking on site, since we are here with our own campervan. When we came to the gate, we weren't allowed in. We had to park on the street, which we really didn't want. It was close to the guards, but still. Also the shower was hand held, which was a bit clumsy, but the water was good. In the main area there is a smell of smoke.

Everything about the place

I personally really liked the location - booking.com shows it inside the Medina but it is actually just outside of the Medina so it was quieter and in a safe gated neighborhood (and it also had a pool!). It’s also not too busy bc there are only three guest rooms. It takes 30 mins to walk to the main square in the Medina, which is fine by me because I love to walk. But the best part of staying here was Hachim’s hospitality. I am a solo female traveler and he looked out for me/made sure I came home safely each night. He was also very helpful answering my questions and even got breakfast ready for me early one day (before they normally serve breakfast) bc I had an early departure. The women who work at Hachim’s Riad were also lovely (altho I couldn’t communicate with them due to language barrier). If I come back to Marrakech I will stay here again! (And actually I did already return to Marrakech on my Morocco trip and re-booked with Hachim :)

The host is super friendly. The accommodation has a good location, close to medina.

Beautiful house, very personal, the host was so kind and helpfull. The food was also nice:) Pools were around the corner and nice to relax after a busy day in the medina. You could park the car outside (it is a private property so it was safe for a rental car).

Hachim is an excellent host, and so are the ladies, that work with him. Everything was done to make us feel very welcome. The atmosphere is easygoing, breakfast was great and very much, fresh fruit, water, coffee and mint tea always available.

The host was very hospitable and accommodating, even regarding the transfer method of payment when I was low on cash. We had a spontaneous free superb local breakfast.

Lovely introduction to Marrakech, the host Idris was more than helpful, he showed me all the places to go (and not to go), he was always there if I needed any help. The breakfast was lovely too, a hearty Moroccan breakfast. Facilities were good too, all my clothes were washed and dried within the same day. The rooftop was beautiful to relax on when the sun went down. Location is great too, you feel safe and you're next to the main city walls if you need to go into the chaos.

I don't really have a bad word to say, the staff really made me feel at home.

The family made me feel so welcome in their home, and I loved the change from a hotel.

If I could rate this stay higher than a 10 I would! Our host was amazing and so kind, honestly felt like we were part of the family. Lovely riad and an ideal location just a stones throw outside of the medina. There's even a woman on site who takes care of the cats if they are sick, we found a tiny kitten who didn't look well and wouldn't eat so we told one of the shop staff and he went and got her and she gave the cat medications and took it in for a few nights to look after it. Our host and his mother were so accommodating and kind and gave us lots of recommendations on where was best to go and the best prices and quality. The swimming pool was lovely too and the tourist village altogether is a really nice environment away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. There's a lovely roof terrace and the home itself is beautiful and covered in amazing artwork made by the hosts sister.

Best welcome ever! Hachim and his mother offered us drinks and then they gave us “tapas” (olives, bread, sausage, kefta balls). On our last night, they asked us if we would like to take pictures in their traditional moroccan outfits which was a super memorable moment and super nice from them to offer that! Thank you so much for everything!! The property is in a secured gated community with 3 outdoor pools. There are restaurants, convenience stores and travel agencies on site. It is not in the craziness of the medina but right next to it. I highly recommend this place.

Nothing. The only little thing I could point out is about the description of the rooms. It is for the entire house so the size and number of beds are not right; there’s one bedroom with 2 single beds and a private bathroom and one room with a double bed and private bathroom.

Our stay was wonderful. The family was really nice and we had a good time and during Ramadan they also offered us to eat with them. It feels like a home and the woman treats us like her children. It was a really memorable experience. The room was neat and clean. All facilities are there. The rooftop was amazing, with a good view. The area is very secure and safe. There are many shops and restaurants with reasonable prices. We will definitely stay again if we come back to Marrakech.

The adress is not clear. Bathroom shower was uncomfortable, the bed was not made when we arrive.

Our Host was really nice and offert us food an drinks whenever we saw him, typical moroccan hospitality. He helped us with a lot of information about taxis and getting around.

We expected somthing more like a guesthouse or a hotel, this is more a homestay where you have a room in a privat house where the host is living. There where still a lot of privat things in the room and our host was smoking in the house and we did not really like that smell in our bedroom.

It’s spacious and in a safe location. The pool was relaxing. The owner was super helpful and friendly.

It’s a little far from the centre.
