Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Buntera Homestay. La chambre est impeccable et décorée avec des fleurs à notre arrivée. Elle donne sur un jardin paisible dont nous avons pu profiter en prenant notre petit déjeuner sur la terrasse. L’emplacement est idéal pour aller visiter les rizières à pied. Le personnel est adorable !

Wspaniali, życzliwi właściciele. Pokój wystarczająco duży z bardzo wygodnym łóżkiem. Miłym akcentem było przystrojenie kwiatami. Czekały na nas również owoce. Pyszne śniadanie. Czystość na medal. To miejsce jest bardzo przytulne. Od razu poczuliśmy się tu świetnie.

Location was in a quiet neighbourhood but still near the center. Nengah was really friendly and helped us with information about Sidemen, delicious breakfast and a scooter. The stay was also really clean. We came here for a pitstop for two days and enjoy some quiet and got what we came for. The amount of days were also enough.

Nothing negative just some things to bear in mind. At night there is typical village nature sounds of birds and crickets. Didn’t bother us but maybe good to note. The sounds of a family neighbouring the say was faint hearable. Although there is some noise from kids, it was limited and didn’t bother the stay. They arrange a scooter till your stay but note there is no insurance and the meter doesn’t work. But normally a full tank is more than plenty.

The hosts are lovely and helpful. The property was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable.

This was a lovely stay. ! I would highly recommend this place. The host was amazing. The breakfast was really delicious and fresh. It was one of the only places that had good water to drink and no plastic bottles. Actually, it was the best water on our Bali trip. Also, it is in a great location for walking around Sideman and close to massage places and shops but still quiet and peaceful. I would book again.:)

A huge thanks to Nana and Komang for the delicious breakfast—the best we had in Bali—for the wonderful trekking advice, and best of all, for their incredible kindness! It's not mentioned in the description, but there is also Wi-Fi. Highly recommended!

En couple, nous avons passé un très agréable séjour de 2 nuits dans cet hébergement de 2 chambres, au cadre magnifique. Notre chambre était très confortable, spacieuse et donnant sur un jardin apaisant. L'hôtesse qui nous a accueillis et son mari avec lequel nous communiquions par what'apps ont été adorables, charmants, aux petits soins et très réactifs à nos demandes. Une belle rencontre avec des échanges passionnants. Il était possible de réserver des visites et activités ; nous avons participé à 2 ateliers (cuisine balinaise et silver class), de très bons moments. Les petits déjeuners étaient délicieux. Merci pour tout !

Wir hatten einen so schönen Aufenthalt im Buntera Homestay, einfach alles hat gestimmt. Die Besitzer sind unglaublich lieb und zuvorkommend und bieten tolle Touren an. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und wunderschön. Das Frühstück auf der ruhigen Terrasse mit Blick in den Garten war unser Highlight. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Es ist etwas hellhörig, hat uns aber wenig gestört.

Buntera Homestay is perfect and the best Homestay I’ve had in Bali. The couple who ran the Homestay were incredibly kind, attentive and we were made to feel really at home. The facilities are exceptional and you have everything you need; drinking water, a large bed, daily cleans. The location is ideal as it is right in the heart of Sidemen and the actual Homestay is beautifully situated in front of a lush green garden. Overall, we felt really taken care of and are very glad we chose to stay here. Would recommend and would definitely come back!

I had an amazing stay here! The location is great, the room was beautiful, and the bed was incredibly big and comfortable. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The staff were some of the kindest people I’ve met in bali, helpful, and happy to assist with anything. I also joined the cooking workshop, which was so much fun and a great experience. The breakfast was absolutely delicious every morning. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back!

One of the best stays we had during our whole trip in South-East Asia! The couple who runs the place are the most kind-hearted people. Dear Nengah and Komang, thank you for making our stay in Bali unforgettable. Nengah cooked the most amazing breakfast for us and Komang took us on a marvellous tour through Sidemen where we explored the jungle, the ricefields and the countryside by foot. I definitely recommend booking his „secret sidemen tour“!! The rooms are lovely and clean and the garden in front is so beautiful.

Such an amazing accommodation! Great location and amazing hosts. The owners are so warm and friendly! The guesthouse is in a great location, only a 10 minute walk from the town. The guesthouse was kept in immaculate condition, with the owners personally cleaning the room everyday. I had no issues at all with the cleanliness of the room, it exceeded all my expectations. AC was working and the windows had a mesh to keep mosquitoes from entering the room, which was a great bonus. The front of the room is beautiful with the great lush green garden which is well kept. The hosts provided great recommendations for places to visit during my stay and even drove me to places, which was much appreciated. The included breakfast was great, with Nengah making some great pancakes with fresh fruit. Overall, it was such a great experience and I felt very welcome here. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a hospitable accommodation in Sidemen.

Chambre spacieuse, propre et lit très confortable. Petite terrasse très agréable où on prend le petit-déjeuner. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et prêts à rendre service. La maison est dans une rue très calme à proximité du centre du village et à distance de marche des balades dans les rizières. Beaucoup de petits restaurants à proximité.

Le chant du coq se laisse entendre tôt le matin. Pensez à emporter des bouchons d'oreilles si besoin. Mais c'est un détail car c'était vraiment parfait.

The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The location was convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Having a host who was also a driver was a real bonus, making things much easier, and the helpful local recommendations were a nice touch. They were also very accommodating and understanding of our dietary requirements.

We had an amazing time here! The room was very clean, cozy, and in a perfect location with many cafés and restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful nature and lots of activities nearby. The hosts are such a lovely family, always kind, welcoming, and very quick to help whenever needed. We felt very comfortable and would definitely come back. Highly recommended! ✨

Le logement est très bien entretenu, très propre, Nengah et Komang sont des personnes formidables, ils nous ont préparé un scooter à l’avance, nous ont donné de bonnes recommandations pour les activités aux alentours de sidemen et nous ont aussi déposés à notre destination suivante. Je vous recommande cet endroit pour une immersion totale dans la vie locale.

We liked everything! The place is private and quiet. The owner picked up us himself in the Padang Bai and we had a ride with him for the whole next day for our desired destinations. Family owners are charming and very attentive. We had a nice suggestion for the dinner and for the self walk locations. The breakfast from the hosts was also great. Thank you! 🙏🏻

The property is like a little retreat, it’s so wholesome, such nice rooms & the breakfast was lovely with different options. The owners (husband & wife) were so friendly and even went above and beyond enough to go to the pharmacy for us when we were in need.

Buntera Homestay is uniquely located with its own private garden & perfect serenity. Nengah is an absolute gem, both kind & funny, always ready to smile. A couple of tips: 1) there is no pool but ten minutes away down a local pathway is Nana’s Pool & Bar where for the price of a bintang you can plunge into a scenic infinity pool 2) hands down the best & cheapest sunset spot is Giri Cirik, just 15 minutes away with gob smacking views of Mt Agung!

Un énorme coup de cœur pour le logement Buntera 🤍 Des hôtes incroyablement gentils, accueillants et toujours aux petits soins… on s’est sentis comme à la maison dès notre arrivée. Un petit déjeuner tout fait maison 🥹 La propreté était juste irréprochable, tout était parfaitement entretenu, c’était vraiment impressionnant ! Un endroit où l’on se sent bien, que l’on recommande les yeux fermés ✨

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Buntera Homestay! La chambre est très jolie et bien équipée, entourée de verdure, au calme et à proximité de warung! Nous avons été invité à une cérémonie au temple par nos hôtes d’une gentillesse infinie,un super souvenir! Notre hôte nous a également conduit au temple Besakih et à Amed, et nous avons pu échanger durant le trajet, très agréable! Les petits déjeuners étaient délicieux et nous avons reçu beaucoup de conseils et d’attention durant notre séjour! On reviendra dans ce logement si on repasse à Sidemen!!!

Hosts are really great, friendly and helpful, you can be sure they make you feel welcome and like home. Room was clean and nice, comfy beds, good breakfast. Location is good and peaceful, away from busy streets and traffic, yet close to everything. Some local people live right next door, which is nice. I really enjoyed my stay here!

Komamg and Nengah went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and comfortable. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, and the attention to detail was wonderful. They bring a lovely breakfast to your room in the morning so you can eat it in the lovely garden, clean daily, and can help organize or run tours, activities, and transfer. Both are super personable, speak great English, and lovely to chat with! They also made me feel so looked after and kept checking in on me to make sure I was okay after I’d injured my foot when I was out walking. Do yourself a favor and stay here, you won’t regret it!

Lovely accommodation, 2 rooms set in lovely gardens which suited my cousin and I perfectly. Beautiful rooms, with 4 post bed and mostiquto net. Veranda with table and chairs. Rooms made up each day, breakfast brought to veranda at a time that suits you. Lovely friendly owners, komang is a driver and took us on a day tour which was interesting and great. Very welcoming and friendly. Easy access to massage places, wood carving shop and restaurants.

C'est le meilleur homestay où j'ai séjourné. On sent que les propriétaires bichonnent leur bien et c'est pour ça que nous bénéficions de la qualité du service et du lieu. Tout ce que l'on ne trouve pas dans les autres homestays, vous l'avez chez Bundera. A recommander sans modération.

Le seul reproche serait l'absence de parking pour un ou deux scooters. Mais c'est ainsi, il n'y a pas la place pour ça.

Buntera Homestay is in a great location, within easy walking distance of the rice paddy walks and restaurants and warungs. The room has air conditioning and a fridge, and is a good size and with a nice balcony. A nice breakfast is included. The cleanliness really is exceptional. Next time we are in Sidemen we will stay here again.

Tutto meravigliosamente perfetto. Impeccabile pulizia , asciugamani e lenzuola fresche di bucato . Colazione deliziosa a scelta immersa in uno splendido giardino rilassante. Naha è una padrona di casa molto gentile e premurosa . Il marito Komang è venuto a prenderci direttamente a Ubud , usate loro per il trasporto taxi ,no Grab o altri . L’endroit est magnifique, paisible et parfaitement entretenu. La famille qui gère ce lieu est d’une gentillesse remarquable, toujours attentionnée et discrète. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent, avec de vrais jus de fruits frais. Eau à disposition. Tout était absolument parfait. Nous recommandons ce logement sans la moindre hésitation.

Super schöne Unterkunft mit toller Vegetation vor der Terrasse. Die Unterkunft war super sauber, Bettwäsche wurde sogar täglich gewechselt. Das Frühstück war super toll- schöne Auswahl und reichhaltig. Die Besitzer sind unheimlich liebe Menschen, die alles tun um den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Die Besitzerin hat mir sogar einen Sarong ausgeliehen um an einer Zeremonie teilnehmen zu können. Klasse Unterkunft zu einem super Preis

This place is an absolute gem! It is so, so clean, comfortable and cosy. Cleanliness is such a huge must for me and the room was cleaned to a great standard. The Balinese family who run it are so kind and sweet. It feels very authentic to Bali. You can tell they’ve taken such care in their business and thought of all the small details to make their guests comfortable. Staying here you’re also supporting a local family business which I think is so important. The garden is beautiful, we loved being able to spot different butterflies. They also gave us some traditional Balinese cakes on our last day which was so kind. Next time we are in Sideman, we’d love to come back and stay. I highly, highly recommend booking your accommodation here if you are visiting the area.

The Buntera Homestay is a beautiful place to stay. There are only two rooms, and they're set within a lush environment. The owners/hosts are fantastic and bent over backwards to ensure we were comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, with fantastic and included a generously proportioned fruit salad.

I couldn't fault this homestay. The rooms are clean and well maintained, plus inwithin a decent proximity to the township.

De homestay was een oase van rust met een mooi uitzicht op de tuin. Het ontbijt was lekker en de kamer en badkamer waren ontzettend schoon. Maar bovenal waren de hosts super aardig. Wij hebben heel erg genoten van hun gastvrijheid. Ik raad iedereen aan om hier te verblijven.

Honestly one of our best stays in 2 months travelling. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The garden is beautiful. The owners are a local married couple, the wife welcomed us with a beautiful smile, was always laughing, giving us good vibe. The husband helped us to get transfer from the harbour, gave us a tour, helped in any of our issues. The breakfast was delicious. It was the best choice to book this place. We loved Sidemen as well, we were sad to leave.

We had the best experience at Buntera Homestay. Location is perfect, in the center of Sidemen village. Great communication with the lovely owners, they served nice breakfast and arranged scooter rental for us.

The room was very, clean, comfortable and located in a quiet location at the back of the family home. Komang and his wife were very welcoming and full of helpful ideas and advice. I was made to feel at home and welcome to do as much or as little as I wanted to do. I really enjoyed riding the scooter they organised for me. The 2 rooms are located at the back of their house, surrounded by a small garden and are very peaceful. There are plenty of restaurants and local Warung’s nearby with all the money going to local families. The location has a real village / community feel, but there many places to visit nearby.

Buntera homestay is truly ine of the best homestays I've been in on my 2 month trip through Indonesia. What an awesome, kind and sweet family! They really make you feel at home. The room was so new and neat and it was made that it was tidied up every day! I was met with Nenga's kind smile and welcome. She told me about things to do nearby ander youngest daughter (such a delight! Always singing, talking and happy!) offered me Mangosteen fruit! I did a tour "Siddemen tour" with her husband Komang. Also a very kind man! I've told them both I'm half Indonesian, that I really wanted to know more about the culture and wanted to learn Bahasa Indonesia. On the tour Komang taught me some more Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Bali. We went to the beautiful sawa's, the water fall (where I could explore for some time for myself), then to the Arak (local liquor) factory where I tried a little myself. Once there Komang explained how the house of the owner was build and why it was build that way. We spoke more about the culture and I was so curious and Komang could explain everything perfectly to me, I truly learned so much! After that we went to a weaving factory and then back to the home stay. I told Komang that I wanted to do a wood-workshop and he said his family owned one so I could do that with them if I wanted. The next day I did just that together with a silverworkshop that was also from an uncle. Everyone in this family was genuinely so kind, humble and eager to teach me anything. Une jolie petite chambre bien équipée au milieu d’un superbe jardin paisible bien entretenu. Le logement est propre, le linge sent bon, les petits fruits du jardin sont offerts.... Nous sommes accueillis avec bienveillance et une gentillesse incomparable. Le seul but des hôtes est de nous rendre la vie facile. Un vrai moment de calme et de paix. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und haben uns ein tolles Restaurant mit balinesischem Essen empfohlen. Sie waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns einen guide organisiert und die Weiterfahrt zur nächsten Destination. Das Zimmer ist sehr neu und unglaublich sauber! Das Frühstück haben wir morgens auf der Terrasse gegessen. 100% empfehlenswert.

The bedroom and bathroom were immaculate! Super clean, well decorated, lovely bathroom, great shower, good mosquito net around the bed. I loved being able to eat breakfast on the terrace. The location is quiet but close to everything. A short walk down an alleyway takes you to an area with restaurants and spas, silver classes etc. The hosts are a lovely couple who go out of their way to make sure you are happy.

I only booked 2 nights. There is lots to do in this beautiful and peaceful area of Bali so I needed more time!

UN PETIT COIN DE PARADIS l'hôte est d'une gentillesse incroyable, elle est là pour partager, conseiller et échanger. Elle nous a même prêté des sarong pour assister à la fête local (danse et accéder au temple). La chambre est juste impeccable rien à redire (propreté, fruit à l'arrivée, thé, eau minéral à disposition, très beau jardin = juste parfait !). Nous avons pris ailleurs des logements dits "3 étoiles" qui n'arrivaient pas à la cheville de celui ci !! Nous avons regretté de n'avoir pris qu'une nuit .... mais nous avons pu profiter du jour du départ en leur laissant nos bagages pour la journée. Vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés !

Alojamiento precioso, muy tranquilo, limpio y los anfitriones muy atentos en todo momento. El desayuno te lo ponen a la hora que tú elijas y está buenísimo y muy completo. Sin dudarlo volveríamos a alojarnos en este mismo sitio.

This accommodation is a real gem. Run by a local beautiful family, we enjoyed our 2 night stay here very much. There are a lot of warungs around. The room is extra clean and comfortable with a very spacious shower area. It even has an AC if you need that. The homemade breakfast with eggs, fruits and toast was very tasty and fulfilling. Recommended!
