Emplacement proche de la station de bus et de la gare. Il y a une petite cuisine avec micro onde.

Es gab einen Fahrstuhl, was erleichternd ist, wenn man im 6. Stck. wohnt und Koffer dabei hat. Da die Rezeption nicht besetzt war, wurden Fragen umgehend über die Nachrichtenfunktion beantwortet und der Ansprechpartner kam aus dem Nachbargebäude. In 5 min zu Fuß war man am Fluss, dessen Laufweg wirklich schön ist. Auch Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren schnell erreicht.

Das Hotel war insgesamt sehr schmutzig. In einer Gemeinschaftsküche lag tagelang benutzte Bettwäsche und dreckiges Geschirr. Im Zimmer gab es eine riesige Kakalake und der Flur wurde durch eine Fachkraft im Schutzanzug mit Pestiziden benebelt. Frische Handtücher und Toilettenpapier erhielten wir nur auf Nachfrage am 3. von 5 Tagen. Es schien, als ob das Hotel nur noch von wenigen Touristen gebucht wurde. Es wirkte "ausgestorben". Vielleicht lag es am Sommer?

We didn’t see the staff much in person, but they were incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we reached out, especially when we had a few little issues during our stay. They always reacted quickly and did their best to help. Thank you for the great hospitality! 😊

We had to ask for water bottles each day as there wasn’t a water dispenser available, but they were always happy to provide them ! A few things could be improved: there was no washing machine, and the balcony was not very well maintained, so unfortunately we couldn’t really enjoy it.

아랫장 근처라 아침에 국밥거리에서 이른 아침 먹기도 좋았다. 국밥거리 아침시간은 6시부터라 여유가 있었다.

Clean, good and quiet location close to the river and Suncheon Bus terminal. I could park my bicycle for free in front of the hostel. WIFI was good and the apartment was spaceous and well equipped.

no washing machine. Supermarkets are a bit far away and there are no sights close to the Hotel. Dishes and cutlery are a bit limited. The balcony seemed a bit lost and unmaintained.

After a few experiences with "motels" masquerading as hotels, we weren't sure what to expect—but we were incredibly relieved to find that this is a genuine hotel. For a similar price point, it offered some of the best bedding we’ve encountered during our entire South Korea trip. The room was spacious, fully functional, and—once again—spotlessly clean. The location is also perfect, situated conveniently between the bus and train stations. While the staff wasn't always physically at the front desk, they were exceptionally helpful and responded to all our questions through the app almost instantly. The host even went out of his way to help us with our laundry, which was a huge lifesaver since finding a local laundromat proved to be a bit of a challenge. We recommend you to check the tourist information at the train station, they are incredibly helpful for local tips such as restaurants recommendations or activities. Our favourite were the "Brew Works" cafe/brewery and all cafe around, the 12km hike between Songgwangsa temple and Seonamsa temple, and strolling around Suncheon Natural Bay especially before sunset (they close at 8pm)

Like many areas in South Korea, the street might look a bit sketchy at first glance—especially if you arrive at night like we did—but you’ll quickly realize it’s perfectly safe and incredibly well-located. Overall, everything was perfect for us!

방이 넓었음

이불 덮으면 따뜻하다. 방의 온기가 차가움 그리고 비오는 날씨였는데 비가 창문바닥에 떨어지는 소리가 요란하고 특히 에어컨실외기에 떨어지는 소리까지 겹쳐서 잠을 자기가 어려웠다. 순천가면 다시는 안 갈 집이다.

Die Lage im Bezug auf Verkehrsmittel ist super. Das Zimmer war sehr groß mit Tisch, Stühlen und Küchenecke. Großes Badezimmer.

Das Hotel liegt an einer Schnellstraße und Bahnlinie. Insbesondere die Straße sorgte für permanentes Verkehrsrauschen, was auf Dauer störte. Weitere Handtuchstangen im Bad wären schön gewesen.

Livello ottimo. Nella stanza angolo cottura una chicca. Vicinissimo alla stazione e al parco lungo il fiume.

Odeurs de nourriture dans les parties communes

Nous avons apprécié l' effort du propriétaire pour changer notre chambre. La chambre équipée avec affaires de toilette. Sanitaires propres.

Hôtel vétuste, le hall d'accueil peu engageant avec forte odeur désagréable et du bazar plein la café d'escaliers. Nous avions réservé une chambre familiale, nous nous sommes retrouvés avec des futons peu épais...le site de Booking n'est pas clair sur ce sujet et les photos sur le site correspondent à certaines chambres je pense mais pas celles proposées lors de la réservation. Bref pour une nuit c'est passable si vous n'êtes pas.trop exigeant. Le quartier est peu engageant également avec des enfants...il vaut mieux réserver de l autre côté du pont.

Close to bus station but, walkable to train. Room is clean and spacious. Comfortable and functional for a very reasonable rate. Owners don’t speak English but respond very quickly to message. Kitchenette in room, large window opens to balcony of sorts. Tables and chairs.

2일 지냈음. 오후 3시에 도착. 간단히 주변 돌아 봄. 주변에는 아랫장이라는 재래 시장. 두번째 날은 아침 일찍 66번 버스로 순천만 습지. 총 3시간에 걸쳐서 돌아 봄. 오후엔 순천 영화 쵤영지 약 한시간 돌아 봄. 제3일엔 12시에 check-out 하기 전 호텔 주변의 순천 동천을 건너 조그만 동네를 방문. 죽도봉 이라는 약 100 미너 높이의 사이라서 총 한시간 에 걸쳐서 산책. 천주교 조곡동 교회는 하나의 예술 작품 같았음. 순천 동천엔 마침 서울로 가는 전라선과 내가 목포에서 타고 온 경전선의 만나는 곳. 순천 동천은 사실상 순천 습지의 시작인 듯이 물이 거의 흐르지 않음. 그런데, 그 죽도봉 동네를 호텔 쪽에서 사진을 찍어 보니, 마침 그 풍경이 내가 오래 전 독일 라인강 동안의 Bad Honnef 란 조그만 도시에서 1주일 머물은 때에 본 풍경과 비슷. 우리나라에도 멋진 도시가 많다는 느낌.

Sprachlich nicht ganz einfach

La habitación era muy grande , y tenía una cocina, con fregadera, nevera, microondas... El baño tiene bañera. La limpieza es correcta y todo (a/a, agua caliente, etc...) funciona perfectamente. La relación calidad precio es buenísima

La calle es un poco desangelado, alrededor hay todo hoteles, talleres...pero a unos 10 minutos andando hay calles con tiendas de conveniencia, comida rápida, restaurantes...así que no es mayor problema

Situé près de la gare routière de Suncheon d’où partent de nombreux bus, et à seulement 15 minutes à pied de la gare ferroviaire, nombreux cafés et restaurants à proximité, établissement propre, literie confortable

Pas grand chose la chambre est propre mais lit matelas à ressort peu confortable

Le personnel est inexistant il a fallu téléphoner pour le check in et on a été expédiés en 2mm sans aucune explication même pas bonjour après 3 nuits passées on ne les a jamais vu ! L emplacement est moche quartier sans intérêt et sans resto corrects

Location was great. Near the bus terminal and the train station. Next to the Dong River. Two good independent cafes nearby: Beaver House Bakery and Notate.

While clean definitely showing its age.

It was spacious, the staff was kind and the check-in/check-out process was super easy. The hotel was close to the bus station, which was useful! Good value for the price. There was also a shared kitchen in the hotel!

There was a lot of humidity in the room and the beds were a little bit too hard.

excellent location, although most places in somewhere as small as suncheon are. really clean room, fully equipped with some nice little extras. friendly staff, comfortable futons, nice bathroom, no complaints !

Great location and value for money. The place was clean and comfortable. Located at walking distance between Bus and Train stations. Everything we needed for a short stay in Suncheon.

The owner let us leave our bag early at the reception and was very nice and reactive. The room was clean and spacious! Everything needed was there and we were very happy about our 3 nights stay at Hotel Castle. Definitely recommend if you want to visit the region, it's perfectly situated near both the train and bus station! Really good quality/price value.

Parking was bad and narrow street.

We were expecting a modest stay, however Hotel Castle exceeded expectations. The family room was super comfortable, good size, spotless, nice kitchen and we even cooked dinner. They offer enough utensils for a family of four. We were on a road trip in Korea and free parking was available. Huge plus! Lovely staff!

Comfortable with private bathroom. Clean and good facilities. We had a nice stay. We were also allowed to use the washing machine and tumble dryer.

The reception is unmanned but it is just next to the door of his living room. He seems not far away though.
