Le personnel au petit soin L'eau chaude et le débit, ca fait du bien ! C'est pas partout au sri lanka qu'on trouve ça Le changement des serviettes de bain et de plage par jour Le fait d'avoir des bouteilles d'eau de serviettes par jour. La chambre est grande et propre. Le personnel est venu pour nous demander si on souhaitait qu'on y fasse le ménage (avec la plage juste en face et le sable qu'on ramène avec nous c'est appréciable) La salle de bain est canon! L'eau chaude qui fonctionne et avec un bon débit. Des petits échantillons de toilette mis a disposition La portion du petit déjeuner est vraiment généreuse ! Je pense qu'ils ont pris en compte les retour négatif a ce niveau la des anciens touristes parce avec nous c'était trop. Pour le 2eme jour on a demandé à avoir moins pour éviter le gaspillage. Je n'ai pas testé leur restaurant car on mangeait à l'extérieur. J'ai payé le prix affiché sur booking, par carte et sans les 3% de crédit que certains appliquent injustement.

La entrada y las escaleras para subir son mejorables, pero por el precio se lo vale

La cercanía de los trabajadores y lo pendientes que están a todo.

Por poner algo negativo, necesitan un punto donde el huésped pueda coger las toallas de la playa para no estar molestando a los trabajadores, el wifi no llega a las mesas de la playa del restaurante, por lo que los clientes no pueden utilizarlo en el restaurante, no es algo negativo, es algo por mejorar.

Great location beachside with beach chairs, a cocktail bar and foodservice. Quite a few people come from other hotels to sit and relax at this fantastic hotel and bar.

Some construction going on over April 2026 but not too problematic.

Literally loved everything. We had a fantastic stay with exceptional service throughout. A special thanks to Duminda from the operations team for his outstanding support and warm hospitality. The breakfast staff were attentive, very welcoming and the food was of excellent quality, fresh and delicious. The beachfront is absolutely stunning offering a perfect setting to relax. The location is also very convenient with easy access to spots like Brizo Mirissa and many great restaurants to try. Overall a truly memorable and relaxing getaway.

The rooms were moldy and was not what the pictures showed us. The furniture was old and outdated It was similar to a back Packers accommodation

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the location was amazing! Would stay here again if we get to return to Mirissa!

The beds were extremely comfortable! The room was and bathroom were very clean and the staff were super attentive. The location was perfect as we wanted to be right by the beach but also walking distance to cafes/restaurants and shops. Would stay here again.

I had a very disappointing experience at Salt Mirissa. The cleanliness was extremely poor. There was visible mould in both the bathroom and parts of the room, which made the space feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. On top of that, there were ants in the bathroom and even inside the room itself, which was quite unsettling. Unfortunately, the conditions were so bad that we couldn’t stay. We had to cancel our booking and then find alternative accommodation at short notice, which was stressful and inconvenient. For a place in such a beautiful location, this was really disappointing. Basic hygiene and maintenance should be a priority, and this was clearly lacking during our visit. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

Great location. Big king bed with good pillow selection. The restaurant and staff were fantastic. Don't go anywhere else, your already at the best restaurant on the beach. Lunch and dinner.

Air conditioning temperature light lit up the room like daylight when the lights went out. Hard to sleep if you like darkness. Bed was hard too.

The starlink internet did not work throughout our stay, had to resort to using our own data. The beach restaurant played heavy bass music to after midnight even though it’s not a club.

Television and dialog connection was not working. They should have checked it before giving the room. Some of them trying to make the connection work. Which was really appreciated. But could have done it beforehand.

The staff are simply wonderful.

The facility is under construction and pictures are not representing the reality. There is even no proper place to seat, eat and drink. We had a serious issue with the volume of the music. Although loud music is allowed until 10 pm, they continued until 12:15 during the our stayed although i called multiple times and begin them to stop or lower the volume. Selling a few beverage is more important than the law and your comfort. This facility and their mentality does not deserve their fee and rating. I will never go there again.

We stayed here recently and the accommodation itself was nice with a good location, but the ongoing construction work did affect our stay which we were not aware was on going. They’re currently building a new restaurant on the premises (a project that will take around two years from now), and unfortunately the noise starts very early in the morning and continues throughout the day. Shouting and banging all day long! We were woken up every morning and didn’t get the best sleep, so it wasn’t as relaxing. There was also dust on the balcony from the building work so we didn’t like to use it, plus a couple of power cuts during our stay which was very inconvenient. When we mentioned the noise to the staff and asked about a discount which they do offer onsite (half price to online), they weren’t very accommodating and were rude, which was disappointing. The onsite restaurant/bar is also quite expensive compared to other places nearby. Overall, it’s a nice place with good potential, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here during the construction period. Once the work is finished, it will likely be a much more enjoyable and peaceful experience.

Right in the heart of Mirissa and on the beach. Staff super friendly and comfortable sun loungers with towels provided. Breakfast was delicious!!

Construction work was taking place when I stayed which was unavoidable but a little disappointing. Room had everything I needed but there were ants on and around the bedside tables and in the sink area in the bathroom. WiFi struggled reaching the room and the beach.

The property was undergoing renovations, which they had informed us about in advance via messages. However, we weren’t aware of how extensive the work would be, and it did affect our overall experience. Attached a picture. Several nearby resorts were in better condition, and had we known earlier, we would have chosen another place. Additionally, the food shack was overpriced — we paid around ₹1000 for just four spring rolls, which didn’t feel worth it.

Das Frühstück war sehr ausgiebig und lecker direkt am Strand (Toast, Müsli,Saft, Ei, Würstchen, Obst…) Das Bett ist sehr bequem, Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber. Eins der besten Zimmer die wir in Sri Lanka hatten Direkt am Strand gelegen.

Really nice staff helping with luggage and cleaning room, good A/C, good bed, balcony, TV with international programs. The position is ok, however we didn't like the main street at all and all the bothering salesmen on the beach too.

Bad isolation of doors - neverending noise from sea guard that's right next to the hotel and small bugs coming through every small hole. We used repelents but it helped only partially. Then we woke up with cockroach in the room and left the hotel right away. Also there was not even one breakfast when they would bring everything correctly. I don't know if they don't care or just don't listen when we order, but they always mixed up everything or forgot to bring stuff. Also there was the construction going on so there was noise the whole day and workers sleeping out there in front of hotel during the night, which didn't feel safe at all. The way to the beach was always next to them so you had to make sure not to cut yourself on some iron laying on the ground.

Property is being extended with construction on site which should have been disclosed when booking. There was a cement mixer going all day causing constant noise and preventing use of balcony. Training facility next door with loudspeakers starting very early. TV did not work and wifi kept dropping out. Very disappointed, over priced

Posizione ideale, spiaggia raggiungibile senza ciabatte. Ottima colazione in spiaggia vista mare. Personale gentile. Pulizia buona per i livelli dello Sri Lanka.

Parte dell’hotel è ancora costrizione, ma questo non ha creato problemi nè rumori.

C’était sale et mal entretenu. Il y avait de la moisissure au plafond. Des étiquettes écrites au stylo sur les produits de douche. Tout est en travaux et il y a du bruit. Le petit-déjeuner n’est pas incroyable. Clairement cher pour ce que c’est.

Super lieve en vriendelijke mensen. Het hotel zit aan het strand bij het restaurant van SALT. Het heeft een mooie, praktische en goede ligging midden in het centrum. Er zitten veel leuke restaurantjes in de omgeving die op een paar 100 meter afstand zitten. Het ontbijt was goed!

На наш взгляд - лучший отель на побережье! Хороший сервис, чистый просторный номер, 2 шага до пляжа через местный ресторан. В шаговой доступности множество кафешек, магазин, аптеки. Внимательный и заботливый персонал.

Соседство с какой-то охранной базой (береговой охраны?). Оттуда периодически был слышен громкоговоритель :)

This is a guest house! The property is clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. Their à la carte menu offers a great variety of options, and the prices for dinner were very reasonable considering the quality of the food. The location is great, right at the beach However, what was really inappropriate is the way the property is advertised online. The photos posted in the ad are misleading and don’t accurately reflect the reality of the place. More honest and detailed images would help set better expectations for future guests. Overall, it's a good place to stay if you’re looking for good food, a clean environment, and a prime beachside location — just be prepared for a property that may not exactly match its promotional pictures.

Worse place that you can ever stay!!!Super dirty there was lizards and cockroaches was in the room and they were giant management didn’t care when we found giant cockroach in the room they took 20 min to reach to dream and they were not supporting.

Very friendly staff and Salt is right on the beach. On our future visits to Mirissa, Salt is our preferred place.

The rooms were very old. The towels are not clean, they are all stained. The beach was nice. The hotel staff was good but the restaurant staff was very bad. The service is very late, the food is very bad. The room was very big but we were already 2 people. For this money this hotel was very bad. I definitely do not recommend it.
